Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of Game Based Learning in Informatics subjects on the Merdeka Curriculum in class VII-A as a control class and VII-I as an experimental class at SMP Negeri 5 Tangerang. The demands of learning programs urge teaching staff to always be innovative and creative in developing learning styles. However, in Informatics subjects, teachers only provide things that have been written in books and only focus on fulfilling the material without considering the learning output later even though in the independent curriculum, teachers are free to compile the material. The research aims to prove the hypothesis that motivation and learning achievement can be influenced by innovative learning models. This alternative applies an online game-based learning model with computational thinking material. The method used is an unequal control group experimental design. The use of motivation questionnaires and learning achievement tests are the instruments of this research. The research results show a significant increase in student learning motivation as well as student learning achievement because they have implemented the presentation of game-based learning methods for research classes in Informatics subjects

Abstract

Honest and disciplined character is the foundation of values in forming individuals who have superior and responsible qualities. To build these two characters, teachers have certain roles and strategies. This research aims to explain the various roles and strategies of Hindu religious teachers at SMAN 4 Palangka Raya City in building honest and disciplined character. Role theory and gestalt cognitive theory are used as the basis for analysis. Research method with a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, data collection was carried out through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and document studies. On the other hand, data analysis is carried out through an interactive model, which includes the entire process of data collection, sorting, presentation, and conclusions. Based on the analysis, the role of Hindu religious teachers in building honest and disciplined character includes the role of a catalyst; namely, the teacher acts more as a role model by emphasizing speech or words that are always based on the heart or conscience. Another role is as a guide, through the experiences they have and referring to Hindu teaching sources. The next role is as a motivator, encouraging students to comply with class and school rules by providing rewards or sanctions. Meanwhile, the strategy used by Hindu religious teachers is to integrate the concepts of honesty and discipline into Hindu religious lessons. The next strategy is to always try to create a conducive environment, namely by writing wise sentences on the walls of classrooms, libraries, and trash cans with the aim of making students aware of the importance of honest and disciplined character. The final strategy is to collaborate with parents or students' families on an ongoing basis

Abstract

The Education Statistics course is given to students in semester V to introduce students to quantitative data analysis techniques in research in the form of a thesis as a graduation requirement for Strata 1 students. The purpose of this study is to describe the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis of the use of SPSS applications in the Education Statistics course in Semester V students of the Study Program in Hindu Education, Faculty of Dharma Acarya UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This study describes qualitative data obtained from filling out surveys through google forms links. The research findings were that there were 22 variations of answers from students related to strength analysis, there were 12 variations of answers from students related to weakness analysis, there were 7 variations of answers from students related to opportunity analysis and there were 7 variations of answers from students related to threat analysis. The most survey results about strength are answers "more practical in doing data processing" amounting to 15.4%. The largest survey result about weaknesses was the answer "Large application size makes some devices with less high specifications will be heavy enough to run SPSS applications" at 40.4%. The highest survey result was the answer to "Mastering data processing in quantitative research" at 51.9%. The largest survey results on threats are answered: "The data processing process must be based on appropriate steps; Making conclusions from the results of data processing using the SPSS application must be exactly 30.8%.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the correlation between the implementation of the perennial education philosophy and multicultural education in fostering an attitude of religious moderation. Reflecting on the reality that the concept of religious moderation is a very hot topic to be discussed at the moment, it is deemed necessary to revitalize the concept of multicultural education, which is actually not a new concept. In this revitalization effort, it seems that the perennial educational philosophy as a philosophical basis will contribute to the formation of a curriculum towards multicultural education. In article, the literature review method is used with data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, verification and conclusion. The results of the study outlined in this paper show that multicultural education is an important substance to be applied in the world of education to foster an open attitude for the development of students cognition. In order to implement multicultural education in the education system, it is necessary to have a curriculum which is the main framework. The preparation of this curriculum is carried out in two processes, namely the formation of a drafting committee and the curriculum preparation process by referring to the principles of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, continuity and flexibility. It is at this stage that the insertion of perennial philosophy can be carried out and can become a spirit for the structured curriculum. If multicultural education can be implemented, then the government's efforts to create a moderate society, especially in the realm of religion, can be carried out more optimally.

Abstract

Masyarakat Hindu di Dusun Eyat Kandel Desa Suranadi merupakan salah satu masyarakat perdesaan namun dibalik itu semua ada sesuatu yang menarik yang dapat kita temukan yang berkaitan dengan komitmen masyarakat dalam mempertahankan keberagamaanya sehingga tingkat sradha dan bhakti para remaja di Dusun Eyat Kandel tampak utuh sesuai Budaya Bali yang secara turun temurun di wariskan oleh para orang tua kepada anak-anaknya. Berbagai aktivitas para remaja yang berada di Dusun tersebut dimulai dengan aktif kegiatan Sekhe Truna Truni yang setiap bulan ngumpul sangkep, ngayah, latihan Tari Tarian, Bleganjur, Metabuh dan kegiatan pembelajaran di pasraman seperti yoga, upakara, dharmagita dan sembahyang bulanan. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengeksplorisasi Pendidikan Keluarga Berbasis Nilai Nilai Agama Hindu Berbudaya Bali Dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Remaja di Dusun Eyat Kandel Desa Suranadi Kecamatan Narmada. Dengan menggunakan Metode Kualitatif dengan analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui Metode Observasi Wawancara Dan Dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui Strategi Implementasi Pendidikan Keluarga Berbasis Nilai – Nilai Agama Hindu Berbudaya Bali Dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Remaja Di Dusun Eyat Kandel Desa Suranadi Kecamatan Narmada yaitu 1) Orang tua Sering Melakukan Bincang-Bincang dengan Anak; 2) Orang Tua Memberikan Nasehat Kepada Anak Remaja 3) Memberikan contoh secara lasung kepada para anak remajanya. Implikasi Implementasi Pendidikan Keluarga Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Agama Hindu Berbudaya Bali Dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Remaja di Dusun Eyat Kandel Desa Suranadi Kecamatan Narmada yaitu secara tatwa, Susila dan upacara Hambatan yang Dihadapi Orang Tua Dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Remaja yang Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Agama Hindu Berbudaya Bali di Dusun Eyat Kandel Desa Suranadi Kecamatan Narmada yaitu 1) pergaulan para anak remaja yang sulit di kontrol oleh orang tua. 2) sikap etika atau prilaku para remaja yang sering banyak kemauan 3) pemahaman praktek agama Hindu yang masih kurang 4) penggunaan Gadget yang berlebihaan.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a study of the learning management of the Pasraman Sad Dharma Dwijendra Mataran at the Dharma Laksana Foundation.This research was conducted using qualitative methods with descriptive data analysis. Data collection techniques used in this study were non-participatory observation techniques, structured and unstructured interview techniques, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Based on the results of the study, four findings were foud, namely 1). Lesson plans prepared by the teacher or Acarya include attendance, learning materials, learning models, strategies and methods, facilities and infrastructure, media, planning evaluation and paying attention to thr preparation of student or Brahmacari2). The organization of learning carried out by the teacher or Acarya includes organizing the learning schedule, organizing learning haours, organizing classes, organizing learning materials and resources, as well as organizing student or Brahmacari, 3). The implementation of learning carried out by the teacher or Acarya includes three stages, namely the preliminary activity stage, the core activity stage, the final learning activity stage; 4). The form of supervision or evaluation carried out by the teacher or Acarya is using practical methods, direct observation, and giving test orally and in writing to measure and know the skills and understanding of student or Brahmacari towards learning material.

Abstract

The learning process should be designed to stimulate students' critical thinking abilities, especially in addressing various contextual problems. This research aims to examine the implementation of problem-based learning models in the subject of Integrated Science (IPAS) in elementary schools in Gugus V, Abiansemal District. The significance of this research is to provide a detailed review of the stages of implementing problem-based learning models, from preparation to execution, and the challenges faced by elementary school teachers. This research is of a qualitative nature. The research subjects are fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Abiansemal and SD Negeri 2 Blahkiuh, chosen through purposive sampling. Data sources for this research include observations, interviews, and literature reviews. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and data summarization. The results of the implementation of the problem-based learning model can be seen in several stages: (1) the preparation stage involves preparing lesson plans and defining a set of problems that will serve as the starting point for discussing the subject matter. (2) In the implementation stage, teachers form student groups and guide them in working on problem-solving tasks. (3) During the evaluation stage, teachers not only assess students' work but also evaluate the problems as obstacles encountered by students during the learning process. In conclusion, elementary school teachers in Gugus V, Abiansemal District, have successfully implemented the problem-based learning model for the IPAS subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the used of the suggestopedia method in learning English and the effectiveness of the suggestopedia method in increasing understanding of English vocabulary at Stikes Buleleng Pharmacy Study Program. This type of research was descriptive quantitative and qualitative research with the type of classroom action research (CAR). The subjects and place of this research were 41 students in the first semester of the Pharmacy Study Program. In collecting data, researcher used observation techniques, documentation, and measurement of learning achievement tests. As for the analysis, researcher used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results shows that (1) the suggestopedia method was well applied in learning English and this was shown by the results of student observations, that the enthusiasm and activeness of students were very high in participating in learning by using suggestopedia method. (2) Learning by using suggestopedia method in English subjects has been declared effective, this is indicated by the results of student observations and student learning outcomes that have reached the criteria determined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of moral and ethical guidance at SMA Negeri 3 Mataram through sradha and Bhakti activities. Moral and ethics are important in the world of education because at this time students are very vulnerable to moral and ethical degradation. This guidance is an effort by teachers to help individuals understand and apply moral and ethical principles in everyday life. This research is a qualitative approach that uses data collection methods in the form of non-participant direct observation, structured direct interviews and documentation. In this study, data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that teachers have an important role in moral and ethical guidance at SMA Negeri 3 Mataram. teachers are not just supervisors who oversee the activities but more than that teachers have a role as role models, motivators, support systems, and enforcers of justice. Although the implementation of guidance does not experience significant obstacles, the obstacles that are often experienced by teachers are students who arrive late and students who are stubborn and difficult to communicate personally.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a description of the application of animation media in learning Hindu Religious Education at SDN 2 Sokong. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is to address real problems experienced by teachers and students in the classroom, especially Hindu Religious Education lessons. Researchers as implementers and observers looked at the active learning of 21 students for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection by observation and interviews. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and diagrams. The research results showed that animation media was able to increase student activity during learning by 17 percent and the first cycle student learning outcomes reached 30 percent who obtained a score above 90 with an average score of 83.85. The learning process using animation media resulted in an increase in learning outcomes, namely reaching 76 percent with a score above 90 or an average of 94.19 in the second cycle. Thus, the use of animated learning media increases learning activities and learning achievement in Hindu Religious Education at SDN 2 Sokong.
