Abstract

The development of the beauty industry in Indonesia has progressed from year to year so that it can open big promising business opportunities. The beauty industry is included in an industry that can increase profits or big profits so that many young entrepreneurs switch and open this business. Scarlett is a beauty product originating from Indonesia that has gone global by prioritizing natural and halal ingredients. Scarlett has various types of excellent products such as body lotions, serums, body scrubs and others. To increase brand awareness of her products, Scarlett uses a celebrity endorsement which aims to make her products more widely known by the public. Scarlett uses a celebrity endorsement from South Korea which is considered easier to hook the market in Indonesia, because there is a correlation between South Korean and Indonesian traditions and culture. In 2021, Scarlett officially partnered with Twice (Korean Girlgroup) to market their products. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of Twice's celebrity endorsements on increasing brand awareness in Scarlett's #RevealYourBeauty advertisement. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive qualitative is used to describe a phenomenon or situation that occurs in the field in detail and depth. As for this study using thematic analysis. Thematic abalysis is used because it is very flexible in its use, so it can be used to identify themes or patterns from various types of qualitative data. The results in this study are that advertisements by Scarlett x Twice can increase brand awareness of the audience. The use of Twice as a celebrity endorsement is said to be effective because Twice is one of the big girl groups from South Korea and Twice acts as a communicator in Scarlett's advertisements so that this can influence the audience to know about Scarlett's products.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah membuat model pemetaan pikiran dalam upaya menggali potensi desa. Kegiatan di awali dengan merumuskan masalah, menambahkan kajian teoritis, pengumpulan data dan penyampelan, analisis data dan penyimpulan teoritik. Dalam proses analisis dengan pengkodean terbuka, ditemukan banyak sekali potensi desa mulai dari laut hingga umur penduduk, kemudian pada pengkodean terporos, potensi-potensi tersebut ditentukan berdasarkan kategorinya yaitu fisik dan sosial. Adapun yang termasuk potensi fisik adalah laut, pesisir pantai, sungai, perkebunan, air terjun, dan cagar alam. Sedangkan yang termasuk potensi sosial adalah angka putus sekolah, jenis pekerjaan, kemiskinan, dan umur penduduk. Potensi yang disebutkan adalah contoh, Jika diekplorasi dan dibuat secara rinci maka akan lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims at Self Management Techniques for Students of the Communication Studies Program in preventing TikTok addiction at Dehasen University, Bengkulu. Analysis of self-management technique communication activities to prevent TikTok addiction is an effort to manage and control the use of the TikTok application in a healthy manner. Through self-management techniques, such as self-monitoring, self-rewarding, self-contracting, and self-control, individuals can develop self-awareness, set clear boundaries, manage strong urges, and devise alternative plans to prevent TikTok addiction. This study used qualitative research methods. Qualitative research methods are research methods used to research on natural object conditions, where researchers are key instructions, data collection techniques are carried out in a combined manner, data analysis is inductive and research results emphasize meaning rather than generalizations. The research results obtained are in this analysis, it is discussed how these communication activities can help individuals maintain a balanced use of TikTok, avoid addiction, and maintain their well-being. Through strong internal communication and consistent implementation of self-management techniques, individuals can develop better self-control in their use of TikTok and maintain balance in daily life.

Abstract

Kode Etik Kehumasan merupakan pedoman atau rambu-rambu berperilaku atau bersikap tindak bagi penyandang profesi Humas yang etis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Etika Humas Dinas Kominfo Dalam Menangani Permasalahan Jalan Rusak di Hibrida Kota Bengkulu. Alasan penulis melakukan penelitian ini agar penulis mengetahui Humas sudah bekerja sesuai dengan Kode Etik Kehumasan dan menerapkan etika yang baik saat berhadapan dengan masyarakat maupun atasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kualitatif dengan data dijabarkan secara deskriptif dengan teknik analisa data menggunakan teknik purposive  sampling. Teori penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kode Etik Kehumasan (Perhumas, 2020). Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa Humas Dinas Kominfo telah menerapkan etika yang baik saat menangani permasalahan jalan rusak di Hibrida Kota Bengkulu, Humas sudah berlaku jujur dalam menyampaikan informasi, hubungan antara Humas dengan atasan juga berjalan baik, dan komunikasi antar Humas dengan atasan juga berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu tidak ada Humas yang melakukan tindakan atau mengeluarkan ucapan yang merendahkan martabatnya, dan tidak ada Humas yang menerima bayaran dari pihak manapun selain dari atasanya sendiri. Serta Humas sudah memperhatikan masyarakat dengan menyampaikan keluhan tersebut kepada Walikota Bengkulu dan Humas dituntut untuk tidak terlibat diri dalam tindak memanipulasi integritas sarana maupun jalur komunikasi massa dan Humas dituntut untuk tidak memberikan informasi yang tidak benar terkhusus informasi mengenai permasalahan jalan rusak di Hibrida Kota Bengkulu. dan Humas juga harus selalu senantiasa membantu untuk kepentingan Indonesia. Perilaku yang sudah diterapkan oleh Humas ini termasuk didalam teori kode etik kehumasan (Perhumas, 2020) dalam pasal 2 dan pasal 3.

Abstract

This study aims to discover (1) the implementation of the policy in managing operational assistance for islamic boarding schools at the Regional Office of the Ministry Of Religios Affairs of Gorontalo Province, (2) the determinants of the policy implementation in managing operational assistance for islamic boarding school at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religios Affairs of Gorontalo Province in terms of its communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure, Furthermore, this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, wheres the data collection is conducted using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the study results, (1) the process of managing operational assistance for Islamic boarding schools at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Gorontalo Province, encompassing aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation and monitoring have been carried out properly. However, several Islamic boarding schools do not meet the requirements, such as not having an IZOP (operational license), the will to access SIMBA (Assistance Management Information System) aplication, and the requirements, in proposing a proposal or a budget plan. Moreover, (2) the determinants of the policy implementation in managing operational assistance for Islamic boarding schools, in the aspect of communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure, have been carried out as well as possible, However, according, to the available resources, Islamic boarding schools remain inadequate. For instance, the operators of Islamic boarding schools have not been able to control and apply SIMBA application and it primarily causes by network contraints and server maintenance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Performance of Public Relations Employees at the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) Representative of Bengkulu Province. This study uses a normative legal approach in the form of laws and regulations, official records or treatises in legislators, books, expert opinions, and scientific journals. Sources of research data were obtained through direct interviews with respondents or related parties or through questionnaires in the form of a collection of questions about the Performance of Public Relations Employees at the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) Representative of Bengkulu Province. In this study, the research results describe the performance (work results) of the Public Relations section of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Bengkulu Province Representative based on the duties and functions of the Public Relations section which consists of: managing the library, secretariat, protocol, preparing information needed by the head of the representative, as well as updating data on SIMAK application in measuring work unit KPI and DEP storage in the scope of BPK Representative Office of Bengkulu Province, and communication facilitator to the public through website media. The results of the study describe that: (1) BPK Representative of Bengkulu Province has managed the library according to the applicable library management principles, so that the library can provide optimal benefits for readers. (2) In the secretarial field, the Public Relations Section prepares several equipment such as computers and others to administer incoming and outgoing letters at the BPK Representative Office of Bengkulu Province. (3) The Public Relations Division cooperates with related parties in the framework of implementing protocol activities both inside and outside the representative office in accordance with applicable regulations. (4) Public Relations has prepared information relating to the inspection required by the Head of Representative in accordance with standard operating procedures. (5) SIMAK BPK RI is a web-based internet application. In this case, the BPK Representative Office of Bengkulu Province has carried out the assignment in accordance with standard operating procedures. (6) Examination Entity Data (DEP) is a collection of data related to entities that are objects of inspection, previously known as Regional Master Dozir (DIW). (7) With a website that supports communication with the public, public relations activities become more flexible, more effective and even more efficient when compared to those carried out in the real world

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada penelitian hukum empiris menurut filsafat hukum. Jenis penelitian hukum empiris atau sosiologis ialah metode penelitian hukum yang berorientasi pada peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi dalam praktek atau dalam suatu perusahaan, badan hukum atau kewenangan, dan yang secara langsung diperoleh data seperti wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, sampel, dan lain-lain yang digunakan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengkaji studi kasus penerapan prinsip restorative justice dalam menyelesaikan perkara pidana. Secara konseptual, restorative justice atau keadilan restoratif sering diartikan sebagai penyelesaian perkara tindak pidana dengan melibatkan pelaku, korban, keluarga pelaku/korban dan pihak lain yang terkait untuk bersama-sama mencari penyelesaian yang adil dengan menekankan pemulihan kembali pada keadaan semula, bukan pembalasan. Penyelesaian perkara tidak hanya semata-mata mempidanakan atau memenjarakan pelaku akan tetapi yang utama adalah memulihkan korban pada keadaan semula, sehingga tujuan pembentukan hukum tidak hanya mencapai kepastian dan kemanfaatan saja, melainkan lebih kepada tujuan keadilan itu sendiri. Untuk merealisasikan pelaksanaan restorative justice diwilayah hukum Kota Samarinda, telah dibangun Rumah Restorative Justice Wadah Benaung yang diharapkan sebagai media penyelesaian perkara pidana dengan prinsip restorative justice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze student interpersonal communication during presentations in class (Study on Student Batch 2022 Communication Studies, University of Dehasen Bengkulu). This type of research uses qualitative research methods. The informant's shopping technique uses a snowball sample. There are 3 classes in semester 2, namely A1, A2, A3. Data collection techniques with observation, interview techniques, and documentation studies. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be interpreted that of the nine theories, namely the source, the source or the communicator who first opened the presentation in class, it began with students whose clusters served as moderators. Encoding when presenting, the communicator uses Indonesian, sometimes also the semantic regional language, not all students in the class understand what the communicator means. Acceptance of presentations sometimes do not understand what is conveyed by the communicator, if someone does not understand, they can ask the communicator. Channels are used in filtering, communicators are assisted by using laptops in their lighting, some are displaying on the blackboard and using papers and PPT. Decoding all went smoothly communication communication with the communicator. The students' responses understood and understood the material presented. Disturbance (noise), which became a distraction was the noisy sound of the presentation participants which caused distractions and the audience who were busy with their respective cellphones. The context of communication is that communication runs smoothly and well during the presentation.

Abstract

The activities of the DPRD public relations and secretariat section to increase the publication of Kaur Regency DPRD activities are carried out to cover and publish activities carried out by DPRD leaders and members to be conveyed to the public so that the public can know about the activities carried out by DPRD members for the 2019-2024 term as bearers of the legislative mandate. that society has given. There are many problems that occur in the implementation of coverage and publication of the activities of the leaders and members of the Kaur Regency DPRD, including poor internet signal, frequent power outages, journalistic staff in the public relations department and protocols that do not exist, and the attitude of the people in Kaur Regency that does not follow activities carried out by the people's representatives. The aim of this research is to describe and understand the implementation of policies in the public relations section of the DPRD secretariat to increase the publication of Kaur Regency DPRD activities which will be studied using George C. Edward III's theory. The research method uses a qualitative research approach. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, documentation studies and triangulation. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of policies by the public relations section of the DPRD secretariat to increase the publication of Kaur Regency DPRD activities which are studied using Edward III's theory is quite good.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri kosmetik dan make-up mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan sejak tahun 2019. Hal ini tak luput dari peran beauty vloggers dalam hal konten kecantikan melalui video blog yang mereka unggah ke dalam media sosial. YouTube merupakan media sosial dengan jumlah pengguna terbanyak di Indonesia menurut WeAreSocial. Selain itu, YouTube juga dipercaya dapat memberikan dampak yang baik dalam mempengaruhi keputusan seseorang dalam penggunaan make-up. Maka adapun, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh pesan tayangan video blog dengan mengukur isi pesan terhadap minat penggunaan dan pembelian make-up bagi remaja perempuan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif berarti mengumpulkan data namun bukan berupa angka melainkan dimana data tersebut berasal dari naskah wawancara, catatan lapangan, dokumen pribadi, catatan memo, dan dokumen resmi lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap channel youtube Tasya Farasya dengan menganalisis kebanyakan remaja perempuan yang menjadi penonton dan pengikutnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh baik secara persial maupun simultan antara pesan video tayangan blog terhadap minat penggunaan make-up bagi remaja perempuan.
