Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Discovery Learning model to the science process skills (KPS) of students on Environmental Pollution material in class VII SMPN 01 Sanggau Ledo. The form of this research is a pseudo experiment (Quasy Experimental Design) with a research design of nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used intact group, class VII A as an experiment and VII B as a control. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test totaling 20 questions and an observation sheet of Science Process Skills (KPS). From the results of the analysis of Science Process Skills (KPS) obtained an average percentage of Science Process Skills (KPS) in the Experimental class of 86.60% with a very good category, and the control class obtained an average percentage of Science Process Skills (KPS) of 75.00% with a good category, this shows that Science Process Skills (KPS) in the experimental class are higher than KPS in the control class. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Science Process Skills, Environmental Pollution

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the planning, implementation and results of implementing the Team Quiz Type Active Learning learning model in the sociology subject of class XI IPS at MA Yasti Sekura are carried out. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive research form. The data sources in this research are one sociology teacher who teaches at MA Yasti Sekura and four students in class XI IPS MA Yasti Sekura. The results of this research show that in lesson planning teachers make lesson plans, prepare materials and make homework assignments. In implementing learning, the teacher carries out learning activities in accordance with the RPP that has been created, namely consisting of initial, core and final activities. The implementation of the Team Quiz Type Active Learning learning model obtained learning outcomes consisting of knowledge domains with assessments based on homework assignments with an average score of 87.6. In the attitude domain there are values of activeness, discipline, mutual cooperation, politeness and self-confidence. The domain of skills obtained by students is from how to express opinions, ask questions and answer. The application of the Team Quiz Type Active Learning learning model creates a very active class atmosphere where students dominate the learning process so that general problems such as boredom and sleepiness felt by students can be resolved, besides that, the application of the Team Quiz Type Active Learning learning model makes the class atmosphere more comfortable. It's fun because in its implementation there is a quiz game between groups

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of AI chatbots on the learning process of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students at Universitas Islam Riau, class of 2022. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population consisted of 345 students from the PGSD program at Universitas Islam Riau, class of 2022. A simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 104 students. The data collection techniques and instruments involved questionnaires for variables X and Y. To test the research hypothesis, the researcher applied a simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the increased use of AI chatbots contributes to an improvement in learning quality. A total of 83.6% of the variation in student learning can be explained by the use of AI chatbots, as indicated by the coefficient of determination (R ² = 0.836). The remaining 16.4% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of AI chatbot use on the learning process of PGSD students at Universitas Islam Riau, class of 2022
