Abstract

Safety is a fundamental principle that cannot be compromised in air navigation services, as it represents the highest priority in every operational aspect. Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) play a crucial role in preventing aircraft collisions, avoiding obstacles, and ensuring overall operational safety. Therefore, the proper execution of ATC duties in accordance with standard procedures is essential. This study aims to analyze the effect of duty briefing on aviation safety services at Perum LPPNPI Palembang Branch. A quantitative research method was employed, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed to ATC personnel. The research sample consisted of 50 respondents, and the data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 26. Instrument testing showed that all questionnaire items were valid and reliable. The analysis results indicate a positive and significant relationship between duty briefing and aviation safety services, with duty briefing contributing substantially to the improvement of safety performance.

Abstract

Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) bear critical responsibility for ensuring aviation safety, efficiency, and orderly air traffic operations. One essential competency required of ATCs is English communication proficiency in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) English Language Proficiency (IELP) standard, with a minimum requirement of Level 4. At Palembang Aviation Polytechnic, IELP test result management is still conducted manually, relying on written documents and audio recordings stored on personal devices, which poses risks of data loss, duplication, and limited accessibility. This study aims to design a web-based application for the inventory management of IELP test results as a digital solution to support centralized, secure, and easily accessible data management for IELP raters. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation, and user evaluation.

Abstract

The provision of air traffic services requires Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) to possess high levels of competence, particularly in mastering procedures, operating equipment, and making fast and accurate decisions. To maintain these competency standards, AirNav Indonesia implements various training programs, including Computer-Based Training (CBT). However, at Palembang Radar Service, a key issue remains the absence of clearly structured, comprehensive, and operationally specific CBT modules tailored to local radar operations. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Computer-Based Training (CBT) program on air traffic services at Palembang Radar Service. The research employed a descriptive-associative quantitative approach, using numerical data to examine the relationship between variables through statistical analysis. Data were collected from active ATC personnel using structured questionnaires and analyzed using correlation and hypothesis testing methods.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of key financial ratios, namely Capital Adequacy Ratio, Return on Assets, and Non-Performing Loans, along with the moderating role of interest rates on the operational efficiency of Regional Development Banks in Indonesia, measured by the Cost-to-Income Ratio (CIR). A quantitative approach is employed using panel data from 2020–2024, with model selection indicating the Random Effects Model as the most appropriate specification, complemented by Moderated Regression Analysis to capture interaction effects. The results show that Return on Assets has a negative and significant effect on CIR, confirming that profitability plays a central role in enhancing efficiency. In contrast, Capital Adequacy Ratio and Non-Performing Loans do not exhibit strong partial effects, although interest rates significantly moderate their relationships with efficiency. Simultaneous testing confirms that internal financial factors jointly influence operational efficiency. These findings suggest that efficiency is shaped not only by internal performance but also by its interaction with monetary conditions. The study provides implications for improving capital allocation, profitability management, and adaptive risk strategies to sustain efficiency.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing use of PayLater services among university students, which may encourage hedonistic lifestyles and consumptive behavior. The objective of this research is to analyze how PayLater usage contributes to students' hedonistic lifestyles. This study employs a qualitative approach with an exploratory research design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that PayLater is mainly used for secondary needs and lifestyle purposes, such as fashion shopping, entertainment, and following social trends. Key factors influencing its use include ease of access, social environment, and the desire for instant gratification.
