Abstract

ABSTRACTVarious interesting activities and facilities have been carried out at RSHP IPB, but these activities have not been packaged and disseminated attractively resulting in a lack of information received by the society. Companies can disseminate information moreinteresting and easy to understand to the target according to the goals to be achieved by implementing multimedia. Animal Hospital for Education of IPB uses video and motion graphic as a promotional forum to introduce RSHP IPB and expand the information the public will receive. The methods used in the manufacture of company profile video and multimedia product are briefing, idea construction, audiens target, device application determining, reference process, revision and publication.The result of this projects are a company profile video and multimedia product such as motion graphic.This products were shared at RSHP IPB’s Social Media.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the appication of cinnamon leaf flour in feeding to the meat quality of vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). The concentrations of cinnamon leaf flour given were 0%, 0,5%, 1,0% and 1,5%. The vannamei shrimp used had an average weight of 10,06 ± 0,15 g/tail which was kept in an aquarium for 60 days. The quality test result showed that on 1,5% treatment, the shrimp meat had the lowest fat content on 1,46% and the highest HDL content on 96,75%. The results of organoleptic test on the quality of shrimp meat showed no difference in aroma, color, taste and texture that could be detected by the panelists (p>0,05). The average responses were: aroma 4,43, 4,31, 4,45; color 4,67, 4,67, 4,60; texture 4,52, 4,67, 4,52 and taste 4,48, 4,38, 4,52. From the results of the organoleptic test, all parameters showed a number above 4, where the value of 4 indicated that tested parameters were as good as the control (0%).

Abstract

ABSTRACTPT Sagara Asia Technology or better known as Sagara Technology is a company engaged in technology consulting and digital products. Sagara Technology manufactures and provides premium software development, training and talent products. The work done at Sagara Technology focuses on developing website technology and mobile applications. Investment is an option for many groups of people to invest in a company because investment promises long-term benefits. Therefore, PT Lunaria Annua Teknologi decided to create a Bond Coin application to reach all groups of people who want to invest and can take advantage of investment returns according to their wishes.The methodology used during the creation of this application is Scrum. Scrum is used as a framework because this methodology is suitable for small teams, clear application specifications and Scrum allows iteration and incremental of a product requirement that will be found during product development. Bond coins make it easier for investors to conduct checks on Government Securities purchased, including transparency, security and efficiency in transactions.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the potential of cherry leaf extract as natural sanitizer agent for Alabio eggshell in hatching process. A number of 533 of Alabio hatching eggs were used in this study. Hatching eggs produced from College of Vacational Studies IPB University, were collected three times a day. Three hundred thirty-three hatching eggs were divided into five treatment groups. The first group was considered as control, the second was dipping into commercial disinfection, and the third and the fifth gruop were dipping into cherry leaf extract 250 ppm, 500 ppm, and 750 ppm respectively. The results showed cherry leaf extract has secondary metabolite compounds : alkaloids, flavonoids and tannins. All of these secondary metabolite compounds have a role as antibacterial agent. cherry leaf extract 750 ppm shows the same potential as commercial disinfectants in reducing the microbial population in eggshells. The dipping treatment of 750 ppm cherry leaf extract in alabio duck hatching eggs resulted in the lowest embryo mortality rate compared to other treatments (9.3%). Abstract

Peternakan sapi perah di Indonesia memiliki potensi besar untuk berkembang dan dikembangkan. Meskipun demikian, peternakan sapi perah di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan terutama dalam meningkatkan performa reproduksi dan produksi. Peran penting unit pelaksana teknis perlu diperkuat untuk dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan performa peternakan di Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari dan mengidentifikasi profil performa reproduksi dan produksi serta faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan performa di BPPIB-TSP Bunikasih. Penelitian dilakukan di BPPIB-TSP Bunikasih dari 13 Januari hingga 3 April 2020 dengan mengumpulkan data primer maupun sekunder, antara lain data populasi, pemberian pakan, produksi (kualitas dan kuantitas), dan reproduksi. Data-data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa performa reproduksi dan produksi di lokasi penelitian ini masih perlu ditingkatkan. Beberapa peubah sudah sesuai dengan yang telah ditargetkan, namun beberapa peubah masih perlu ditingkatkan seperti jarak partus ke IB I, conception rate, days open dan calving interval. Faktor-faktor penting yang berkaitan untuk meningkatkan performa antara lain pemberian pakan (kuantitas, kualitas, dan imbangan), manajemen pemeliharaan, kesehatan ternak, dan aspek teknis lainnya. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya perbaikan faktor-faktor tersebut dalam rangka meningkatkan performa reproduksi dan produksi sapi perah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine consumer attitudes towards the attributes of fresh chicken meat and frozen chicken meat and to analyze the factors that influence consumers in purchasing decisions for fresh chicken meat and frozen chicken meat in the city of Bogor in the new normal era. This research was conducted in October-Desember 2020. Data obtained from 250 respondents who usually buy broiler chicken meat and is divided into several areas namely modern market, traditional market, and chicken selling places around the city of Bogor. The sample of respondents in the study was chosen purposively and the data collection technique used a survey method through direct interviews based on the questions contained in the questionnaire. The data were analyzed with descriptive analysis and Fishbein models. The result of the study concluded that: 1) Broiler meat consumers were mostly female of adult age and married, has the last education of senior high school, works as a housewife and has an income of less than IDR 1.000.000. 2) All broiler meat consumers carry out all stages of purchasing decisions. 3) The factors that influence the purchase of broiler chicken meat with the highest average score (4.42) are based on health factors. 4) Based on the Fishbein model, the highest average value (Ao) is found in fresh meat products, which means that respondents in the city of Bogor in the new normal era prefer fresh chicken meat products to frozen chicken meat products.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBawang dayak are native to the American continent, but have long entered the Asian continent. Merril in 1912 identified bawang dayak in the Philippines as Eleutherine palmifolia L. Merr. which is a synonym for Sisyrinchium palmifolium L. Scientific evidence of the efficacy of bawang dayak in overcoming diabetes has been published since 2011. Several scientific publications have also shown the positive effect of bawang dayak in modulating the immune system, among others, through anti-inflammatory activity. The anti-diabetic and immunomodulatory properties possessed make bawang dayak herbs have the potential to be developed into a health drink that is useful in controlling blood sugar and helping to maintain the immune system of diabetics, especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, bawang dayak boiled water has an unpleasant taste character with the distinctive odor of grass so it is necessary to formulate with other herbs that can increase consumer acceptance of the taste and flavor. In previous research, we have developed a functional drink based on bawang dayak herbs, but it is still necessary to improve the product formulation to get the preferred taste but still have high antioxidant properties, safe for consumption, and easy to obtain. This study aims to obtain the formulation of herbal compositions in bawang dayak anti-diabetic functional drinks which have high antioxidant properties and taste that consumers prefer. The formulation of bawang dayak with extracts of lemongrass, ginger and tamarind proved to be organoleptically preferred by panelists and has antioxidant activity equivalent to 44 ppm of ascorbic acid (44 ppm AEAC).Key words : antioxidant, bawang dayak, Eleutherine palmifolia, functional drink. ABSTRAKBawang dayak merupakan tanaman asli benua Amerika, namun sudah sejak lama masuk ke benua Asia. Merril di tahun 1912 mengidentifikasi bawang dayak di Filipina dengan nama Eleutherine palmifolia L. Merr yang merupakan sinonim dari Sisyrinchium palmifolium L. Pembuktian ilmiah tentang khasiat bawang dayak dalam mengatasi penyakit diabetes telah mulai dipublikasikan sejak tahun 2011. Beberapa publikasi ilmiah juga memperlihatkan pengaruh positif umbi bawang dayak dalam memodulasi sistem imun, antara lain melalui aktivitas anti inflamasi. Khasiat antidiabetes dan imunomodulator yang dimiliki bawang dayak menjadikan herbal bawang dayak memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi minuman kesehatan yang bermanfaat dalam mengontrol gula darah dan membantu menjaga daya tahan tubuh penderita diabetes, khususnya di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Namun, air rebusan bawang dayak memiliki karakter rasa yang sepat dengan aroma langu khas rerumputan sehingga diperlukan formulasi ekstrak bawang dayak dengan herbal lain yang dapat meningkatkan penerimaan konsumen terhadap rasa dan aromanya. Pada penelitian terdahulu kami telah mengembangkan formula minuman fungsional antidiabetes bawang dayak, namun masih diperlukan penyempurnaan formulasi produk dan bentuk sajiannya untuk mendapatkan cita rasa yang lebih disukai Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan formulasi komposisi herbal dalam minuman fungsional antidiabetik bawang dayak yang memiliki khasiat antioksidan yang tinggi dan rasa yang disukai konsumen. Formulasi bawang dayak dengan ekstrak sereh dapur dan ekstrak jahe yang ditambahkan dengan asam jawa dan pemanis stevia terbukti secara organoleptik disukai oleh panelis dan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan sebesar 44 ppm AEAC.Kata kunci : antioksidan, bawang dayak, Eleutherine palmifolia, minuman fungsional

Abstract

ABSTRAKKota Palembang memiliki keanekaragaman sumberdaya budaya. Kesenian merupakan salah satu unsur budaya yang mencerminkan ciri khas suatu daerah asal kesenian. Kerajinan tangan merupakan salah satu kesenian Kota Palembang yang berpotensi sebagai daya tarik wisata. Ekowisata kerajinan tangan memiliki pengaruh dalam melestarikan produk kerajinan, meningkatkan perekonomian dan mensejahterakan para pengrajin tradisional di Kota Palembang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menginventarisasi dan mengindentifikasi sumberdaya kerajinan tangan di kota Palembang agar dapat dijadikan objek dalam rancangan program ekowisata di Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur, wawancara, observasi langsung dan penyebaran kuisioner. Sumber daya wisata kerajinan tangan yang diinventarisasi terbagi menjadi dua klasifikasi yaitu kerajinan bahan keras dan bahan lunak. Terdapat empat kerajinan tangan di Kota Palembang yaitu terdiri dari satu kerajinan bahan keras dan tiga kerajinan bahan lunak. Sumber daya kerajinan tangan dianalis berdasarkan tujuh indikator penilaian Avenzora (2008) untuk mendapatkan hasil penilaian potensi sumber daya kerajinan tangan unggulan. Potensi kerajinan unggulan di Kota Palembang yaitu kerajinan Laker, Kain Songket, Kain Jumputan dan Ukir Kayu. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi menunjukkan bahwa stakeholders setuju dan siap jika kerajinan tangan kota Palembang dimasukan ke dalam objek program ekowisata. Program Ekowisata dirancang dengan konsep eksplorasi kerajinan tangan yang melibatkan interaksi antara wisatawan dengan para pengrajin. Adanya program ekowisata kerajinan tangan ini diharapkan dapat merangsang pertumbuhan ekonomi kawasan dengan kapasitas masyarakat untuk mengelola sumberdaya. ABSTRACTPalembang City has the diversities of cultural resources. Art is the cultural element that reflects the characteristics of an area. The Handicraft is one of Palembang City's arts which has the potential as a tourist attraction. Handicraft ecotourism has the influences in preserving the handicraft products, improving the economy, and the welfare of traditional craftsmen in Palembang City. This research purpose is to inventory and identify the handicraft resources in Palembang city so that they can be used as objects in the ecotourism program design in Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The method used is literature study, interview, direct observation, and the questionnaire distribution. The handicraft tourism resources that are inventoried are divided into two classifications, namely the handicrafts with hard materials and soft materials. There are four handicrafts in Palembang City, consisting of one hard material handcraft and three soft material handicrafts. The handicraft resources were analyzed based on the seven assessment indicators from Avenzora (2008) to get the results of the superior handicraft resources potential assessment. The superior handicrafts potentials in Palembang are Laker, Songket, Jumputan, and the wood carving. Based on the identification results, it shows that the Stakeholders agree and are ready if Palembang handicrafts are included in the ecotourism program object. The Ecotourism program is designed with the handicraft exploration concept that involves interaction between the tourists and the craftsmen. The handicraft ecotourism program is expected to stimulate regional economic growth through the resource arranged by the community.

Abstract

ABSTRACTLemon fish Algae Eater is one of the aquarium fish which is well-known as Algae Eater. The Lemon Algae Eater is placed in a pond measuring 2 m x 3 m x 0.8 m, with a water height of 50 cm. For optimum health, feed the Algae Eater with Feng Li pellets by having a restricted feeding method or this can also be limited to 5% from the brood fish weight. The semi-natural hatchery of Lemon fish Algae Eater is needed. An aquarium (100cm x 60 cm x 50 cm) with a water height of 30 cm is needed for the hatchery of Lemon fish Algae Eater eggs. The average fecundity of Lemon fish Algae Eater eggs produced in 1 spawning can reache up to 84 742 eggs with the average of Fertilization Rate is 79%, the Hatching Rate is 83%, and the Survival Rate is 74%. The Lemon Algae Eater eggs will hatch in 10-12 hours. Fish nursery of lemon fish algae eater is used pond measures 3 m x 2 m x 1.5 m. The freshly hatched larvae are harvested at the age of 30 days and 45 days with a size of 1.2-1.5 cm/fish and 2.5-3 cm/fish. ABSTRAKLemon algae eater merupakan salah satu ikan aquarium yang dikenal sebagai pemakan alga. Pemeliharaan ikan lemon algae eater dilakukan pada bak beton yang berukuran 2 m x 3 m x 0.8 m, dengan tinggi air 50 cm. Pakan yang diberikan berupa pelet feng li dengan metode pemberian pakan restricted atau metode dibatasi dengan 5% dari bobot induk. Pemijahaan induk ikan lemon algae eater dilakukan secara semi alami. Wadah penetasan telur ikan lemon algae eater menggunakan akuarium ukuran 100 cm x 60 cm x 50 cm dengan tinggi air 30 cm. Rata-rata fekunditas telur ikan lemon algae eater yang dihasilkan dalam 1 kali pemijahan mencapai 84 742 butir telur dengan memiliki nilai rata-rata Fertilization Rate sebesar 79%, Hatching Rate sebesar 83%, dan Survival Rate sebesar 74%. Telor ikan lemon algae eater akan menetas dalam waktu 10-12 jam. Kegiatan pendederan ikan lemon algae eater menggunakan wadah bak beton yang berukuran 3 m x 2 m x 1.5 m. Benih yang dipanen berumur 30 hari dan 45 hari dengan ukuran 1.2 -1.5 cm/ekor dan 2.5 - 3 cm/ekor.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe method of extraction and the type of solvent used during extraction will influence effectiveness of the extraction and compound extracted. The aim of this research was determined the effect of extraction methode and solvent polarity on total phenolic content of cherry leaves (Muntingia calabura L). Extraction of cherry leaves used maceration and soxhelation methods with ethanol and chloroform as solvents. The total phenolic contain was determined by visible spechtrophotometer at 765 nm. It has been showed that the soxhletation method was a higher yield value than the maceration methods with the highest yield value showed by ethanol extract, it was 13,29% w/w. Otherwise maceration method showed a higher total phenolic contain with the highest total phenolic contain showed by ethanol extract, it was 10,70% GAE.
