Abstract

Disposal of batik waste into the environment without treatment causes pollution. Liquid waste from batik production contains pollutants and causes a decrease in the quality of river water. The decrease in water quality affects the life of macrozoobenthos. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the macrozoobenthos community in the Meduri River. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. Sediment was taken using an ekman grab. Macrozoobenthos were identified, and community structure analysis was carried out. The results obtained showed that there were two genera of macrozoobenthos found in the Meduri River, including Melanoides and Bithynia. The level of diversity and evenness was relatively low; there was a dominance of species in the community.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and brand image on the use of digital Islamic banking services at Bank NTB Syariah. The approach used used is a quantitative method with survey techniques, where data is collected through questionnaire of 100 respondents who chosen with snowball sampling technique. SPSS was used to do multiple linear regression analysis on data.  The study's findings reveal that financial inclusion and brand image have a substantial impact on the utilization of digital services. Banking sharia has no discernible effect, whereas financial literacy does. The F test indicates that the three variables simultaneously affect the use of digital services. The k value efficiency determination (R²) of 68.6% shows that the independent variables can explain variations in the use of digital Islamic banking services.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the meaning of cost in the Metatah ceremony of the Balinese Hindu community on Lombok Island. This study adopts an interpretive paradigm with an ethnographic methodology, collecting data through passive observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation from Balinese Hindus in Mataram City who have performed the Metatah ceremony. The findings indicate that Metatah costs hold diverse meanings, reflecting cultural and social values. These costs are seen as lascarya (sincere) and non-binding, as fulfillment of the obligations or debts of parents to their children, as spiritual investment for children and as bond of brotherhood. This study provides insight that Metatah costs have a non-materialistic, humanistic, and spiritual meaning, in contrast to the modern materialistic concept of cost.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low literacy and numeracy skills of elementary school students in Medan, where approximately 35% of students have not met the minimum literacy standards. Additionally, the numeracy skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 064960 Medan Polonia remain at a low to moderate level. One of the contributing factors is the inadequate use of appropriate learning media. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the impact of Flipbook media on the literacy skills of second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 060938 Medan Johor and Dakota media on the numeracy skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 064960 Medan Polonia. This research employs a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving 40 second-grade students and 58 fourth-grade students. The results indicate a significant improvement after using learning media. In the literacy study, the posttest average score increased from 50 to 60.5 in the control class and from 48 to 85.5 in the experimental class.

This study aims to determine the accountability of payments for the implementation of the state revenue and expenditure budget (APBN) at the Palm Plant Instrument Standard Testing Center (BPSI Palma Plants). The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative using data sources, namely primary and secondary data and with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Palm Plant Instrument Standard Testing Center Payment for the implementation of the state revenue and expenditure budget is in accordance with PMK No. 210 of 2022. There are also obstacles in the Sakti application which often experiences disruptions or instability during the administration process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of rent and borrowing of Regional Property (BMD) based on Permendagri No. 19 of 2016 at the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Morotai Island Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data compilation, data classification, data processing, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the utilization of rent and borrowing of BMD had been implemented well in accordance with Permendagri No. 19 of 2016, although it still faces challenges in achieving rental targets where in 2021 the rental realization was only 67% of the target. In fact, in 2022 the rental realization only reached 26.7%. In 2023, although there was an increase of 53.9% from 2022, the target realization was still not optimal. To overcome these challenges, the BPKAD of Morotai Island Regency needs to evaluate more realistic rental targets, accompanied by socialization regarding the potential of BMD assets to increase the effectiveness of their utilization.
