PAKDEMAS : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat
PAKDEMAS : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dengan EISSN 2809-7602 dan PISSN 2809-6614 merupakan jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Ratu Samban berisi hasil-hasil kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa penerapan berbagai bidang ilmu diantaranya pertanian, kesehatan, pendidikan, teknik, sosial humaniora, ekonomi dan komputer. PAKDEMAS : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat diterbitkan setahun 3 kali terbit di bulan (April, Agustus dan Desember). PAKDEMAS : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Ratu Samban adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan hasil penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di PAKDEMAS meliputi hasil-hasil penerapan penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di PAKDEMAS maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. PAKDEMAS menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam pengabdian hasil penerapan penelitian dan hilirisasi hasil penelitian ilmiah kuantitatif maupun kualitatif berbasis komunitas kedalam format pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan mencakup: Pertanian Kesehatan Keteknikan Sosial Humaniora Kependidikan Sains Keolahragaan Bahasa Bisnis dan Ekonomi Teknik dan Kejuruan Kesenian

<![CDATA[Salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Bangun Purba, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu adalah Desa Pasir Agung. Di Desa Pasir Agung terdapat dasawisma yang dikelola oleh ibu-ibu PKK. Namun, pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Pasir Agung tentang pemanfaatan limbah sisa rumah tangga dari nasi basi menjadi pupuk organik cair masih sangat minim, untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Limbah sisa rumah tangga khususnya nasi basi membutuhkan pengolahan agar lebih bermanfaat serta menjadi produk yang berkualitas. Salah satunya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengaplikasikan nasi basi sebagai MOL (Mikro Organisme Lokal). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesikan permasalahan pada ibu-ibu PKK yang dapat memanfaatkan lingkungan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan masyarakat untuk mewujudkan pertanian organik ramah lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan limbah nasi basi sehingga dapat mengurangi ketergantungan masyarakat terhadap penggunaan pupuk kimia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan dan pengabdian kepada peserta tentang pembuatan pupuk organik cair (POC) dari nasi basi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan diikuti 22 peserta, yang diikuti antusias dan diskusi serta tanya jawab selama pengabdian berlangsung. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pengabdian berupa penyuluhan, serta tanya jawab sangat tepat dalam memberikan motivasi kepada masyarakat untuk dapat membuat pupuk organik cair nasi basi.]]>

<![CDATA[Mendeley is software that can help write citations and bibliography on scientific papers, with management and academic social networks to make it easier to arrange online research publications and find the most recent publication updates. It is important for students to be given training in using the Mendeley application. There are still many students, especially students who are entering their final year, who have not been able to maximize the features of the Mendeley software. The training was attended by 41 semester VI students of the Biology Education Study Program, the PMIPA FKIP UNCEN Department. The activity was carried out through several stages, namely: presentation of the introduction of Mendeley Software, installation of Mendeley Software on student software (laptops), application of Mendeley Software in Microsoft Word for citations in the preparation of the final project and evaluation on project activity. This service activity succeeded in providing an understanding of writing references/citations (Soft Skills) to semester VI students of the Biology Study Program in working on their final assignment in the form of a thesis. It is hoped that in the future, this training can be developed to the point where students can produce scientific papers that are published in international and national accredited journals.]]>

<![CDATA[Sumber referensi pada tugas akhir yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa calon guru biologi masih lemah karena sitasi dari jurnal nasional atau internasional masih kurang. Hal ini diduga karena kurangnya pengetahuan mereka tentang nama jurnal dan website penelusuran jurnal. Pelatihan dalam penelusuran sumber referensi bagi mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Cenderawasih diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi dalam membantu mahasiswa dalam penyusunan tugas akhir sehingga menghasilkan tugas akhir yang lebih berkualitas. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di FKIP Universitas Cenderawasih. Metode dalam pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi terkait pengenalan sumber-sumber referensi online pada mahasiswa disertai praktik langsung cara mencari referensi untuk pemenuhan penyususnan tugas akhir. Website sumber informasi yang dikenalkan pada mahasiswa diantaranya yaitu Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search dan DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journal). Mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi semester VI FKIP Universitas Cenderawasih sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Partisipasi tersebut dibuktikan dengan kehadiran mereka serta dengan senang hati mengikuti materi serta turut aktif dalam berbagai diskusi. <![CDATA[The cultivation of rice (Oryza sativa) cannot be separated from the threat of major pests and diseases that often attack these plants. If the pest attack is not properly controlled, it can reduce the productivity of the rice plant. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide socialization or counseling to farmers in Pematang Balam Village, Hulu Palik District, North Bengkulu Regency to be able to recognize the symptoms of pest attacks and the main diseases of rice plants and then apply appropriate, fast and accurate controls. The method used is a form of counseling. This counseling activity was given to 30 farmer members in the village of Pematang Balam. The results obtained during the community service activities were 1) the participants were enthusiastic about the material provided, seen from the many questions asked by the participants both in the form of the characteristics of pests and how the symptoms were caused by these pests and diseases, 2) in general the participants already knew chemical pest control methods. The conclusions of this community service activity are 1) the service participants and all Pematang Balam Village officials welcomed this service program. 2). the implementation of the service program went quite well and smoothly and the participants were quite enthusiastic. 3). The farmers and village officials of Pematang Balam hope that there will be a follow-up service program with another theme to add to and open up scientific knowledge in the community.]]>

This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques obtained using observation and interview techniques. Based on the results of the research that planting vegetables can provide children with understanding related to science learning, namely the biological science of plant reproduction, the biological science that plants are living things that need food, and the biological science that plants need sunlight to grow.]]>

<![CDATA[Volumenious bulky medical records are one of the problems that often occur in storage and in circumstances where the medical records of patients with certain diseases who routinely go on an outpatient basis or are treated for a long time and routinely become very thick because the patient's entire medical history is stored in one folder. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is known that the Soeprapto Social Hospital in Bengkulu Province does not have standard medical record thickness and work procedures for volumenious bulky medical record management. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to create a culture of using work procedures as a guideline for procedures or stages in managing volumenious bulky medical records. Community Service activities are carried out for 2 months, from November to December 2022 at the Soeprapto Social Hospital in Bengkulu Province with 10 participants. The method used in this Community Service activity is community education through socialization/counseling and training by demonstrating the use of work procedures for volumenious bulky medical record management. Socialization/ extension and training on the use of volumenious bulky medical record work procedures for filing officers at the Soeprapto Social Hospital in Bengkulu Province went well. Understanding in the application of work procedures can be implemented. After the PKM activities have been carried out, the Soeprapto Social Hospital in Bengkulu Province plans to evaluate the use of these work procedures in stages according to patient visits.]]>

<![CDATA[This article is the result of Community Service (PKM) activities at IP Yakin Jakarta Vocational School. The team focused on PKM activities for students at the SMKS level. Methods developed in a group with the same position among members, especially based on age, status or class. The aim of PKM is to increase understanding regarding PIK-R, the impact of early marriage in adolescence on reproductive health, free sex behaviour that can cause sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS in adolescents and to know the legal basis for the PIK-R program as contained in the regulation of the head BKKBN and DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation. This PKM activity is in the form of providing health education about PIK-R, HIV/AIDS AND the legal basis of PIK-R. Evaluation of PKM activities using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of this PKM are in the form of increasing knowledge, attitudes, and life skills in early marriage, preventing free sex behaviour that can transmit HIV/AIDS to adolescents and being able to demonstrate the legal basis related to PIK-R.]]>

<![CDATA[Artikel ini merupakan hasil kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Cipetir, Jawa Barat. Tim memfokuskan kegiatan PKM pada anak-anak, remaja dan orang dewasa. Metode yang dikembangkan dalam satu kelompok semua berbaur baik kedudukan, umur, status atau kelas. Tujuan PKM, mengurangi trauma pada korban gempa agar siap meneruskan dan menjalani kehidupan seperti sebelumnya, Meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental dan psikologis korban terhadap dampak pasca gempa, Mempercepat proses penyembuhan psikis dan Mengontrol dan mengurangi risiko peningkatan stress ke level depresi. Kegiatan PKM ini berupa pemberian penyuluhan tentang manajemen stress , jenis stress dan cara mengatasi stress agar tidak berdampak lebih lanjut pada kesehatan. Hasil PKM ini berupa berkurangnya trauma pada korban gempa dan siap meneruskan dan menjalani kehidupan seperti sebelumnya dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental dan psikologis korban terhadap dampak pasca gempa.]]>

<![CDATA[The high prevalence of cervical cancer is influenced by the behavior of early detection which is still low. According to the 2018 Riskesdas tumors/cancer in Indonesia showed an increase from 1.4 per 1000 population in 2013 to 1.79 per 1000 population in 2018. Cervical cancer can be detected by IVA method but the interest and motivation of women of childbearing age to do IVA examination to detect cervical cancer is still minimal. Health education needs to be done to increase the knowledge and interest of mothers (WUS) about cervical cancer. This community service activity has the aim of increasing the behavior of women in the Kandang Mas sub-district to carry out early detection of cervical cancer through the IVA method examination. The implementation method is to provide socialization or health counseling using leaflets and leaflets about the IVA method examination material and followed by a question and answer session with the participants. The results obtained from this community service activity were an increase in the knowledge and interest of women of childbearing age (WUS) in carrying out the IVA Test. In addition, the service method in the form of counseling and question and answer is very appropriate in motivating the community to be able to foster community interest and motivation, especially women of childbearing age (WUS) to carry out early detection of cervical cancer with the IVA method at the nearest health facility.]]>
