Abstract

Arabic language learning in the digital era faces various challenges, such as low learning motivation, limited variety of teaching methods, and the need for more engaging and contextual media. Audiovisual media is a widely used alternative because it can present learning more concretely through a combination of sound, images, and visualizations, thus helping students understand the material more easily. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of audiovisual media based on research trends over the past five years using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data were collected through Google Scholar with the help of Publish or Perish and filtered using inclusion and exclusion criteria to obtain 36 articles eligible for analysis. Each article was reviewed based on the focus of media use, targeted language skills, learning outcomes, and reported challenges. The analysis results show that audiovisual media is effective in increasing motivation, attention, conceptual understanding, vocabulary mastery (mufrodat) and listening skills (maharah istimā’). The most widely used media type is video, followed by YouTube, animation, film, and other social media platforms. However, the use of audiovisual media for speaking (maharah kalām), conversation (muhādatsah), and writing (kitābah) skills remains limited. Challenges that often arise include suboptimal media quality, student reliance on visual materials, limited technological resources, and varying levels of teachers' digital competence. This study recommends improving teachers' abilities in designing simple audiovisual media, integrating them with active learning strategies, and utilizing alternative platforms in environments with limited facilities.

Abstract

Sexual violence against children with disabilities within the family remains a hidden and persistent human rights violation, exacerbated by unequal power relations and the victims’ physical, intellectual, or sensory limitations. This study aims to examine the legal responsibility for sexual violence against children with disabilities in the family environment and to assess the implementation of victims’ rights under Law Number 8 of 2016 on Persons with Disabilities, Law Number 35 of 2014 on Child Protection, and Law Number 12 of 2022 on the Crime of Sexual Violence. Employing normative legal research, this study analyzes statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and relevant secondary legal materials. The findings indicate that although Indonesian law provides a comprehensive framework for criminal liability and victim protection, its implementation remains ineffective due to limited accessibility, insufficient accommodation for persons with disabilities, and weak victim-oriented procedures in the criminal justice process. The study contributes by emphasizing the necessity of disability-sensitive legal mechanisms, particularly in reporting, investigation, and victim recovery, to prevent secondary victimization and ensure substantive justice for children with disabilities.

Abstract

Javanese traditional weddings are an important event for the Javanese people, where many traditional ceremonial processions must be carried out. One of the things carried out by the people of Kandangmas Village is the tradition of throwing chickens on the Belik Gompeng Bridge during wedding ceremonies. This tradition is still carried out from generation to generation to this day without understanding its meaning and purpose. This research was conducted on one of the bridges in Kandangmas Village, Dawe District, Kudus Regency, namely the Belik Gompeng Bridge. This research aims to find out the meaning and purpose of people who still carry out this tradition, as well as looking at it from the perspective of Islamic law according to maslahah murlah. This research is included in the type of field research, where to obtain the data needed by researchers, they go into the field or the actual community. The type of research approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique uses direct observation methods at the scene of the crime, interviews with traditional leaders, religious leaders, community leaders, and employees of the Kandangmas Village Hall. Based on the results of research, the tradition of throwing chickens on bridges is a tradition passed down from ancestors which is still being preserved. At first, chickens were a form of worship to the spirits that inhabited the bridge, but over time the chicken became a symbol of alms. The aim is to ask for safety so that the bride and her entourage will be given safety, good fortune and avoid bad luck.

Abstract

Consumer behavior in the restaurant industry is increasingly shaped by customer satisfaction, sales promotions, and social media, reflecting the significant changes brought about by the rapid development of digital media in marketing strategies. Repeat purchase decisions at The Champlung Restaurant Seminyak are investigated by assessing how social media, sales promotions, and customer satisfaction exert their influence through customer experience as a mediating factor. Data were obtained through structured questionnaires administered to 114 customers who had previously dined at the restaurant, and these data were analyzed using a quantitative explanatory research approach. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. Unlike sales promotion, which fails to show a significant impact, social media is proven to positively and significantly influence repeat purchase decisions. Repeat purchase decisions are significantly affected by customer experience, which in turn is strongly shaped by customer satisfaction. The effects of social media and sales promotion are not mediated by customer experience; instead, customer experience serves as a mediator only in the relationship between customer satisfaction and repeat purchase decisions. These findings suggest that repeat purchase behavior in the restaurant sector is more strongly driven by satisfaction and memorable dining experiences than by short-term promotional incentives.

Abstract

Organizational effectiveness is heavily influenced by employee performance, especially in state-owned businesses that focus on providing services. However, achieving optimal performance may be hampered by employee variances in job quality and discipline. The purpose of this study is to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of work quality and work discipline on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Ciracas. This study used a survey method and a quantitative associative methodology. A census was employed as the sample method, and the population comprised all 54 UP3 Ciracas personnel. With the use of SPSS version 26, data were gathered using structured questionnaires and subjected to multiple linear regression analysis. The findings show that employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by job quality, indicating a considerable contribution to performance enhancement. Employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by work discipline as well. Employee performance is strongly impacted by both work quality and work discipline at the same time, suggesting that both factors are strategically important for improving work outcomes. These results imply that maintaining employee discipline and enhancing work quality are crucial managerial initiatives to raise employee performance inside the company.

Abstract

This study examines PT. PLN (Persero) customer satisfaction concerns that are still impacted by inconsistent service quality, unfulfilled consumer expectations, and varying degrees of trust. The purpose of the study is to examine how customer happiness is impacted by service quality, customer expectations, and trust, both separately and collectively. Descriptive and associative design were used in a quantitative approach. 10,378 PT. PLN (Persero) clients made up the population, and the Slovin algorithm was used to select a sample of 100 responses. Structured questionnaires and observations were used to gather the data, which were then subjected to multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 24 with the use of traditional assumption testing. The findings show that customer happiness is significantly impacted by service quality, customer expectations, and trust. Simultaneously, these three variables contribute meaningfully to explaining variations in customer satisfaction, although other factors beyond the research model also play a role. The findings highlight the importance of improving service consistency, aligning services with customer expectations, and strengthening customer trust to enhance overall satisfaction. This study provides empirical evidence that can support managerial decision-making in improving service performance at PT. PLN (Persero).

Abstract

Employee performance is a critical factor in achieving organizational effectiveness, particularly in public service institutions. In practice, variations in employee performance are often associated with differences in work motivation and work experience. This study aims to examine both the partial and simultaneous effects of work motivation and work experience on employee performance at PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Ciracas. The research employed a quantitative approach with descriptive and associative methods. A saturated sampling technique was applied, involving all 55 employees as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results show that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that higher motivation contributes to better work outcomes. Work experience also demonstrates a positive and significant influence on employee performance, reflecting the importance of accumulated skills and knowledge in improving job effectiveness. Simultaneously, work motivation and work experience significantly affect employee performance, with a strong coefficient of determination, indicating that both variables jointly explain a substantial proportion of performance variation. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening motivational programs and optimizing employee experience to enhance organizational performance.

Abstract

The persistence of unresolved gross human rights violations in Indonesia reflects a deeper structural problem within the constitutional system, where legal accountability mechanisms remain weak and vulnerable to political intervention. This condition has enabled the emergence and consolidation of a politics of impunity, further reinforced by state-sponsored symbolic practices that normalize authoritarian legacies and erode public demands for justice. This study aims to analyze how the politics of impunity is formed and reproduced within Indonesia’s constitutional framework and to examine the role of symbolic state practices in sustaining the stagnation of constitutional accountability for gross human rights violations. Methodologically, this research employs a normative juridical type of research using constitutional law and socio-legal approaches. The unit of analysis includes constitutional norms, statutory regulations, judicial decisions, state policies, and symbolic practices related to human rights accountability. The study utilizes secondary data obtained through documentary and literature-based research, including legislation, court rulings, official state narratives, academic writings, and reports from human rights institutions. Data are analyzed through qualitative normative analysis, complemented by critical discourse analysis to assess the interaction between legal structures and symbolic narratives. The findings reveal that impunity is reproduced through stalled legal processes, weak institutional independence of human rights bodies, and the dominance of political calculations in state decision-making. Additionally, symbolic practices such as the legitimization of authoritarian figures contribute to the preservation of impunity by obscuring collective memory, reducing the urgency of accountability, and weakening constitutionalism in Indonesia’s democratic order.

Abstract

Legal protection of working hours and rest periods is part of the normative rights of workers, guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and labor laws and regulations. This study aims to analyze the implementation of legal protection of working hours and rest periods for workers in Bandar Lampung City, as well as to identify the factors hindering it following the enactment of Government Regulation Number 35 of 2021. This research uses a qualitative approach, employing a normative juridical legal research method with a statutory approach, supported by empirical data obtained through interviews with labor unions and the Bandar Lampung City Manpower Office. The results show that legal protection of working hours and rest periods has not been fully implemented optimally. Violations were still found regarding overtime hours, fulfillment of rest periods, and the provision of food and drinks for workers during overtime. The main obstacles include weak supervision, limited dissemination of regulations, an imbalance in bargaining positions between workers and employers, and the economic conditions of workers. Strengthening supervision and fostering synergy among stakeholders are necessary to ensure effective legal protection.
