Abstract

Teachers often overlook the importance of learning media in supporting the learning process for various reasons. These include the limited preparation time, difficulty finding suitable media, and unavailability of sufficient funds. The purpose of the training is to introduce the use of learning media that can be an alternative for teachers and can be implemented in the learning process. The training aims to help create internet-based learning media with android applications and web blogs in the classroom learning process for MGMP teachers in the Accounting Skills Program in Sleman Regency. At the end of the activity, participants felt that the training activity was beneficial for developing we-blog-based learning media and android applications that they would use in learning at their respective schools. Participants' responses to the training activities carried out stated that from the quality of the presenters, the quality of the modules was excellent.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a meaningful role in the Indonesian economy, sources of employment, and income. The development and sustainability of this type of entity, become the government's top priority in maintaining economic stability. Devotion activities on the design of MSME financial statements using SI APIK application for MSMEs of Bakery Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim in South Sumatera. This activity provides education to business owners about the importance of financial statements. Approach used insolving the problem is participatory methode. The results showed that the SI APIK application made it easier for MSMEs of Bakery Palace to meet the needs of its accounting system. Business owners do not need to bother in compiling financial statements because the recording on the SI APIK application will automatically produce financial statements as needed.

Abstract

Assistance and education in the electronic submission of Annual SPT is a Community Service (PKM) activity which is also the goal of community service activities. Based on the results of survey, interview, and analysis, it can be concluded and identified the experience problem by Partners from the STIE Gentiaras were : 1) the lack of understanding of the electronic submission of Annual SPT, 2) limited knowledge of how to resolve if there was a failure in submitting the Annual Tax Return electronically, 3) there were still participants in community service activities, namely Individual Taxpayers who have a TIN with an inactive EFIN. The method used in community service activities held on March 29, 2022, was carried out through several stages, namely 1) preparation stage,  2) the implementation stage,  3) monitoring stage  4) the evaluation stage. The results obtained in this community service activity are as many as 24 participants consisting of teachers and employees of SMP Xaverius 3 Bandar Lampung can know how to fill out and report the Annual Tax Return of Individual Taxpayers and can practice it directly electronically.

Abstract

The fishermen have a very high-risk work. It is prone to accidents. They are related to nature factors and the length of time they go to sea. The existence and use safety equipment in accordance with standards can minimize the risk accidents and injuries, so it can avoid fatal consequences. This community service activity needs to be carried out for counseling or socialization or training regarding materials/messages related to efforts to prevent work accidents due to unsafe acts, especially with protective equipment, safety equipment, and the dangers of joking in the workplace, guidance to traditional fishermen about safety and health, considering that this group is widely available along fishing ports, first aid materials for accidents and lifesaving. This activity descriptive and practice method. Universitas Maritim AMNI carries out this community service activity in the context of preventing fishermen's work accidents to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of fishermen in vigilance and action in dealing with accidents at sea.

Abstract

Plastic waste is a source of problems in landfills because of its large size and difficult to decompose. The high amount of plastic waste is caused by people's dependence on plastic which is also getting bigger. Based on the results of observations made in Sri Menanti Village, Sungailiat, Bangka Regency, information was obtained that plastic waste is one of the wastes that has not been properly optimized. Education is carried out in the form of assistance to KSM managers which emphasizes Government Regulation Number 81 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Waste Infrastructure and Facilities in Handling Household Waste and Waste Similar to Household Waste. In addition to education, socialization is also given about the use of plastic waste into products that have economic value, one of which is ecobricks and handicrafts. The service activities were carried out well and received full support from KSM by following up on the results of the service through the manufacture of ecobricks and handicrafts from plastic waste in the future.

Abstract

This new discovery arose because the dilator is backed by high work efficiency, as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of human labor in carrying out the manual (hand) process. Therefore, a thought emerged to make a special cage for ducks that can control temperature, humidity and feed automatically by using solar panels as an energy source. The method used is solar panels converting energy which is then stored in the battery by the solar charger controller. The battery then supports a load consisting of the main device, namely a 60WP solar panel, 12 7AH VRLA battery, 20A Solar Charger Controller and DC to DC Converter Step Down. This research starts from 08:30 - 15:30. The results of the research on the Solar Power Plant are 19.4 Watts of power, 1.4A current, and 13.87V connections.

Abstract

One of the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic is that all activities are carried out at home, both work and study. This causes muscle and joint pain due to public ignorance about the importance of posture and body position during work and study. The purpose of this article is to determine and evaluate the level of public knowledge about the problems and causes of musculoskeletal disorders that arise during Work from Home (WFH) and School from Home (SFH). This community service method uses a quasi-experimental method by giving pre-test and post-test to assess whether there is an increase in knowledge after being given education through online seminars. From a sample of 108 people, it shows that there is an increase in knowledge about the problems and causes of musculoskeletal disorders that arise during Work from Home (WFH) and School from Home (SFH) during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Cadres are spearheading the success of monitoring the nutritional status of children under-two. Improving the knowledge, attitudes and actions of cadres through training, coaching and mentoring mothers in fulfilling the nutritional intake of under-two using the Nutrition Education Module has an impact on the success of the nutritional status monitoring function. Community service activities (PkM) are aimed at optimizing the role of cadres and families in fulfilling the New Normal Period undernutrition in Riak Siabun Village, Seluma Regency. The target audience is 10 posyandu and KPM cadres and 30 families with children aged 0-24 months. The activity is carried out with the stages of forming family companion cadres, training and coaching, as well as mentoring mothers of baduta. Evaluation of activities is carried out by measuring the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of cadres and mothers of baduta. The activity was carried out in January-November 2021. The data were analyzed by comparing the results of the pre-test and post-test. The results of community service activities showed that there was an increase in the score of knowledge, attitudes, cadres as well as the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of the mother under two for 3 months of mentoring. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average score of knowledge and attitudes before and after the training. The mentoring of 30 mothers of under-two showed an increase in the average score of mother's knowledge and attitudes about the fulfillment of nutrition for under-fives, mother's actions were still the focus of mentoring. Regulations in the form of policies and programs need to be improved to support cadre activities in assisting mothers of children under-two in the village.

Abstract

The existence of waste is a challenge for the people of Wonosari Village. This is due to low public perception and knowledge, limited facilities, and government policy support in the waste management system. Therefore, it is necessary to have a commitment in waste management so that it does not cause environmental problems. Based on Law Number 18 of 2008, waste is the remains of human daily activities and/or natural processes in solid form. In general, waste is divided into three, namely organic/wet waste, inorganic/dry waste, and hazardous waste. The purpose of this Community Service is to improve the skills of students and the community to utilize, maintain and preserve the environment through waste bank management and build networks between students and the community to use waste banks into economic goods that can improve the economy. This service method refers to the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, which is an approach and method that allows the community to jointly analyze life problems in order to formulate real plans and policies. The results of this service are 86% of the public are aware of sorting waste, and 80% of community skills are improved through training. The potential for program sustainability where the community can sort waste properly in order to facilitate the processing process, it is necessary to mobilize waste cadres in the community to understand waste grouping and make people aware of waste care.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic causes everyone have to taking care of theirself and families starts from clean and healthy habit by consume meals and drinks which is rich an antioxidants containing for body immune system maintaining. The syrup was one of consuming drinks which could accommodate that purpose and be economical chance for the people. The step of this coaching was consist of giving material session, make practice for the syrup and then evaluate the knowledge of the respondents by pre-test and post-test checking to measure succeed level of the coaching. The result,after coaching the knowledge of the respondents about Citrus microcarpa Bunge and it’s potency for syrup making was increased.
