Abstract

The importance of introducing capital market investment to students and students is highlighted in increasing financial understanding and investment interest in youth. One effective approach is through educational seminars that can provide practical knowledge and in-depth understanding. This community service aims to introduce capital market investment to students and students. The activity involved 100 participants consisting of STIE Ganesha students and SMK Nusantara Ciputat students on September 15, 2023 in the Hall room on the second floor of the STIE Ganesha Campus. The activity method uses seminars, socialization, counseling and question and answer. The results of the activity show that educational seminars are effective in increasing knowledge and investment interest among students and students. Participants showed significant improvement in their understanding of the basic concepts of capital markets, existing investment instruments, and risk management. In addition, participants also showed increased interest in starting to invest in the capital market after attending the seminar. The activity has important implications in the development and implementation of educational seminars on capital market investment for students and students. This kind of seminar can be used as an effective means to increase their knowledge, understanding, and interest in investing, thus helping them in taking better financial decisions in the future

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan kondisi kronis terjadinya peningkatan kadar glukosa darah yang dapat menyebabkan komplikasi, penurunan kualitas hidup hingga kematian. Penggunaan obat tradisional pada penyakit diabetes dapat membantu mengontrol kadar glukosa darah dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup, namun belum banyak masyarakat mengetahui tentang penggunaan tanaman herbal terhadap penyakit diabetes dan juga tentang sertifikasi obat tradisional. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait penyakit diabetes, penggunaan obat tradisional dan pengetahuan tentang pertanggungjawaban hukum obat tradisional yang belum tersertifikasi dengan cara edukasi menggunakan leaflet dan penyuluhan secara lisan, kemudian dilakukan juga skrining kesehatan berupa pengukuran tekanan darah, kadar glukosa dan keluhan penyakit. Target pengabdian masyarakat adalah masyarakat RT 36 Kelurahan Cempaka. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran kuesioner pre-post diketahui terdapat perbedaan nilai kuesioner dari pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan penggunaan obat tradisional (sig. 0.000) dan edukasi sertifikasi obat tradisional (sig. 0.000) yang menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi obat tradisional diabetes dan sertifikasinya.

Abstract

FJ Studio is a women's fitness studio located in Bandung. The problem is, since its establishment in 2018, FJ Studio has relied solely on word-of-mouth promotion and through the Instagram account of a local influencer. The promotional methods used are deemed ineffective; furthermore, the cost of the influencer is considered high. Therefore, to make FJ Studio's promotions more effective and cost-efficient, we, as a community service team from the Faculty of Informatics, Telkom University, developed a website to serve as an informational and promotional platform for FJ Studio. Due to the limited personnel at FJ Studio, ease of website management was prioritized. We utilized the Google Sites framework for the development of the FJ Studio website, which can be easily managed online and offers various practical and user-friendly content management features. We conducted training sessions for the owners and staff of FJ Studio to introduce them to the website management environment so that they can use and update it regularly.

Abstract

UMKM Rasa Alami has succeeded in making a significant increase in the production and sale of bananas through the implementation of several innovations. These innovations include the use of a banana sale dryer which facilitates an increase in production volume, the adoption of an e-commerce based sales system which expands sales reach and simplifies the process, as well as the implementation of a financial system that can be accessed via smartphone which allows Rasa Alami MSME partners to control and record financial data every sales transactions. As a result of these innovations, there was an increase in sales banana production capacity from 1.2 tons in October to 1.8 tons in November, showing an increase of 55%. Meanwhile, sales turnover also increased by 50%, from Rp. 8,500,000 in October to Rp. 12,749,999 in November 2023.

Abstract

Microsoft excel menjadi salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan menyusun laporan keuangan perusahaan. Lulusan SMK akuntansi diharapkan mempunyai kompetensi khusus dalam membuat laporan keuangan perusahaan. Laporan keuangan adalah informasi yang sangat penting untuk menilai kinerja keuangan suatu entitas. Kemampuan siswa mampu menyusun laporan keuangan dengan berbagai aplikasi menjadi hal yang perlu didukung oleh pihak sekolah. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu pihak sekolah menyediakan pelatihan menyusun laporan keuangan berbasis excel bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Akuntansi. Target dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan hard skill penyusunan laporan keuangan menggunakan aplikasi excel bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Akuntansi. Pelatihan ini diberikan untuk siswa SMK Global Insan Cendekia Jakarta jurusan akuntansi yang berjumlah 21 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah metode seminar dan praktik. Berdasarkan proses pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan, siswa jurusan akuntansi memperoleh pemahaman tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi excel untuk menyusun laporan keuangan serta mengalami peningkatan keterampilan dalam menyusun laporan keuangan lebih mudah dan cepat.

Abstract

The transformation of villages into digital villages through the development of village websites is an important step in improving the quality of public services at the local level. This article reviews the impact of information digitization in the context of Klatakan Village website development on improving the quality of public services. Through the village website, the community can access information about development programs, health services, education, and community activities more quickly and easily. The use of digital technology allows villages to communicate effectively with their citizens, increase transparency, and speed up responses to community input. However, the success of the digital village transformation also depends on the internet accessibility and digital literacy of the community. Therefore, the government needs to ensure adequate digital infrastructure and provide training for residents to optimally utilize the village website. Thus, the development of the Klatakan Village website can serve as an example of how information digitization can improve the quality of public services at the village level and strengthen community participation in local development.

Abstract

Sanitation problems that exist in developing countries are caused by several factors, namely the lack of attention given by the government to the sanitation sector, the lack of availability of clean water, the lack of clean behaviour, and inadequate sanitation in public places such as schools. This community service activity aims to improve water, sanitatin and hygiene in school (WinS) with the hope of improving the welfare and health of children in the school environment. This community service activity prioritises problems in WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), namely low student knowledge about sanitation and hygiene, lack of hand washing soap and limited access to clean water. This community service method consists of several stages, namely the planning stage, preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The results of this community service activity showed that there was an increase in the average knowledge of students about WASH by 0.26. Suggestions that can be given are to always give reminders to students about clean and healthy living behaviour, increase education through posters, leaflets and videos.

Abstract

The main problem that occurs in the upstream area of the Brantas watershed is the high level of erosion due to ecologically incorrect horticultural farming models and methods. This condition causes vulnerability for society in facing climate change. The aim of this service activity is to determine the level of vulnerability to risks due to climate change in Tulungrejo and Sumber Brantas. This activity carried out in two villages, Tulungrejo and Sumer Brantas in February 2021. Three main activities were carried out, namely Focus Group Discussion (FGD), climate change risk analysis using Analisa 4 Jendela method, and climate change risk analysis using 5W+1H. Tulungrejo and Sumber Brantas are classified as areas that have a mild to moderate risk level in the agricultural sector. The threat of high rainfall causes flooding to become one of the causes of high risk in various strategic areas because it occurs in places that have high vulnerability. Abstract

Stunting is a problem faced both globally and nationally, the increase in stunting cases begins in the MP ASI phase or when the baby is 6 months old. One of the causes is suboptimal feeding of babies and children and problems such as decreased appetite in toddlers. One effort to overcome a toddler's decreased appetite is with complementary therapy, tuina massage, and herbal administration. Method: This activity was carried out in May-December 2024 in Sambiroto, Puromartani, Kalasan, Sleman. There are 5 stages in this activity including socialization, implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and program sustainability. There is an increase in the knowledge and skills of mothers and cadres regarding the practice of tuina massage and the use of herbs to increase appetite in toddlers.

Abstract

In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, religious knowledge is very necessary. This is because humans are spoiled by technological advances that are rational, practical, empirical and material in nature. TPQ is one of the non-formal institutions that can protect the Muslim generation from these dangers. However, in reality, many TPQs in Grogol District, Sukoharjo, are not managed well. The management structure, curriculum, and teaching methods are not well-regulated. Therefore, the STIM Surakarta Community Service Team held a seminar on managing TPQ with the aim of enabling TPQ teachers in the Grogol sub-district to manage TPQ well. This Community Service uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The stages followed are observation, problem identification, preparation, implementation, evaluation and publication. This community service activity succeeded in providing insight to TPQ teachers about good TPQ management.
