Abstract

Education is the spearhead of a country's progress, with the quality of education being the key to determining the direction of national development. Developed and developing countries often realize the importance of education as a top priority for development. The development of information technology, especially in the world of education, has a significant impact on the learning process. According to Subdibyo Lies (2020), the development of information technology brings positive changes in the world of education, making learning more efficient and effective. In Indonesia, in accordance with Law No. 20 of 2013 concerning National Education Objectives, education aims to educate the nation's life, and one way to achieve this is through the use of technology in learning. E-learning as a form of educational technology offers various benefits, such as interactivity, independence, accessibility, and enrichment of learning. Although the implementation of e-learning in Indonesia is still uneven, this technology has great potential to advance the education system, including in Islamic religious education learning. This study aims to explore the application of information technology-based learning media at SMP Yameba Cimulang, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. The results of the study are expected to provide an overview of the effectiveness of the use of technology in Islamic religious learning and its contribution to improving the quality of education in the school

Abstract

The lack of students’ interest in writing leads to a passive classroom atmosphere and results in low writing skills, which ultimately affect learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of the PAKEM model (Active, Creative, Effective, and Joyful Learning) on students’ basic syllable writing skills. The research employed a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental Design (One Group Pretest–Posttest Design). The subjects were one class of students without a comparison group. The study was conducted at SDIT Al-Munawwar from December 2023 to May 2024. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation, and then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, normality tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test) with the aid of Excel and SPSS V.23. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ writing ability after the implementation of the PAKEM model. The average pretest score of 75.48 increased to 88.10 in the posttest. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PAKEM model has a significant effect on improving the basic syllable writing skills of first-grade students in the Indonesian language subject at SDIT Al-Munawwar

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low arithmetic ability of class II students at MIN 1 Gresik, especially in addition and subtraction materials. The main causes are monotonous learning methods and lack of utilization of learning media. The purpose of this development research is to develop the Ravine Board Learning Media to improve the mathematical arithmetic ability of students in Elementary Schools/Islamic Elementary Schools. Based on these problems, researchers are motivated to design more active, creative, and easy-to-understand learning by involving all students in the learning process in class II of MIN Gresik, with a focus on the following problems: (a) The process of developing the ravine board media (b) The level of validity of the ravine board media development, (c) The level of practicality of the ravine board media development, (d) The effectiveness of the ravine board media development product. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The subjects of the study were class II students of MIN 1 Gresik. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, observations, and pretests and posttests. The results of the study showed that: The ravine board media was very feasible to use, with an average validation score of 57.5. The media was declared very practical with an average score of 91.5 from student responses. Students' numeracy skills increased from a pretest average of 67.5 (very poor category) to 82.3 (very good category). It can be concluded that the ravine board media has proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the numeracy skills of class II students, and is feasible to use in mathematics learning at MIN 1 Gresik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of emotional stimulation based on philosophical and epistemological approaches in overcoming social jealousy in early childhood. The background of this study stems from the phenomenon of social jealousy that often arises in children aged 4–5 years, especially in early childhood education settings, which has the potential to hinder their social-emotional development. The study was conducted at Aisyiyah 01 Leuwiliang Kindergarten using a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects included the school principal, classroom teachers, parents, and children in Group A. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, with validation using source and technique triangulation. The study revealed that the strategies employed to stimulate emotions included fostering good behavior, group games that build empathy, simple discussions about feelings, and direct teacher intervention in resolving conflicts. The implementation of these strategies was consistent and supported by collaboration between the school and parents. The results of the study indicate a significant decrease in social jealousy behavior, an increase in the ability to wait for one's turn, and an increase in children's empathy toward peers. Emotional stimulation based on philosophical and epistemological approaches has proven effective in reducing social jealousy and creating a harmonious, empathetic, and inclusive learning environment. This is the conclusion of this study. It is recommended to integrate these strategies into early childhood education as a preventive and curative measure in the social-emotional development of children
