Abstract

The learning process should be designed to stimulate students' critical thinking abilities, especially in addressing various contextual problems. This research aims to examine the implementation of problem-based learning models in the subject of Integrated Science (IPAS) in elementary schools in Gugus V, Abiansemal District. The significance of this research is to provide a detailed review of the stages of implementing problem-based learning models, from preparation to execution, and the challenges faced by elementary school teachers. This research is of a qualitative nature. The research subjects are fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Abiansemal and SD Negeri 2 Blahkiuh, chosen through purposive sampling. Data sources for this research include observations, interviews, and literature reviews. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and data summarization. The results of the implementation of the problem-based learning model can be seen in several stages: (1) the preparation stage involves preparing lesson plans and defining a set of problems that will serve as the starting point for discussing the subject matter. (2) In the implementation stage, teachers form student groups and guide them in working on problem-solving tasks. (3) During the evaluation stage, teachers not only assess students' work but also evaluate the problems as obstacles encountered by students during the learning process. In conclusion, elementary school teachers in Gugus V, Abiansemal District, have successfully implemented the problem-based learning model for the IPAS subject.

Abstract

Differentiated instruction is implemented to support the application of the Merdeka Curriculum. Teachers need to have a good understanding before implementing differentiated instruction. The study aims to determine and analyze the understanding of elementary school teachers regarding differentiated instruction at Bali Q-Ta School (SD Bali Q-Ta), as well as to identify the constraints in its implementation. The research was conducted using mixed methods. The subjects of this study were all elementary school teachers at SD Bali Q-Ta. Research data was obtained using questionnaires and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively. Findings indicate that the understanding of elementary school teachers at SD Bali Q-Ta falls into the "very good" category, with an average score of 77.9. The constraints faced by elementary school teachers at SD Bali Q-Ta include: (1) the preparation, implementation, and evaluation requiring a significant amount of time; (2) difficulties in preparing diverse teaching aids; (3) errors in diagnosing student needs; and (4) difficulties in developing suitable assessment instruments tailored to student needs Highlights: Differentiated Instruction: Tailoring teaching methods to accommodate diverse student needs. Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is designed to overcome post-pandemic educational challenges. The Merdeka Curriculum provides students to carry out learning activities freely, which means that they can think independently, innovative, learn autonomously, and be creative. To support The Merdeka Curriculum implementation in teaching, teachers can apply differentiated learning where students can study subjects according to their abilities, preferences, and needs. However, the enthusiasm of teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum is not matched with equitable training on differentiated learning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to obtain an overview of differentiated learning understanding on elementary school teachers in the context of Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data was collected by administering questionnaires to the principals and teachers from 14 elementary schools. The questionnaires were used to measure elementary school teachers' understanding of differentiated learning, while interviews were conducted to obtain additional information regarding elementary school teachers' comprehension of differentiated learning. The data obtained is then analyzed descriptively. This study revealed that many elementary school teachers do not understand well about differentiated learning due to a lack of training and mentoring. Teachers improve their Merdeka Curriculum and differentiated learning understanding independently through the "Merdeka Mengajar" Platform. Only a few teachers apply differentiated learning because of their lack understanding. They have strong motivation to learn differentiated learning, which is inhibited by many tasks as classroom and homeroom teachers.

Abstract

One of the most important methods in Natural Sciences learning is practicum. The problem faced by the Department of Primary School Teacher Education, I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University, Denpasar, is that the implementation of science practicums has not been optimal due to the absence of science practicum guides and facilities. The solution to this problem is developing practicum implementation by providing practicum guides that are able to facilitate existing limitations. This research uses research and development methods that aims to develop a science practicum guide starting from exploring science material to developing a YouTube-based science practicum guide to enhance student practicum implementation. Results showed that the validity test results gained validity score of 89% which means valid. After being applied to students, they also received responses in the categories of strongly agree and agree. Thus, showed that the practicum guide utilizable as a supplement in teaching materials so as to support the improvement of practicum implementation among students.

Abstract

The phenomenon of fatherlessness in Indonesia is an issue that cannot be ignored, considering the importance of the role of fathers in character formation, emotional well-being, and family economic stability. The figure of the father not only functions as a breadwinner, but also as an educator, role model, and the main supporter in the development of children. Active father involvement contributes to the child's psychological balance, preventing negative impacts such as low self-confidence, difficulties in building social relationships, and an increased risk of mental problems. In addition, the role of men in society also contributes to community strengthening and inclusive social development. This service activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of the presence and involvement of fathers and men in family and social life. One form of implementation of this program is the organization of a letter writing competition for fathers as a medium of reflection and appreciation. This activity is expected to be able to build collective awareness about the importance of the father figure, strengthen emotional relationships in the family, and encourage the community to appreciate the role of men in various aspects of life. Thus, this activity contributes to building a culture of appreciation for the role of fathers and encourages the active participation of men in forming a more harmonious family and community.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the level of ChatGPT application usage among university students in digital learning era. This study adopts a quantitative research method, utilizing a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The questionnaire consists of closed-ended questions using a Likert sccale with 4 options: Strongly Agree (SA), Agree (A), Disagree (D), and Strongly Disagree (SD). The questionnaire comprises 6 indicators, elaborated into 30 statement items. The results of the Validity Test show that the overall calculated r value is greater than the r-table value, at a significance level of 5%. The Reliability Test results indicate that the coefficient alpha reliability (Cronbach Alpha) in each indicator is greater than 0.5, indicating that the research instrument is reliable. This study involved 60 respondents, who are students from the Department of Primary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Dharma Acarya, State Hindu University of I Gussti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. The research findings show the average percentage across all indicators, revealing that 25.33% of respondents strongly agree, while 45% agree with the use of ChatGPT in lectures. Additionally, an average of 27.83% of respondents disagree with the use of ChatGPT in lectures, and 1.83% strongly disagree. It can be concluded that 70.33% of respondents support the implementation of ChatGPT in the learning process in the digital era.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS), khususnya pada topik Tahap Pertumbuhan pada Manusia di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kesiman. Rendahnya hasil belajar ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi dan tidak kontekstual terhadap latar belakang budaya siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media diorama berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental jenis nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional dan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media diorama berbasis CRT. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (88,17) dibandingkan kelas kontrol (76,67). Uji-t independent sample menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media diorama berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD Negeri 1 Kesiman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi ice breaking literasi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila sebagai upaya menumbuhkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas III di SD Negeri 3 Antapan, Kecamatan Baturiti, Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ice breaking literasi diterapkan secara sistematis pada tahap awal, inti, dan akhir pembelajaran. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi permainan kata, lagu, kuis, serta aktivitas literasi sederhana yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Dampak dari penerapan metode ini antara lain peningkatan antusiasme, keaktifan, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi, serta terciptanya suasana belajar yang kondusif dan menyenangkan. kendala yang dihadapi guru antara lain siswa yang suka mencari perhatian berlebihan dan kesulitan guru dalam menciptakan ice breaking literasi. Namun kendala tersebut diatasi dengan memberikan teguran kepada siswa serta pemanfaatan sumber daya dan teknologi. Kesimpulannya, ice breaking literasi merupakan pendekatan efektif dan aplikatif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada tingkat sekolah dasar di Gugus VI di Kecamatan Sukawati. Penelitian ini menjadi penting untuk mengulas persiapan, pelaksanaan hingga kendala yang ditemukan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas empat pada Sekolah Dasar di Gugus VI Kecamatan Sukawati Kabupaten Gianyar, meliputi SD Negeri 7 Batubulan, SD Negeri 2 Batubulan, dan SD Ganesha Nusantara. Penelitian ini dapat dikumpulkan dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasilnya proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah diawali dengan (1) tahap persiapan yakni menyiapkan masalah yang berkaitan dengan materi serta berdasarkan RPP. (2) tahap pelaksanaan guru membentuk kelompok siswa, selanjutnya diarahkan untuk mengerjaan tugas berupa pemecahan masalah. Tahap ini guru juga lebih banyak memberikan bimbingan kepada siswa dalam menemukan penyelesaian masalah. (3) tahap evaluasi guru tidak hanya menilai hasil karya siswa, namun juga mengevaluasi permasalahan sebagai kendala yang dihadapi siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru sekolah dasar di Gugus VI Kecamatan Sukawati telah dapat menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, walaupun masih ditemukan sejumlah kendala namun hal tersebut masih bisa diatasi oleh guru.Kata Kunci:AnalisisPenerapanPembelajaran Berbasis Masalah
