Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of video media in enhancing third-grade students’ understanding of rhythm patterns in the Cultural Arts subject at MI Muhammadiyah Ketro 1. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that video media has a significant impact on improving students' comprehension. The visualization of rhythm patterns through video helps students easily identify and differentiate between beats and tempos, which were previously difficult to grasp through verbal explanation alone. Additionally, video media increases students’ engagement and enthusiasm during the learning process. Students became more active in discussions, more confident in practice, and demonstrated creativity in creating their own rhythm patterns. However, the study also identified several challenges, such as limited access to devices and unstable internet connectivity. Despite these obstacles, the use of video media proved to be an effective learning strategy that supports the improvement of students' conceptual understanding and musical skills in rhythm pattern lessons within cultural arts education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) approach on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at MI Raudlatul Hasan Condong. The research employs a quantitative method with six meetings, including four lecture sessions, one pre-test, and one post-test. The study sample consists of 25 students from class V B as the control group and 26 students from class V A as the experimental group. Data were collected through tests and non-test methods, while data analysis was conducted by comparing pre-test and post-test results and using N-Gain analysis to assess the development of critical thinking skills in both groups. The results indicate that students in the experimental class experienced an improvement in critical thinking skills, with an average N-Gain score of 0.71, which is higher than the control group’s average score of 0.25. Based on the data analysis, the ETH approach has been proven to have a positive impact on enhancing students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using visual media on students' learning outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject for seventh-grade students at MTs Al Ahsan Bogor. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which received lessons using visual media in the form of PowerPoint slides, and the control class, which used conventional teaching methods. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, and the results were analyzed using a t-test with the help of SPSS software. The findings indicate a significant improvement in student learning outcomes when visual media is used compared to conventional methods. The average post-test score for the experimental class reached 94.30, while the control class only scored 65.47. The t-test results showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, the use of visual media is proven to be effective in enhancing students' comprehension and learning outcomes. These findings reinforce that visual media can clarify learning materials, increase student motivation, and assist in understanding concepts more effectively. This research is expected to serve as a reference for educators in selecting more innovative and interactive teaching strategies to improve the quality of education

Abstract

One example of technological advancement in the era of society 5.0 is the existence of a gadget. Gadgets have quite an influential impact on children. When there is no control or control in the use of gadgets, children will be out of control because gadgets can now be connected to the internet which can access freely. Departing from this problem, this study aims to examine the impacts of gadget use and parental efforts to control gadget use on grade 3 students of MI Al-Huda, Ploso, Pacitan Regency. This study uses a quantitative research method, namely research using numerical or statistical data to analyze the observed phenomena. The results of this study indicate that the use of gadgets with parental guidance has a very positive impact on the learning outcomes of grade 3 students of MI Al-Huda Ploso, Pacitan Regency, , namely students can improve their learning outcomes and reduce the level of addiction to playing gadget

Abstract

Through in-depth interviews with principals and homeroom teachers, this research reveals a comprehensive discipline enforcement mechanism as well as a humanist approach in fostering student behavior. The results show that the implementation of school rules is built through systematic collaboration between principals, teachers, staff, and parents. Some of the main strategies implemented include: Formation of a collective agreement at the beginning of the semester, implementation of sustainable programs such as Teacher Working Group (KKG) and Study Group (KOMBEL), persuasive approach in sanctioning, and continuous communication with parents. The key findings of this study show that an effective discipline approach focuses not only on enforcing rules, but also on building student awareness. This is achieved through educational academic assignments, constructive discussions, and continuous monitoring. The sanctions applied are academic and psychological, rather than physical, with the aim of raising students' intelligence and awareness. The conclusion of this study states that success in implementing school rules is highly dependent on the active involvement of all stakeholders, flexibility in adjusting the rules, and commitment to the school

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Literacy Cloud in improving the oral reading skills of third-grade students at SD Negeri 60 Palembang. The background of the study is based on students’ low oral reading proficiency, limited reading interest, and difficulties in expressing texts with proper intonation. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was used. Data were analyzed to determine the impact of the intervention on students' reading performance. The results indicate that the use of Literacy Cloud significantly enhances students’ oral reading skills. These findings suggest that Literacy Cloud is a promising digital literacy tool for primary education

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects in grade IV students at SDN 33 Banyuasin III. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a saturated research method, where grade IV teachers are the subjects and grade IV students are the respondents. The instruments used in data collection include interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. The research procedure is carried out through the stages of planning, implementing data collection, data analysis, and compiling reports. The results of this study indicate that students' learning difficulties include a lack of understanding of concepts, as well as limitations in using learning media. To overcome this, teachers apply strategies such as the use of interactive media, project-based learning approaches, providing individual guidance, and strengthening motivation in learning. These strategies are able to increase student participation and understanding in the IPAS learning process

Abstract

Islamic schools continue to face challenges such as low student motivation and monotonous learning environments. This study aims to examine the relevance of Islamic school management and edutainment-based learning approaches in addressing these issues. Using a library research method, data were obtained from journals, books, theses, dissertations, and online articles. The findings indicate that: (1) Edutainment promotes enjoyable and engaging learning experiences that enhance student motivation; (2) Edutainment-based Islamic school management emphasizes creativity, innovation, and a humanistic approach; (3) The principles of edutainment align with Islamic educational values that focus on humanizing students. Therefore, edutainment offers a strategic approach to improving both management and learning practices in Islamic schools

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan, efktivitas serta faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran kita Ta’limul Muta’allim dalam meningkatkan akhlakul karimah santri. Kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim adalah salah satu rujukan yang digunakan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral. Latar belakang penelitian ini untuk membentuk peserta didik yang berakhlakul karimah sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim yang dilaksanakan satu minggu sekali memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan akhlakul karimah peserta didik. Efektivitas pembelajaran kitab Ta’limul Muta’allim dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaran, lingkungan pesantren serta pengawasan dan keteladanan yang diberikan oleh para ustadz ustadzah di pesantren

Abstract

Game adalah permainan yang dapat diakses melalui media elektronik dan biasanya berbentuk multimedia untuk menghindari kebosanan serta memberikan rasa kepuasan kepada pemain. Namun, game online juga dapat memengaruhi akhlak dan perkembangan anak secara signifikan. Permainan ini mampu mengubah perilaku seseorang yang awalnya berakhlak terpuji menjadi akhlak yang tercela jika dimainkan secara berlebihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh game online terhadap akhlak siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif inferensial dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata seluruh pernyataan mengenai game online mencapai 39,31%, yang menunjukkan banyak siswa cenderung setuju bahwa game online memiliki daya tarik tertentu. Namun, pandangan mengenai akhlak siswa hanya mencapai 33,43%, menunjukkan kondisi yang kurang baik. Ini menandakan meskipun game online mungkin dianggap positif dalam beberapa aspek, kualitas akhlak siswa bisa menurun jika intensitas bermainnya terlalu tinggi, yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan kesadaran moral
