Abstract

In order to establish sustainable ecotourism in Selindung, this study examines the connections between policy regulation, infrastructure development, community involvement, and environmental awareness. Although prior research has demonstrated the significance of combining environmental preservation with the growth of the tourism industry, little is known about the mechanisms behind these relationships. Analyzing the impact of environmental consciousness, community engagement, infrastructure development, and policy regulations on the growth of sustainable ecotourism and environmental sustainability in Selindung is the primary goal of the study. The study employs a cross-sectional design and a quantitative methodology. Two hundred people were surveyed using probability sampling to collect data. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to analyze the data. The study's findings indicate that the development of sustainable ecotourism is most influenced by environmental awareness (?=0.797), followed by policy regulation (?=0.443), infrastructure development (?=0.624), and community involvement (?=0.716). Environmental sustainability is significantly mediated by sustainable ecotourism (?=0.674).

Abstract

Financial Technology (Fintech) has experienced rapid development and brought innovation to the digital financial system. However, behind the convenience and efficiency offered, fintech also faces serious challenges related to Money Laundering (TPPU). This crime exploits loopholes in regulations and the ease of digital transactions to disguise illegal fund flows. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and law enforcement system against TPPU in the fintech ecosystem. The study aims to analyze the role of fintech in preventing TPPU and review the effectiveness of regulations that have been implemented by the government and financial institutions in Indonesia. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory approach. The data used consists of primary data, in the form of laws and regulations related to fintech and TPPU, as well as secondary data obtained from scientific journals, books, and official reports of financial institutions such as the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK). The analysis was conducted qualitatively to examine the effectiveness of the policies that have been implemented and to identify challenges in implementing TPPU prevention in the fintech sector. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of more effective policy strategies in dealing with money laundering in the fintech industry, as well as provide recommendations for regulators and industry players in improving compliance with the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) principles.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the reasons behind the transformation of Rudrah dance from bedhaya to srimpi by Wahyu Santoso Prabowo. This transformation is rooted in the basic idea of Rudrah bedhaya dance, although the documentation is limited to written notes and photographs. This research is based on the analysis of the 1979 Rudrah dance manuscript to explore the creative process, chronology, and reasons behind the transformation. The method used is qualitative with a historical approach and text analysis. Data were obtained through document studies, archives, in-depth interviews, and academic literature covering movements, floor patterns, accompaniment, and socio-cultural context. The interview with Wahyu Santoso Prabowo aimed to gain a deeper perspective on the interpretation of Bedhaya and Srimpi elements in the context of form transformation. The results showed that the fundamental changes started from the manuscript traces to become a new dance form. These changes are fully realized by the choreographer to improve the aesthetic side and contextualization with the times. The visual changes that occur in Rudrah dance include changes in the form of dance performances related to changes in choreographic structure, clothing, getting accompaniment, and duration which aim to improve aesthetics and relevance in the modern era without losing its philosophical essence. This transformation becomes an innovative strategy for preserving traditional dance

Abstract

Abuse of authority by state officials in Indonesia remains a serious issue, not only violating regulations but also causing state financial losses and diminishing the quality of public services. This study examines the dynamics of administrative and criminal liability in cases of abuse of authority that result in state losses, especially after the issuance of Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration. There is an assumption that the return of state losses by the perpetrator can eliminate his criminal liability, even though this is contrary to the provisions of Article 4 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption. This study is a normative legal study with a normative and philosophical juridical approach. The results indicate that the return of state losses does not immediately eliminate criminal liability for corruption. In practice, the results of administrative examinations can be used as evidence in enforcing criminal law. Therefore, coordination between the realm of administrative law and criminal law is important in resolving abuse of authority fairly and effectively.

Abstract

The implementation of the Criminal Procedure Law in Indonesia is a critical part of recognizing a fair criminal justice system under human rights principles. An ideal legal system should provide legal protection for every individual involved in the criminal process, whether suspect, defendant, or victim. However, in practice, there are still various challenges that hinder the implementation of Criminal Procedure Law effectively and fairly. Various problems such as inconsistent law enforcement, violations of the principle of fair trial, and limited access to justice are issues that must be addressed. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Criminal Procedure Law in Indonesia and identify the main challenges faced in realizing a fair legal system. The approach used in this study is the normative legal method with a focus on the analysis of laws and regulations and literature studies related to Criminal Procedure Law. The data used in this study consists of primary data in statutes and regulations, such as the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), as well as secondary data from law journals, academic literature, and previous research results. Data collection techniques are carried out through literature studies by analyzing various relevant legal documents and academic literature. This approach aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the applicable regulations and the challenges that arise in their implementation. Through this analysis, the research is expected to contribute to the development of a fairer and more effective criminal law system in Indonesia, as well as offer concrete recommendations for relevant stakeholders.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the dual role of the sandwich generation on the psychological well-being of individuals entering adulthood in Cirebon City who care for parents and fulfill family responsibilities. The main focus is on strategies and efforts to maintain a balance between family responsibilities and personal well-being, in order to achieve a more balanced and harmonious life. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to understand the subjective experiences of individuals entering adulthood 20-30 years old as a sandwich generation in Cirebon City. In-depth interviews were conducted to explore the emotions, expectations, and challenges faced by individuals when caring for their parents and siblings, as well as how they manage their personal health while carrying out these dual roles. The results of this study showed that some informants were forced to take on the role of the sandwich generation due to family demands. This study shows that the sandwich generation faces great challenges in balancing the role of caring for parents and younger siblings with personal well-being. Although their responsibilities are different, good communication skills and stress management strategies, such as taking time for themselves, are both helpful. They hope to create financial stability and a more equitable division of responsibilities.

Abstract

Given the unprecedented global economic and operational disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to significant declines across various industries, particularly the mining sector, a critical question emerges regarding the effective strategies companies employed to ensure their survival and continuity. This study investigates how Amman Mineral Nusantara (AMNT) successfully navigated the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the critical role of agile leadership. Utilizing a qualitative research approach with in-depth interviews and documentation from AMNT's Batu Hijau site, the study examines the interplay of agile leadership, strategic commitment, integrated risk management, and market adaptation. Findings reveal that AMNT's resilience stemmed from its adaptive and transformative leadership, which fostered a culture of rapid response, uncertainty management, and robust communication and collaboration. The company's commitment to human resources and ESG principles, alongside comprehensive risk management and crisis-driven innovation, enabled sustained operational continuity, financial stability, and employee welfare. Key determinants of agile leadership effectiveness—individual responsibility, trust, self-organized teams, pioneer spirit, and focus—were crucial in navigating the crisis and promoting organizational resilience, particularly within the Indonesian work culture. This research highlights agile leadership as a vital model for effective crisis management and a catalyst for long-term organizational transformation and growth.

Abstract

This article discusses the epistemology of critical theory, focusing on the thought of Jurgen Habermas as a representative of the second generation of the Frankfurt School. Epistemology, the study of knowledge, plays central role understanding knowledge is formed, disseminated, and used in social contexts. this context, Habermas critiques positivism and emphasizes the importance of communicative rationality and the public sphere as a means to achieve valid knowledge. He distinguishes between three types of knowledge: technical, practical, emancipatory, each which serves to understand and change social reality. Through discourse theory, Habermas emphasizes that social norms and legitimacy must be generated through an inclusive deliberative process, in which all voices are heard equally. The article also explores criticisms of Habermas's epistemology, including postmodernist views that challenge the ideal of communication free from domination. The methodological approaches used are literature review and qualitative analysis of the main philosophical works of the Frankfurt School and Habermas, as well as discourse analysis to understand the relationship between knowledge and power in society. Thus, Habermas’s critical theory epistemology offers relevant framework for understanding the dynamics of power and knowledge in modern societies, as well as its implications for law, media, and education. Other implications include the development of responsive public policies and intercultural dialogue to strengthen cooperation. this study not only provides a theoretical understanding of the epistemology critical theory, but also offers practical guidance for the application of these concepts in a broader social context, contributing to the creation of a more just democratic society.

Abstract

This research responds to the debate regarding the legal status of Regional Companies (Regional Companies) and the legal position of regional heads in their management. With a legal deconstruction approach, this study aims to find the fundamental meaning of the formation of a legal entity of a Regional Company, which is expected to provide legal certainty for local governments, communities, and third parties who want to collaborate. The method used is normative legal research with a focus on the discovery of law in concreto, which requires the analysis of previous legal norms. This study includes observations of the management of Regional Companies to understand the dynamics of the relationship between the legal status of Regional Companies, regional heads, and the principles of the welfare state in the context of economic development. The resulting legal arguments are expected to explain the dilemma of the legal status of Regional Companies which lie between public and private law, as well as their impact on the institutional, financial, and responsibility of regional heads. The analysis process is carried out by the method of systematizing legal materials in a descriptive manner, explicit explanations, and prescriptive improvements through legal interpretation.
