The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the level of accidents and the main factors that have been the source of motorized-vehicle traffic accidents in the city of Namrole. The research method used was semi-quantitative analysis, that was the failure mode effect analysis method to analyze the data obtained. This type of research is a descriptive study consisting of: Field Studies and Literature Studies. Research results from the results of brainstorming can be seen that there are several types of causes of traffic accidents, the factors are man, machine, systems, and surroundings.

The Indonesian Navy materials’ sub unit is one of the main commands (KOTAMA) of the Indonesian Navy with the slogan “Jalesu Bhumyamca Jayamahe” which means “we are victorious in the sea and in the land.” The aim of the study is to analyse the effect of the materials sub unit employees’ professionalism to the logistics’ service quality in 2017. The method used was field and library research. The study used simple linear regression, coefficient correlation, coefficient determination, and hypothesis testing to analyse the data. The result shows that there is a significant effect between employees’ professionalism to the logistics’ service quality shown by the simple linear regression of Y=34,540 + 0.87 X. Based on the coefficient determination, there are some factors affect the service quality which are employees’ professionalism (90,25%) and facilities at work, discipline, work effective (9.75 %). The hypothesis also proves that t-count is more than t-table which Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It concludes that there is significant relation between both factors.

This study is aimed at finding out the effect of cargo supervision to the accident rate of KM. Madani Nusantara (Ro-ro/Passanger ship) route Balikpapan – Makassar – Pare-pare. The data analyses are regression, correlation, determinant coefficient and hypothesis test. The result showed that there is an effect of cargo supervision to the accident rate that can be proved using simple linear regression (Y = 7.45 + 0.79X). It means that each increasing point of variable X (cargo supervision) will affect variable Y (accident rate) which is 0.79 in 7.45 constants. Based on correlation analysis, r = 0.93 or +1 shows that there is a positive effect of cargo supervision to the accident rate. The determinant coefficient is 86.49 % proves that accident rate is most affected by cargo supervision while the rest (13.51 %) come from other factors such as cargo shipping documents and crew ship documents. The last result from hypothesis test is t count > t table or 36.43 > 1.701 which means there is a significant impact of cargo supervision to the accident rate of Ro-ro KM. Madani Nusantara.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the relation between idle time and performance of containers’ loading and unloading activities at South Pier of Terminal II Tanjung Priok Port in 2016. Located in North Jakarta, Tanjung Priok Port is the busiest port in Indonesia. This port deals with more than 30% of Indonesia's non-oil and gas commodities, and about 50% of all goods flow in and out of Indonesia through this port. Therefore, Tanjung Priok Port becomes an economic barometer of Indonesia.. To solve the problems, researchers used 2 methods; they were field data method (field research) and data library (library research). Simple linear regressionanalysis used t-test with consideration and determination. The result of this research shows that there is a strong relationship between idle time and performance of containers’ loading and unloadingactivities , (Y = 7,775 + 0,496X). The result value of r is 77.4% which means there is a strong and positive relationship between idle time variable and containers’ loading and unloading performance. The determinant coefficient of R² is 59.8%, and other determinant is about 40.2%.

PT. DHL Global Forwarding is a freight forwarder company, which is engaged in freight forwarding, logistics and deliver exported and imported goods. The problem in this research is the influence of the data repair (redress) to the on-time clearance at PT. DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia in 2015. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of the data repair (redress) to the clearance on time. To solve this problem, the authors use qualitative methods of Logical Framework Approach (LFA). Authors collected data through observation and interviews to 5 employees as a sampel. By using the LFA analysis, showed that the improvement of data (redress) greatly affect on-time clearance, due to the improvement of data (redress) indicates that the data are subject to rejection or reject so it takes 1-5 days to process correction means exceeds Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

The purpose of the study is to analyze the ship agency performance towards the clearance of livestock ship at PT Serasi Shipping Indonesia. The methods used in the data analysis were simple linear regression and hypothesis testing method. The result of the analysis shows that there is a correlation between the ship agencies towards the clearance of livestock ship. Y= 9,800+0.407X. Based on the t-test analysis, in order to analyze the effect of the whole variables X to variables Y simultaneously, the result is 6,640. Therefore, t count > t table which is 6,640 > 1,701, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. As a result, there is a simple but strong and positive correlation between the performance of ship agencies towards clearance livestock ships with KP of 61.2%.

This study is to identify and explain how the influence of Integrated Marketing Communications consists of Advertising, Sales Promotion, Personal Selling, Public Relations, and Direct Marketing, together and partially through Brand Awareness can influence the students to choose their universities. The method of the study is explanatory research which is using questionnaires as the research instruments distributed to169 respondents who are students of STMT Trisakti 6 Semester. Their area of high school is in East Jakarta before entering STMT. The results showed that variables of Integrated Marketing Communications like Advertising, Sales Promotion, Personal Selling, Public Relations and Direct Marketing, all together influence the brand awareness. Only Public Relations had asignificant effect on Brand Awareness.

PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (IPC) was born as a follow up of Law No.21 of 1992 regarding port business entity. PT. Pelindo II is one of the state-owned enterprises in the transportation sector engaged in the management and exploitation of public ports. The research objective is to find out how big the influence of quay container crane utilization and productivity of loading and unloading to effectiveness of container vessel. Analysis method used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, determinant coefficient and hypothesis test (f-test)The result of analysis and discussion between quay container crane utilization and container cargo loading productivity with effective time of container vessel is shown by equation of double linear regression line, that is Y = 10.673 + 0.209X1 - 0.056X2. The value of double correlation R = 0.713, there is a strong and undirectional relationship between independent and dependent variables. Pearson correlation test is worth 0.712, Test coefficient determinant equal to 48% means contribution of X1 and X2 to Y 50.8%, while 49.2% is another factor. From the result of F-test show that F count> F table (4,640> 4,26), hence Ho = rejected and Ha = accepted, there is influence between quay container crane utilization and loading and unloading productivity to effective time of container vessel.

The aim of this study is to determine and analyze the impact of potential market towards shipping cargo volume. The lack of modes of transport cause high cost of shipping goods to the eastern Indonesian region. It forces people in Eastern Indonesian region become consumptive. The potential market in Eastern Indonesian region is very large and still very possible to be explored deeper that could be an opportunity for PT AP Logistik Surabaya to attract the customers. This research used both methods of data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, determinant coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing. The sample was 80 respondents taken from PT AP Logistik Surabaya customer who ship their cargo to Eastern Indonesian region. From the analysis and discussion shows the impact of potential market towards shipping cargo volume which is indicated by a simple linear regression equation is Y = 32,251 + 0.456X, if the Potential Market (X) value is zero (0) or constant, the value of Shipping Cargo Volume (Y) will equal by 32,251. Based on the analysis of the correlation coefficient r = 0,483, meaning that there is influence between (X) and (Y) positive direction and moderate correlation. Determinant coefficient test shows 20.3%, while the remaining is 76.7% which is explained by other variables or factors that is not included in this model. The test result shows that the hypothesis is tscore >ttable (4.8712 > 1.665). Then, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is significant relationship between potential market towards shipping cargo volume.
