Abstract

The success of a performance in educational institutions can be seen from the existence of good cooperation and communication climate between roles. Good education will certainly produce a superior and quality generation, so to achieve this goal there needs to be cohesiveness and mutual involvement of various parties related to the school. This study aims to analyze the urgency of communication governance so that it influences the effectiveness of employee performance at MTs Al-Amanah Bogor. The method of collecting data from this study is using a qualitative descriptive approach with observation and interview techniques as well as citing several discussions related to research from several sources; namely journals, books, articles, and others. As for the results of this study, that communication governance greatly influences the effectiveness and productivity of employee performance and the communication governance system that is implemented is quite good. This is influenced by a two-way communication system. So that it shows openness and minimizes the possibility of miss communication.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what kind of orientation program is implemented by Madrasah Aliyah Fathan Mubina in order to get qualified Educators and Educational Staff in order to improve the quality of human resources and strive for professionalism. This research method uses a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the source of data in this study comes from primary data, namely interviews and sources from secondary data, namely books and journals that can strengthen this research. The results showed that the steps and strategies taken by MA Fathan Mubina in orientation were to carry out environmental orientation independently by implementing a probationary period of 3 months, under the supervision of the school leadership. And MA Fathan Mubina places employees according to the abilities of the employees and the needs of the school. It can be concluded that the results of orientation can streamline time because employees already know each of their jobs and can adapt to their school environment, both in terms of familiarity with employees, as well as in completing a job.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financing distribution system in several elementary schools in Bogor Regency and find out the effectiveness and efficiency of managing the costs of some of these schools. The method used is to conduct an analysis by interviewing several respondents concerned regarding the title, also the author uses the literature study method to complete the results of the research that has been carried out. In this study, the object of the study is the percentage of the division of types of costs obtained and used in the management system in the 2022/2023 school year. The results of research from several schools in Bogor Regency, it is known that the source of income for elementary school education costs in Bogor Regency as much as 70% comes from the Government, namely in the form of BOS funds and 30% comes from tuition fees, as well as related school foundation funds. As for the financing that comes out of the research results, some schools generally spend 50% on employee salaries, 30% for the procurement of infrastructure, and 20% for activities held by schools.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and explain science and the virtues of knowledgeable people from the perspective of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely in Sunan Ibn Majah. The method used is the library research method (Library Research) by taking literature that is appropriate to the subject of discussion in the form of books, journal articles, both national and international which will later be analyzed in depth so that conclusions and findings can be drawn in the research. The research results show that there are 5 points that are the priority of knowledgeable people as explained in Sunan Ibn Majah, namely: 1) Getting an easy way to heaven. 2) Favored by angels. 3) Begged for forgiveness by other creatures of Allah. 4) More important than worshipers, and 5) Being the heir of the prophet. This research concludes that having knowledge for Muslims is very important because its priority factor is also a command from Allah SWT. And the superiority of people who have knowledge is due to the nobleness of that knowledge which becomes an intermediary for its claimants towards goodness, piety and eternal luck.

Abstract

This article discusses the arrangement and procurement of infrastructure facilities at Insantama Leuwiliang Bogor. There are three activities carried out in the process of arranging infrastructure facilities, namely inventory, storage and maintenance, while the use of infrastructure facilities is a process that includes aspects of use where there are two principles that must be considered in the use of educational equipment, namely the principle of effectiveness and the principle of efficiency. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. This research was conducted using interview and observation techniques carried out at SMPIT Insantama. The results in this study are that arrangements have been made with competent people, providing coding for each item, storage is appropriate, maintenance continues to be carried out by the respective person in charge and there is a procedure for using infrastructure facilities which is the utilization of infrastructure facilities.

Abstract

School based management is a strategy and model that aims to improve the quality of education. The importance of this research is to find out school based management, quality of education, and implementation of school-based management in an effort to improve the quality of education at Junior High School Al-Falahiyah Puraseda. This research was conducted at Junior High School Al-Falahiyah Puraseda. It is a phenomenological research using a naturalistic qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman's. This study uses two data validity tests, a dependability test. The results of this study indicate that The SBM that has been implemented has gone well starting from the creation of the vision, mission and objectives of the school, the structural creation of teaching staff and students, the creation of educational activity committees, the involvement of all educational elements who participate and work together, to the evaluation. The condition of the quality of education meets educational standards, marked by the existence of a best input, process, outpute, and outcome. Through the implementation of SBM the quality of education has increased.

Abstract

This research aims to integrate Islamic values in the STEM-based curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) in order to form holistic student characters and competencies. This research was conducted using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The methodology used includes literature study, in-depth interviews with educators and curriculum experts, as well as surveys to students and teachers in several integrated Islamic schools. The results showed that the integration of Islamic values in the STEM curriculum can improve students' understanding not only in academic aspects but also in terms of morals and ethics. In particular, values such as honesty, cooperation, responsibility and discipline can be instilled through teaching that combines scientific concepts with Islamic teachings. In addition, this approach also encourages the development of critical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills that are indispensable in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Implementing a STEM-based curriculum integrated with Islamic values requires support from various stakeholders, including teachers, school administrators and education policy makers. The findings indicate the need for training and professional development for teachers to adopt this approach effectively. Overall, this study concludes that the integration of Islamic values in the STEM-based curriculum not only enables more meaningful and relevant teaching but also helps in shaping a generation with high character and competence, ready to contribute positively in society.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture encourages education units and educators to learn and share with each other through a learning community supported by the Merdeka Teaching Platform (PMM). In implementing the independent curriculum, teachers need new competencies and understanding in implementing this curriculum. It is necessary to have a community or groups consisting of educators to exchange inspiration and ideas in learning. This research aims to analyse the application of group behaviour in improving learning communities in Bukittinggi City. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The results showed that the learning community as one of the competency improvement strategies for educators, in its implementation was carried out in a scheduled and unscheduled manner. Activities in learning communities are carried out by identifying learning needs or problems being faced, sharing problems and developing processes to find solutions. Learning communities provide a space for educators to communicate and share information, contextual issues, personal experiences that can build understanding and insight related to learning. After the implementation of learning community activities, there is still a need for regular feedback and evaluation of the learning community.

Abstract

This research focuses on the planning, organizing, and implementation of the selection process at MTs. MMI Gresik, with the objective of analyzing the planning, organizing, and implementation of the student admission selection at MTs. MMI Gresik to meet expectations. The research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used by the researcher include data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation. The results of the research show that in the planning stage of student admissions, the head of the madrasa at MTs. MMI Gresik prepared committee decision letters, meeting plans, implementation schedules, budgets, admission requirements, scholarship criteria, and promotion plans. In the organizing stage, the process followed the student admission SOP with coordination through meetings and WhatsApp groups. The implementation of student admissions ran smoothly with promotions through banners, brochures, websites, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. A total of 95% or 96 new students underwent the TPA and BTQ tests and re-registered. However, 5% only completed the registration form without taking the tests or re-registering because they chose another school. During Matsama on July 17, 2023, 10 new students were accepted at MTs. MMI. For the next student admissions, it is important to involve stakeholders such as the madrasa committee, student guardians, madrasa supervisors, and psychologists in determining selection needs.

Abstract

This article aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the Urgency of Knowledge Management in Teacher Professionalism Development. School policies that change frequently make education staff, policy makers and teachers need relevant knowledge to do their jobs. Knowledge Management can be a solution for educators to manage change as it has been considered a possible strategy to address problems in the business sector. This study uses a type of descriptive qualitative research based on library research where the researcher uses various literature to obtain research data and uses content analysis. Based on the results of the research, Education functions as one of the sources of knowledge, so Knowledge Management has a very important role in it. Knowledge development must be supported by information technology to facilitate access and improve the quality of knowledge sharing as well as knowledge management, which will result in improved quality and competitiveness. Professional teachers are teachers who have the necessary skills and competencies to carry out educational and teaching duties. Teacher performance is very important for the success of education because the performance of teachers in carrying out their duties greatly affects the quality of education. Thus, professional teachers can and have the ability to carry out their roles and responsibilities as educators in the field concerned.
