Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the needs students have about English workbooks that incorporate Madurese culture in order to teach English to elementary school students. The survey method was employed in this study. Interviews and student needs surveys were employed as data gathering tools. Twenty Elementary School children in the first semester of SDN Paseyan 1 Sampang Madura, particularly in the academic year 2025/2026, and an English teacher became research subjects. The interview results were evaluated descriptively, while the questionnaires were assessed based on percentages. The questionnaire includes questions about Madurese culture-based learning, English-language instruction in schools, and literature used in the classroom. The findings reveal that the majority of SDN Paseyan 1 Sampang students agreed that English workbook incorporating Madurese culture is needed.

Abstract

Textbook comprehension in Islamic Education and Indonesian Language learning requires students to move beyond memorization toward interpretation, evaluation, and contextual application. This study aims to examine the effect of integrating Wordwall, artificial intelligence, and gamified learning on students’ comprehension of Islamic Education and Indonesian Language textbooks at SMA Nurul Jadid. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group model was employed, involving 60 students divided into an experimental group and a control group, with data analyzed through descriptive statistics, assumption testing, paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results show that the experimental group’s mean score increased from 62.40 to 84.20, while the control group increased from 61.80 to 73.10. The paired sample t-test confirmed significant improvement in both groups, but the experimental group achieved a larger gain and a higher N-Gain score of 0.58 compared with 0.30 in the control group. Student responses also indicated high motivation, engagement, and perceived usefulness of AI-supported learning. The novelty of this study lies in integrating Wordwall, AI-supported scaffolding, and gamified learning as a unified instructional model for textbook comprehension in religious and language education.

Abstract

Digital learning has become central to classroom practice, yet its pedagogical value remains limited when technology is used only for content delivery, assessment, or task completion without addressing students’ emotional readiness and engagement. This study examined the effect of emotion-aware digital learning using the How We Feel app on student engagement in Indonesian Language and Islamic Education. A quantitative comparative quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest non-equivalent control group model involved 120 secondary students at an Islamic private school in Probolinggo, divided into Indonesian Language experimental and control groups and Islamic Education experimental and control groups. The results showed that the experimental groups achieved higher engagement gains than the control groups, with large effect sizes in both subjects. The effect was stronger in Islamic Education, indicating that emotion-aware digital learning is particularly effective when aligned with moral reflection, empathy, and value internalization. Emotional engagement improved most strongly in Islamic Education, cognitive engagement increased most in Indonesian Language, and empathy emerged as the strongest predictor of student engagement. The novelty lies in integrating an emotion-tracking digital tool into subject-based learning and comparing its effects across linguistic and religious education contexts.

Abstract

The transformation of 21st-century education requires chemistry learning to move beyond conceptual mastery and foster students' critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial skills. One promising approach to addressing these demands is the integration of Project-Based Learning (PjBL), chemo-entrepreneurship (CEP), and digital modules in chemistry education. This study aims to analyze research trends related to the development of PjBL-based digital modules integrated with chemo-entrepreneurship in chemistry learning, particularly on hydrocarbon topics, during the period 2015–2025. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Data were collected from Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, ERIC, Google Scholar, Garuda, and SINTA databases. The selection process resulted in 29 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that existing studies are predominantly focused on the development of e-modules, electronic worksheets (e-LKPD), and the implementation of PjBL to enhance critical thinking skills, creativity, science process skills, and entrepreneurial interest. However, studies that simultaneously integrate digital modules, PjBL, and chemo-entrepreneurship within hydrocarbon learning remain limited. Therefore, the development of PjBL-based digital modules integrated with chemo-entrepreneurship for hydrocarbon topics offers significant potential as an innovative learning strategy aligned with the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Implementasi Kurikulum Nasional menuntut adanya kontekstualisasi pembelajaran yang relevan dengan karakteristik peserta didik dan potensi daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, implementasi, dan efektivitas pengembangan kurikulum mikro melalui model "Digi-Local PjBL" berbasis media gamifikasi Wordwall dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuala Pembuang, Kabupaten Seruyan. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test), serta angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal Seruyan ke dalam platform digital Wordwall mampu mengubah dinamika kelas menjadi lebih interaktif. Secara kuantitatif, terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada ketuntasan klasikal penguasaan kosakata siswa dari yang awalnya di bawah 40% menjadi di atas 85% pada akhir siklus. Selain itu, aspek afektif siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang sangat tinggi karena materi yang dipelajari memiliki kedekatan emosional dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kreativitas guru dalam merekonstruksi kurikulum di tingkat kelas agar responsif terhadap kemajuan teknologi digital tanpa mencabut akar budaya lokal siswa.

Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya melalui teks narasi, memiliki potensi untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai green industry sebagai upaya menumbuhkan kepedulian lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa kelas IV SDN Pabuaran Tumpeng 1 tentang pentingnya green industry serta mendeskripsikan peran pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui teks narasi bertema green industry dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Angket tertutup diberikan kepada 23 siswa kelas IV sebagai screening untuk menentukan informan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penyaringan, dipilih 6 siswa yang mewakili kategori persepsi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah sebagai informan wawancara. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, angket terbuka, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan triangulasi teknik untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap pentingnya green industry melalui pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Siswa mampu menggambarkan aktivitas pembelajaran, memahami isi teks, pesan, dan amanat cerita, serta memberikan penilaian terhadap isi teks dan perilaku tokoh. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan keinginan untuk menerapkan perilaku peduli lingkungan, seperti menjaga kebersihan, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, dan melakukan kerja bakti. Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui teks narasi bertema green industry juga berperan dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis siswa melalui pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual dan bermakna. Dengan demikian, integrasi tema green industry dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat menjadi alternatif strategi untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan perilaku peduli lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif pada materi alat listrik penataan rambut yang layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam mata kuliah Perawatan, Pratata, dan Penataan Rambut di Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, serta belum tersedianya media pembelajaran yang menyajikan materi alat listrik penataan rambut secara lengkap dalam satu media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva yang memuat materi penggunaan hair dryer, flat iron, curling iron, dan crimping iron, dilengkapi dengan gambar, video, kuis interaktif, dan fitur navigasi. Uji kelayakan dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, sedangkan uji praktikalitas dan efektivitas dilakukan kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh nilai validasi ahli materi sebesar 86% dan ahli media sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat layak. Uji praktikalitas memperoleh persentase 95,7% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,72 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa pada materi alat listrik penataan rambut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Canva-based audio-visual learning on the motivation and learning achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN Batioh 1 Banyuates Sampang. The background of this study is based on the low learning motivation of students, which has an impact on learning outcomes, as well as the need for learning innovations that utilize digital technology effectively and attractively. Canva-based audio-visual learning was chosen because it is able to present learning materials in a visual, interactive, and easy-to-understand manner for elementary school students. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SDN Batioh 1 Banyuates Sampang, who were divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning motivation questionnaires and learning achievement tests. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests to determine the differences in motivation and learning achievement before and after the implementation of Canva-based audio-visual learning. The results showed that Canva-based audio-visual learning had a significant effect on increasing students' learning motivation. In addition, this learning method also had a significant effect on improving students' learning achievement compared to conventional learning. Thus, it can be concluded that Canva-based audio-visual learning is effective in increasing the motivation and learning achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN Batioh 1 Banyuates Sampang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Canva media on students' learning interest and critical thinking skills in fraction material for fourth-grade students at UPTD SDN Banyuates 1 Sampang. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type and a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires to measure learning interest and tests to measure students' critical thinking skills. The data obtained were then analyzed using statistical tests including normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect of the implementation of the Canva-assisted PBL model on students' learning interest and critical thinking skills. This is shown by the increase in scores after the treatment and the results of hypothesis testing which show a significance value of less than 0.05. Thus, the Canva-assisted PBL model is effectively used in mathematics learning in elementary schools, especially in fraction material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz media on students' learning motivation and problem-solving skills on the material of plane figures in grade IV of SDN Jatra Timur 1 Sampang. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest. The research sample consisted of 40 fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using normality tests and paired sample t-tests to test the significance of differences before and after treatment. The results showed that the application of the PBL model assisted by Quizizz media significantly increased students' learning motivation and problem-solving skills. This model was able to create an active, enjoyable learning atmosphere and encourage students to think critically and independently, in line with the demands of learning in the digital era.
