Abstract

Corporate crises, such as organizational restructuring and management changes, often create psychological pressure that challenges employees’ ability to adapt and remain productive. One important psychological capacity in this context is resilience. Mindfulness has been widely discussed as a potential factor that supports individuals in managing stress and adversity. This study aims to examine the role of mindfulness in predicting employee resilience during a corporate crisis. A quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional survey approach was employed. Data were collected from employees of Company X using the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-25). Simple linear regression analysis was conducted to test the proposed hypothesis. The results indicate that mindfulness has a positive and statistically significant effect on resilience (p = 0.01). However, the contribution of mindfulness to resilience is relatively modest, accounting for 4.8% of the variance. These findings suggest that while mindfulness plays a meaningful role in enhancing employee resilience during crisis situations, resilience is also influenced by other organizational and individual factors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the failure of the Regent of South Central Timor to implement the decision of the Surabaya Administrative High Court regarding the postponement of the Bileon Village Head election, despite the decision having permanent legal force. This action contradicts the rule of law principle stipulated in Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution, which requires all government actions to be based on law. The study aims to analyze the legal considerations of the Regent in issuing Decree Number 13/KEP/HK/2022 on the election postponement, examine the legal reasoning of the Administrative High Court judges, and assess the effectiveness of enforcing administrative court decisions in ensuring legal certainty and administrative justice. The research employs a normative juridical approach using statutory and case approaches, with descriptive qualitative analysis based on primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that the Regent’s decree lacks a valid legal basis and violates Law Number 30 of 2014 on Government Administration and Law Number 6 of 2014 on Villages, breaching principles of good governance, particularly legal certainty, proportionality, and justice. The court determined that the Regent’s action constituted abuse of authority. The failure to implement the decision highlights weaknesses in administrative court enforcement mechanisms, emphasizing the need for stricter regulations and sanctions for public officials who disregard court rulings to ensure compliance and uphold legal certainty.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media use among adolescents has become a significant phenomenon that influences psychological development, particularly self-esteem. Adolescents often publicize themselves through photos and personal content on social media platforms, which can trigger social comparison. Such comparisons may positively or negatively affect self-esteem, leading individuals to feel more confident, inferior, or even jealous. This study aims to explore how social media use is associated with adolescent self-esteem through a narrative literature review. The review focuses on quantitative research articles published between 2019 and 2023 that examine self-esteem among adolescent social media users. A total of 255 articles were identified, of which 10 met the inclusion criteria and were selected for analysis. The selected articles were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns, similarities, and differences in research findings. The results indicate that social media use can lead to both high and low self-esteem among adolescents. High self-esteem is often associated with social recognition, positive feedback, and personal achievements displayed on social media. Conversely, low self-esteem may arise from negative social comparison and unmet expectations. These findings highlight that adolescence is a critical developmental period in which social media plays a substantial role in shaping self-esteem. Understanding these factors is essential for promoting healthier social media use among adolescents.

Abstract

Female workers play a strategic role across various industrial sectors in Indonesia and significantly contribute to productivity and corporate development. Nevertheless, they remain vulnerable to discrimination and criminal acts due to biological, social, and structural factors that persist within society and the workplace. Previous labor regulations revealed substantial gaps in protecting female workers, particularly regarding night work, sexual violence, and reproductive health rights. The Job Creation Law (Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja/UUCK) was enacted to address these deficiencies and to strengthen legal protection for female workers. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the UUCK in safeguarding female workers from discrimination and violence, as well as its capacity to shape a corporate culture that upholds workers’ rights. The research employs an interdisciplinary approach that integrates legal studies and sociology to provide a comprehensive analysis. It is analytical in nature and applies a normative legal research method based on a literature review. The data used are secondary data, consisting of primary legal materials such as the 1945 Constitution and labor-related laws, secondary materials including scholarly writings and scientific journals, and tertiary materials such as legal dictionaries and online sources. The analysis is conducted through statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The findings indicate that, despite regulatory improvements, workplace sexual violence remains largely underreported due to stigma and inadequate protection mechanisms. Therefore, the study emphasizes the need to incorporate empirical data and female workers’ perspectives in evaluating the UUCK as a tool of social engineering to create a safe, fair, and equitable working environment.

Abstract

Job stress and leadership perception are critical factors influencing employees’ psychological well-being, particularly in the manufacturing sector characterized by high work demands. The main problem addressed in this study is how job stress and employees’ perceptions of leadership are related to psychological well-being among employees at PT X Cimahi. This study aims to analyze the relationship between job stress, leadership perception, and employees’ psychological well-being. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 employees of PT X Cimahi selected using purposive sampling. Descriptive analysis and Spearman’s Rho correlation were applied due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The results reveal a very strong and significant positive relationship between job stress and psychological well-being, indicating that job stress in this context functions as eustress rather than distress. In addition, a weak but significant negative relationship was found between leadership perception and psychological well-being. These findings suggest that job characteristics and production demands play a more dominant role in shaping employees’ psychological well-being than leadership perception alone within the manufacturing work environment.

Abstract

This study examines criminal liability for corruption committed by public officials after job mutation, with particular attention to the application of causality theory in Supreme Court Decision Number 8681 K/Pid.Sus/2025. The legal issue arises from the temporal gap between administrative actions taken during the defendant’s tenure and the emergence of state losses after the official no longer held the relevant position. This situation raises questions regarding the limits of criminal responsibility and the existence of a legally relevant causal link. The research aims to analyze how the Supreme Court constructed criminal liability and applied causality theory in determining responsibility under such circumstances. Using a normative juridical method with statutory, case, and conceptual approaches, this study analyzes legislation, judicial decisions, and doctrinal theories on criminal liability and causation. The findings show that the defendant’s administrative recommendation, issued lawfully during his tenure, did not have a direct and adequate causal relationship with the unlawful land sale conducted by third parties several years later. The emergence of an intervening cause and the loss of control after job mutation indicate a break in the chain of causation. This study concludes that the application of causality theory in corruption cases must be proportional and consistent with the principles of tempus delicti, individual criminal responsibility, and legal certainty.

Abstract

The online food delivery (OFD) industry in Indonesia is experiencing increasing profitability pressure driven by intense competition, low consumer switching costs, and rising incentive and logistics expenses. These conditions require platforms to shift their strategic focus from aggressive expansion toward sustainable profitability. This study aims to examine GoFood’s strategic position in responding to such pressures and to formulate relevant strategic directions in a maturing market. A case study approach based on desk research was employed, utilizing secondary data analyzed through the PESTEL framework, Porter’s Five Forces, and the VRIO model, which were subsequently synthesized using a SWOT/TOWS matrix. The findings indicate that the OFD industry is characterized by high competitive rivalry and strong buyer power, causing promotion-heavy strategies to exert downward pressure on margins. Internally, GoFood benefits from ecosystem scale, multi-sided orchestration capabilities, data-driven technology, and strong brand equity, while still facing challenges related to service quality variability. The study highlights that service reliability differentiation and the expansion of non-incentive monetization, such as advertising and merchant solutions, are critical strategies for balancing growth and profitability. Academically, this research contributes to the literature on digital platform strategy by providing empirical insights from the OFD sector in an emerging market context.

Abstract

Despite the amendment of the minimum legal age for marriage under Law Number 16 of 2019, applications for marriage dispensation involving minors remain prevalent in various regions of Indonesia, including Bojonegoro Regency. This condition raises concerns regarding the effectiveness of child protection within judicial practices, particularly in the interpretation of “urgent circumstances” by religious courts. This study aims to analyze the implementation of child legal protection in marriage dispensation cases decided by the Bojonegoro Religious Court during the 2020-2025 period. The research employs a juridical-normative approach with a case-based analysis of court decisions, supported by statutory and doctrinal legal materials. The analysis is framed using Lawrence M. Friedman’s legal system theory to examine the interaction between legal substance, legal structure, and legal culture in judicial reasoning. The findings reveal that although normative regulations concerning marriage age and child protection are formally adequate, judicial practice tends to apply a broad interpretation of urgent circumstances, resulting in the frequent granting of dispensations. This approach indicates that legal culture and social considerations significantly influence judicial discretion, often outweighing the legislative objective of preventing child marriage. Consequently, the effectiveness of child protection through age limitation is highly dependent on the consistency of judicial interpretation in applying the principle of the best interests of the child.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of economic policies on access to healthcare services in Indonesia, with particular attention to fiscal, monetary, and social policies amid persistent disparities between urban and rural areas. Despite the implementation of various economic measures, including the National Health Insurance program (JKN), unequal distribution of health facilities and economic instability remain major challenges in achieving equitable healthcare access. The study aims to analyze how economic policies shape healthcare accessibility and to identify key constraints affecting service equity. A qualitative research approach was employed through in-depth interviews with government officials, healthcare workers, and community members, complemented by policy document analysis related to health financing and social protection. The data were analyzed thematically to capture patterns in policy implementation and its impacts on healthcare access. The findings indicate that while JKN has expanded population coverage, disparities in service quality and facility availability persist, particularly in remote and rural regions. In addition, uneven fiscal allocation and macroeconomic pressures such as inflation and interest rate fluctuations reduce household purchasing power and limit effective utilization of healthcare services. The study concludes that more inclusive and regionally balanced economic policies are essential to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, improve service quality, and ensure equitable access to healthcare across Indonesia.
