Abstract

The Safavid Dynasty was one of the great empires that played a significant role in the history of Islamic civilization. This paper discusses the Islamic education system implemented during the Safavid period, focusing on the development of knowledge, the rise of Shia education, and the role of women in education. The education system employed three main approaches: indoctrinative education to reinforce Shia teachings, aesthetic education that supported the development of arts and industry, and military and governmental management education. The Safavid Dynasty also produced renowned scholars such as Mulla Sadra and Mir Damad, who contributed to the fields of philosophy and theology. This study uses a literature review method with content analysis from various historical sources and related literature. The findings aim to provide a deeper understanding of the Safavid Dynasty's contributions to Islamic education. The educational system during this period was based on Shia Islam, with key centers in Qom, Isfahan, and Najaf. Various madrasas were established to disseminate teachings of Islam, literature, and other Islamic sciences. In the context of Islamic education in Indonesia today, it is essential to emphasize comprehensive understanding, skill enhancement, character development, and the implementation of modern educational methods. By applying the core values from the golden period of Islamic civilization, Islamic education in Indonesia can be enriched to produce intelligent, moral, and internationally competitive generations

Abstract

The role of Guidance and Counselling Teachers (BK) is very important in the world of education, especially in helping students overcome academic problems. Students often face various challenges that can affect their learning achievement, including social pressure, personal problems, and difficulties in understanding the subject matter. This study aims to explore the role and strategies used by the counselling teachers in supporting santri in overcoming their academic problems. Through a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with counselling teachers and santri in several pesantren. The results show that appropriate interventions from counselling teachers can improve the learning motivation and academic performance of santri.

Abstract

In today's digital era, technology has become an integral part of various aspects of life, including in education. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning is no exception. This journal aims to explore the role of technology in improving the effectiveness of Islamic Education learning. Through a qualitative approach and analysis of relevant data, this study found that the use of technology, such as online learning applications, learning videos, and social media, can increase student engagement, expand the accessibility of materials, and support more interactive learning. Thus, the application of technology in PAI learning can be an effective strategy to improve the quality of religious education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The background of this research focuses on the application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology to enhance the understanding of abstract concepts in Islamic Education for students. Although AR has been applied in various educational fields, its use in the context of Islamic Education remains limited. The purpose of this research is to explore how AR can help students understand Islamic concepts more interactively and contextually. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and literature analysis related to the application of AR in education. The principal results of the study indicate that AR can simplify students' understanding of abstract Islamic concepts, such as the concept of God, Prophets, and the afterlife. The use of AR also creates a more engaging and enjoyable learning experience, providing clearer visualizations of the material being taught. The major conclusion of this research is that the application of AR has great potential to improve students' understanding of Islamic Education concepts and contributes significantly to the innovation of more effective and engaging religious learning methods.

Abstract

Education in the modern era faces the challenge of developing 21st-century skills such as creativity and problem-solving, in addition to academic achievements. One approach widely used to achieve this goal is project-based learning with authentic assessment, which encourages students to think critically and creatively. This study aims to explore how the use of authentic assessment in project-based learning can enhance the creativity of senior high school students. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving observations and interviews with teachers and students. The results show that the application of project-based learning with authentic assessment can significantly improve students' creativity, especially in problem-solving and collaboration skills. The process-focused assessment provides more in-depth feedback for students' development. This study contributes to the development of relevant learning approaches for modern educational needs and assists teachers in designing more effective strategies to enhance students' creativity and skills.

Abstract

Increasing digital literacy is an important component in preparing students to face the increasingly rapid development of technology. This study aims to analyze the active role of teachers in utilizing information technology as an effective learning tool at MIN 11 Banda Aceh. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design to reveal the application of information technology by teachers in improving students' digital literacy. The findings of the study indicate that teachers at MIN 11 Banda Aceh proactively utilize various technological devices, such as computers, tablets, and digital learning applications in teaching and learning activities. In addition, teachers also provide students with supplies on how to use technology appropriately and efficiently. The application of this technology not only improves students' ability to access and evaluate information but also helps develop critical thinking skills, collaboration, and creativity. Despite challenges related to infrastructure limitations and differences in technological abilities among students, teachers are able to overcome these obstacles with innovative solutions. Overall, this study shows that the active role of teachers in integrating information technology into the learning process greatly contributes to improving students' digital literacy, which is very important in today's digital era.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan elemen krusial dalam membentuk mahasiswa yang tidak hanya unggul dalam bidang akademik, tetapi juga memiliki akhlak yang baik dan integritas yang tinggi. Dalam hal ini, dayah, sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tradisional, memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membangun karakter mahasiswa. Dayah mengajarkan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual yang memadukan ajaran agama dengan pembentukan karakter pribadi, seperti kejujuran, rasa tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial. Pendekatan yang menyeluruh yang diterapkan di dayah mencakup pengembangan intelektual, emosional, dan spiritual, yang berkontribusi pada terbentuknya mahasiswa dengan karakter yang kokoh. Di kampus, penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang berbasis dayah dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pembentukan karakter mahasiswa di tengah pesatnya globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang sering mengancam nilai-nilai moral. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri peran dayah sebagai pilar dalam pembentukan karakter mahasiswa yang berkualitas dan berakhlak mulia di kampus. Diharapkan, kolaborasi antara pendidikan dayah dan pendidikan tinggi dapat menghasilkan mahasiswa yang tidak hanya berprestasi akademik, tetapi juga memiliki integritas, etika, dan kepedulian sosial yang tinggi.

Abstract

Management is a benchmark for the quality of education so that good education can be seen from how the madrasa head manages his madrasa. Likewise with digital madrasas, it is always related to how the madrasa head is managed and it is time for madrasas to follow the era which is now completely digital. This research aims to find out how the madrasa head manages in developing digital madrasas at MTs Negeri 6 Pasuruan. This research method uses qualitative observation and interviews conducted at MTs Negeri 6 Pasuruan. The results of this research are that madrasah heads are able to manage digital madrasah development by planning by determining mission, targets, strategies and budgets. Then through organizing by dividing performance related to digital madrasas according to the portion of human resource capabilities at MTs Negeri 6 Pasuruan. Then in terms of implementation both in learning and human resources. The final evaluation is both in terms of learning, social media and infrastructure. So, madrasa head management is very important in developing digital madrasas.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of educational and management theories to develop adaptive, effective, and sustainable educational governance. The main focus is addressing the gap between theory and practice in educational management within Indonesia and Malaysia, as well as evaluating the application of classical and contemporary management theories in an educational context. Classical management, emphasizing efficiency and hierarchical structure, is considered insufficiently flexible for modern educational needs, necessitating supplementation with human relations theory and transformational leadership that encourage innovation and well-being. This research aims to develop a new conceptual model that merges educational and management theories and provides practical recommendations for educational management in Indonesia. Employing a normative approach through literature review and comparative analysis of educational management policies and practices in Indonesia and Malaysia, findings indicate Malaysia's greater success in outcome-based management through community engagement, while Indonesia faces challenges in consistent policy implementation across regions. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive managerial strategies based on local social and cultural contexts. It contributes theoretically by offering a new model for educational management and provides practical recommendations, including adaptive strategies and enhanced cross-sectoral and regional collaboration in ASEAN to strengthen education quality and sustainability

Abstract

In the religious realm, the family plays a significant role in implementing religious values, including monotheism, which is one of the central concepts in Islam. Etymologically, monotheism itself means oneness. So, does the application of monotheism in the family have a positive influence on the development of individual character and their performance in an increasingly complex professional world? Therefore, this article will review how the application of the value of monotheism in the family sphere can have an impact on a person's attitude in their professional world. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. This research is included in primary data sources, where research data was obtained from interviews using purposive techniques. There are three techniques used by researchers in collecting research data, namely interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. After conducting interviews, it was concluded that religious values play an important role in shaping family behavior, values, and hopes for the future. By carrying out religious practices such as prayer, reading the Koran, dressing according to the Shari'a, and praying as a way to get closer to Allah, they can form good morals in children and provide good role models
