Abstract

This study aims to describe the effects of the use of analog clock-based educational learning media in improving the understanding of the concept of time in class II C students at SD NU Metro. This study shows that students' understanding of the concept of time, such as reading the clock and distinguishing between types of morning, afternoon, evening, and night, is still relatively low. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods that include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects in this study include class teachers and 28 students from class II C. The study proves that the use of analog clock media helps students understand the concept of time in a more concrete way. Learning activities become more interactive, and students show high interest and enthusiasm in participating in learning. Teachers also feel helped in delivering material through the media. Thus, analog clock-based learning media has a good impact in helping students understand the concept of time optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in enhancing students’ intrinsic learning motivation through Game-Based Learning (GBL) assisted by sticky note media in teaching Asmaul Husna. The primary issue underlying this research is the dominance of conventional methods, particularly mechanistic memorization, which has led to low student engagement and limited intrinsic motivation in the classroom. This study employed a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of one Islamic Religious Education teacher and 21 third-grade students at MHM Dayamurni Excellent Islamic Elementary School. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of Game-Based Learning (GBL) assisted by sticky note media significantly enhanced students’ intrinsic learning motivation, as reflected in increased interest, self-confidence, active participation, and enthusiasm during the learning process. The teacher’s structured, collaborative, and interactive strategy created an enjoyable and meaningful learning environment. Therefore, the use of GBL supported by simple media can serve as an effective alternative instructional strategy for improving students’ motivation in Islamic Religious Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low interest of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kubung in entrepreneurship activities. Most students participate in these activities merely to fulfill school assignments, rather than due to personal motivation or genuine interest in entrepreneurship. This condition has the potential to hinder the development of an entrepreneurial mindset, which should be one of the essential competencies in 21st-century education. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the influence of the implementation of the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) on the entrepreneurial spirit of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Kubung. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The research population consists of all seventh-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 111 students, with a sample of 87 students selected using simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of P5 has a significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial spirit, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 5.284 > the t-table value of 1.666. The magnitude of the influence of P5 implementation on the entrepreneurial spirit is 24.7%. Thus, it can be concluded that the better the implementation of the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, the higher the students’ entrepreneurial spirit

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic educational values by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as a preventive effort against student delinquency at SMKN 1 Abung Selatan. The background of this research is the continued presence of students’ indisciplinary behaviors, such as tardiness, violations of school rules, the use of mobile phones during lessons, and low participation in religious activities. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity tested through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Islamic educational values is carried out through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation, all oriented toward prevention. Teachers integrate values such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, and moral conduct (akhlaq) into both learning processes and religious habituation activities. The implementation is conducted through role modeling, persuasive advice, enforcement of discipline, and routine religious activities. Evaluation is carried out by monitoring changes in students’ behavior, which are indicated by a decrease in tardiness and rule violations, as well as increased participation in religious activities. This implementation serves as an effective preventive effort in reducing student delinquency at mild to moderate levels, thereby creating a more conducive and orderly school environment
