Abstract

In Jakarta, the sidewalks for pedestrians, are not only bad but also switched functionally. With that being said, sidewalks and zebra cross have become meaningless. PELANGI, one of the Non-Governmental Organization (LSM) that works dominately on the urban studies, mentioned that 65% of the accident on main roads, sadly involved the death of pedestrians, whereas 35% of the victims are underaged kids. These facts, though, have to be considered as our motivation to work on the sidewalks, making it suitable and comfortable to be walked through (walkable). Being supported and encouraged by the qualitative method and literature, indeed, pedestrians also have the same rights in using the roads.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and to overcome the pilot’s performance discrepancy. It is also aimed to make the performance in accordance with the notice of flight following, to analyze and to optimize the radio HF signal, which is used in flight following and monitoring.  This is a Quantitative Research. The data collection method used Field and Library research. Kartesius analysis was used to measure the conformity of the operational standard procedure towards the flight following implementation. The result of the X variable (Conformity Performance) shows the average computation of the assessment factors of Performance Conformity (X variable).  The standard value achieved is 3.15. The result of the Y variable (Interest Quality) shows the average computation of the assessment factors of Interest Quality (Y variable), which is 3.44. Furthermore, the congruency level of X and Y variables are 91.07%. Therefore, it is concluded that the level of congruency between the conformity performance and the interest has achieved a satisfactory interpretation value.

Abstract

Aim of the research is to review and analyse the impact of changed fares scheme in Commuter Line’s passengers.  The changed fare is based on progressive tariff scheme and increment of the ticket deposit (additional amount of money will be levied on top of the fare to be paid).  The sampling is taken from the densest Bogor to Manggarai service as a main transit hub to the passengers who entering Jakarta. The research is based on associative analysis with the usage of the secondary data.  The secondary data in form of time series data has been collected from PT. KAI COMMUTER JABODETABEK with research period is 1 (one) month before and 1 (one) month after the new changed fares scheme is implemented.  The use of price elasticity of demand (PED) model has been chosen in order to measure the effect of law of demand on the Commuter Line’s passengers.  The result of the research shown that the implementation of a new changed fares scheme has impacted on the number of Commuter Line’s passengers with the price elasticity value is 1.22.  The new changed fares scheme will give significant change in demand and tend to be a perfectly elastic demand that consumers have an infinite ability to switch to alternatives if the price increases.  However, the influence of the new tariff scheme is much higher compare to increment of the ticket deposit. Public transportation is a derived demand which the demand is influenced to products that carried (e.g. passengers), it forced PT. KAI to do improvement and taken into consideration of new policy issuance.  Despite on tariff issue, there are factors contributed such as on-time schedule, density in each railcar with the passengers, tidiness, security, service and customer satisfaction. These factors will improve service level of the commuter line service as a main alternative for public transport services that relieve road congestion.

Abstract

Delay is supposedly not to be a usual thing. The researchers, using the field research and literature method and fishbone analysis, found five factors: first, the obstacles in processing wheelchair for passenger arrivals with percentage at 86.8%; second, no wheelchair for passenger from the employees with a percentage of 81.6%; third, insufficient time to process the services with a percentage of 78.9%; fourth, the inadequate number of wheelchair with a percentage of 60.5%; the last, wheelchair passengers had to wait to use the lift with a percentage of 63.16%. To overcome these, the management should add the employees number and the overtime hours, re-set the absent matches with airline flight schedule, provide employees training, increase the number of wheelchair, repair the broken wheelchair, and convey complaints from passengers using wheelchair to Angkasa Pura II to increase the number of existing lifts.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the effect of the delay arrival of railway to the operational performance of the first regional in Jakarta. To solve the problem, the research used some methods; unstructured data collecting, library research, and companies’ data. While for the data analysis used simple linear regression, basic counting of railway delay arrival and operational performance. The results show that there is an effect of the railway delay arrival (X) as 38.44 to the operational performance of the first regional (Y) with the interpretation of coefficient correlation as 0.62. The results mean that the effect is strong enough.

Abstract

PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta (JAS) Halim Perdana Kusuma who tried field cargo handling and ground handling and has a network of cooperation with international and domestic companies. The problem in this research is the lack of employee training in understanding the Health Safety in the warehouse. The research objective was to determine the variable analysis training, Health Safety and Employee Performance, to solve the problems the author uses two (2) methods: the first method of field research sample population 30 and 30. Both methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, test validity, reliability test, t-test, f, the coefficient of determination. And the analysis and discussion show a proportional relationship between training, Health Safety and performance of employees that level of relationship variables classified in the strong category Health and Safety at Work provides a significant influence on employee performance variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate parking stand on apron capacity in occupied time. The method of this study was field research and library research. The data was analyzed by using queue theory. The result of this study shows that P, as a level of service facility in occupied time, is 83.33%. Po, probability of 0 planes in queue, is 80%. Lq (average planes in queue in occupied time) is 2.44 planes each hour. Ls (number of planes in total system in occupied time)is 15.77 planes each hour. Wq (average time in queue) in occupied time is 15 minutes. Ws (the average time in queue total system) in occupied timeis 95 minutes. Based on the data, parking stand at international airport Adisutjipto Yogyakarta is not optimal because the number of flight is too crowded in occupied time. It causes the queue of planes at the airport.

Abstract

One of the airport which is handled by PT Angkasa Pura II and the biggest in Indonesia is Soekarno Hatta Airport,Tanggerang. In 2014, the airport rank is 12nd as the busiest airport in the world (aci report), while the existence of the parking stand is limited. The aim of the research is to analyze the need of parking stand at terminal 2F, especially on the weekend. This research use a queue method with the result; the data is processed with probability 1 or when the airplane in the queue to the parking stand at 46.18%, the utilization value of the parking stand services during weekends 6.02%. Meanwhile, for a regular time the probability is 71.00%, utilization value is 14.70%.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of the implementation of halal logistics and the implementation of halal policies in logistics service providers in Indonesia. The need for a halal market in Indonesia is increasing and the market is no longer just talking in the context of food, but also has become a lifestyle. With this phenomenon, the logistics sector and the product supply chain must also apply halal aspects to the industry. As a pioneer of Halal Assurance System (Sistem Jaminan Halal/ SJH) Logistics where companies must be able to maintain halal during the supply chain process and ensure that the products distributed do not contaminate between halal and non-halal products. This research was conducted using descriptive method. Data was collected through direct observation in the field, interviews with employees and literature studies.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of flight safety ramp check implementation in Terminal II Soekarno Hatta airport in 2017. The method applied in this research was quantitative method using simple linier regression, correlation coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing to analyze the data. The result shows that there is a proportional relation of the ramp check implementation towards the flight safety. This can be seen from the simple linier line equationwhich is Y = 29,754 + 0,524 X. The analysis also shows a strong relation of the ramp check implementation towards the flight safety that can be seen from the coefficient correlation r= 0,406, and the hypothesis testing tcount= 2,130 > ttable= 1,714 thus HO is rejected and Hais accepted. This means that there is a significant influence of flight safety ramp checkimplementation in Terminal II SoekarnoHatta airport.
