Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran proses pengembangan dan memperoleh kemasan perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi POE yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada materi pokok asam basa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Produk pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi POE pada materi pokok asam basa yang diujicobakan di SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba berpedoman pada langkah-langkah pokok pengembangan pembelajaran model 4-D yang terbagi dalam empat tahapan yaitu: pendefenisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi: rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), buku peserta didik (BPD), lembar kegiatan peserta didik (LKPD), dan tes hasil belajar (THB). Data kevalidan diperoleh berdasarkan penilaian validator terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan hasil kevalidan berada pada kategori “valid”. Data keefektifan yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik yang memiliki rata-rata 80,00 dari skor ideal 100 dengan peserta tuntas belajar 30 orang atau sebesar 85,00 %, dan data respon peserta didik yang memberikan respon positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan. Serta data kepraktisan diperoleh berdasarkan keterlaksanaan seluruh pembelajaran. Data menunjukkan bahwa memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif dan praktis. Kata kunci: Kata kunci: Strategi POE, model 4-D, hasil belajar

Abstract

This review article aims to identify the effect size of the mastery learning model in chemistry learning. The writing of this review article uses a meta-analysis research design using the Glass method. An effect size test was performed with a comparison of the result of 5 relevant research literature. In this study using purposive sampling technique to obtain samples. Based on the effect size test, the effect size value obtained in chemistry learning with the mastery learning model includes 1) learning outcomes of 1.32. 2) learning activities shown by the creativity of students by 4 and activities of studens by 0,48. 3) the response of students as indicated by the interest and motivation of learning students, namely 21,98 and 0,75. 4) male students have a greater effect size than female students, namely 24,53 and 22,77. Student learning outcomes can be increased by using the mastery learning model. Students have a positive response to the mastery learning model indicated by students are very enthusiastic, critical and easier to understand the material being taught.

Abstract

The study aimed at examining (1) the difference between learning outcomes of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar taught by using Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model and the ones using direct learning on Hydrolisis of Salt, (2) the diffrence between learning outcomes of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar with high initial ability on Hydrolysis of Salt, (3) the interaction betwen learning model and initial ability in influenching learning outcomes of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar on hydrolysis of Salt. The Study was a quasi-experiment research which employed factorial 2x2 design.The population of the study was all grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar of academic year 2012/2013 with 7 classes. The samples were two classes, namely grade XI IPA1 and grade XI IPA3 selected using random sampling technique. Hypothesis test was conducted by employing two-way analysis of variant of GLM univariat supported by SPSS 16.0 program. The results of the study revealed that (1) therewas a difference between learning outcomes of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar taught by using TPS learning model and the ones using direct learning on Hydrolysis of salt, (2) there was a difference between learning outcomes of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar with high initial ability and low initial ability on Hydrolysis of Salt, (3) there was interaction between learning model and initial ability in influenching learning outcomes of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 4 Makassar on Hydrolysis of Salt. The average of students’ learning outcomes taught by using TPS learning model was higher than taught by using direct learning model, and learning outcomes of students who have high initial ability was higher than students with low initial ability.

Abstract

The research aims to improve students learning achievement on the subject of stoichiometric in the class X MIPA SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. This research method uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis using normality test, homogeneity test and analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the analysis of data processing obtained tcount > ttable is 2,33 > 1,67 means that the implementation of cooperative learning model TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) can improve students learning achievement on the subject of stoichiometric in the class X MIPA SMAN 2 Siak Hulu with categories of achievement improvement learning in the experimental class based on Score  (N-Gain) is high, which is 0.8.

Abstract

The study is experiment research (quasi experiment), which aims at analyzing the differences of critical thinking skill and learning outcomes taught by utilizing Problem-Based Learning and direct learning. The research design employed non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The results of descrective analysis obtained the mean score of critical thinking skill and learning outcomes in experiment class 1 is 77.60, and experiment class 2, 75.36 with each standard of deviation 6.92 and 9.06. The mean percentage of critical thinking skill indicator in experiment class 1 is 83.14 and in experiment class 2 is 78.01. The mean score of learning outcomes taught by utilizing PBM model is higher than the direct learning model. The result of hypothesis test with t=test at the significant level α = 0.05 obtained significance (0.001 < 0.05), indicate that the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of the study is there ia a difference of critical thinking skill and learning outcomes of grade XI MIPA at SMAN 15 Makassar taught by utilizing problem based learning model and direct learning on Hydrocarbon Compounds subject.

Abstract

This study is a quasi-experimental research that aims to discover the effect of learning models and learning styles on learning outcomes of grade XI students of MIPA at SMAN 1 Kalukku. The independent variables in this study were the learning models and learning styles of students, and the dependent variable was the learning outcomes on Colloid System subject. The population of the study were students of grade XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Kalukku with the total of 7 classes. The sample of the study was determined by using random sampling technique consisted of 2 classes, namely Class XI MIPA 1 (Class A) and XI MIPA 3 (Class B). The research design employed factorial. The research data was obtained by giving a test of learning outcomes on Colloid System material in the form of a post-test consisted of 25 multiple-choice questions. The data analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing was conducted with the F test (ANOVA) at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of hypothesis testing with the F test prove that there is an influence of learning models on learning outcomes, there is an influence of learning styles on learning outcomes, and there is an influence of interaction between learning models and learning styles on learning outcomes of grade XI students of MIPA at SMAN 1 Kalukku, studies on Colloid System subject.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran proses pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) pada materi pokok koloid, (2) menghasilkan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang valid, efektif dan praktis, (3) untuk meningkatkan kecakapan hidup (life skills) peserta didik di SMA Negeri 18 Bone. Pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi pokok koloid berpedoman pada langkah-langkah pokok pengembangan pembelajaran model ADDIE yang terbagi dalm lima tahapan yaitu: analisis (analyze), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli dengan hasil analisis berada pada kategori sangat valid. Hasil analisis keterlaksanaan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek dari segi aspek dan kriterianya terlaksana seluruhnya dengan nilai rata-rata 1,83, didukung oleh kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata 3,66, dan respon guru yang sangat positif dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 95% sehingga modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek memenuhi kriteria praktis. Tingkat keberhasilan dalam uji coba lapangan ditunjukkan oleh ketuntasan belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 18 Bone yang mencapai 83,3 %, didukung oleh respon peserta didik yang sangat positif dengan nilai rata-rata 92,67% sehingga modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek memenuhi kriteria efektif. Hasil pengamatan kecakapan berpikir (thinking skill), kecakapan sosial (social skill), dan kecakapan akademik (academic skill) menunjukkan persentase peningkatan pada setiap pertemuan. Dengan demikian modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek (project based learning) pada materi pokok koloid yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kecakapan hidup (life skills) peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 18 Bone. Kata kunci: Modul pembelajaran, Project Based Learning (PjBL), Koloid, Kecakapan hidup (life skills).  ABSTRACTThe study aims at (1) discoreing the description of development process on project based learning module on colloid subject material, (2) producing project based learning module which is valid, effective, and practical, and (3) inproving life skills of the students at SMAN 18 in Bone. The development of project based leraning module on colloid subject material referred to ADDIE model which consisted of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The project based learning model developed was validated by two experts with the result that it was in very valid category. The result of the implementation of project based learning module score 1,83, supported by teachers’ ability in classroom management in very high category with the mean score 3,66, and teacher’s response was in very positive category with the mean score achieved 95%; thus, the project based learning module had met the practical criteria. The level of success in field test was shown by the mastery of grade XI IPA students at SMAN 18 in bone that achieved 83,3%, supported by students’ response which was very positive with the mean 92,67%; thus, the project based learning module had met effective criteria. The observation result of thinking skill, social skill, and academic skill indicated that improvement in percentage in each meeting. Therefore, the project based learning module on colloid subject material which had been developed had met the criteria of valid, practical, effective and able to improve life skills of grade XI IPA student at SMAN 18 in Bone. Keyword : learning module, project based learning, colloid

Abstract

The study is research and development that aims to develop augmented reality-based chemistry learning module which is valid, practical, and effective. Augmented reality-based chemistry learning module refers to the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan et. al., which includes the stages of defining, designing, developing and disseminating. This learning modules had been conducted the validation stage by the assessors or experts and gone through field trial, revised by the developer to produce learning module which is valid, effective, and practical. The results of the study reveal that: (1) the assessments of feasibility or validity of the media expert and a material expert are in the very valid category; (2) in the field trial stage to 33 students of grade XI MIA 1 at SMAN 10 Makassar obtained the mean score of  80.00 learning outcomes from an ideal score of 100 with a grade completeness of 82%; (3) the responses of students and teachers respectively with a percentage of  80.38% and 100%, so the module is stated as practical. Therefore, the conclusion of the study is the augmented reality-based chemistry learning module which had been developed using 4D model is valid, practical, and effective to be applied in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not there is an influence of Quipper School e-learning media on a problem-based learning model to increase motivation and learning outcomes of students in grade X MIPA 1 at MAN Sidenreng Rappangin Chemical Bonding subject. This research is a quasi-experimental research, quantitative with experimental research methods. The design used in this study was a randomized pretest-posttest design. The data obtained were analyzed by employing descriptive and inferential statistical analysis by using SPSS version 15. From the data analysis, it is discovered that the average value of motivation and learning outcomes of the experimental class is greater than that of the control class. In addition, from testing the T test hypothesis, a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 is obtained for motivation and 0.000 < 0.05 for learning outcomes, which means that motivation and group learning outcomes using the Quipper School e-learning media on the PBM model have an influence compared to the group without using the Quipper School e-learning media on the PBM model.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey and ex-post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri Se-Kecamatan Ternate Utara tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Total populasi penelitian sebanyak 311 peserta didik dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 175 peserta didik. Teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan propotional cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen berupa angket terbuka dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia sangat kuat dengan niai yag diperoleh adalah 0,88. Untuk uji hipotesis digunakan uji t, data yang diperoleh menunjukan thitung > ttabel yaitu 8,23 > 1,97 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 di terima sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat korelasi antara motivasi peserta didik dengan hasil belajar kimia.Kata Kunci: motivasi, hasil belajar.ABSTRACTThe study is a survey and ex-post facto which aims to determine the correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes grade XI IPA of State Senior High Schools in North Ternate District in the academic year 2017/2018. The total population of the study was 311 students with a sample size of 175 students. The sample determination technique is used propotional cluster random sampling. Retrieval of research data using an instrument in the form of an open questionnaire and test, research data were analyzed using SPSS Software. The results showed that the correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes was very strong with the value obtained was 0.88. To test the hypothesis, the t test is used, the data obtained shows tcount > t table that the number is 8.23 > 1.97 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the motivation of students with chemistry learning outcomes. Keywords: Motivation, Learning Achievement.
