Abstract

Improvements in education and curriculum must be carried out in line with the development of science. It is done to create a proper and correct education system. Frequent changes in educational curricula present some problems. The education curriculum in Indonesia has undergone twelve changes but is still experiencing problems that tend to be the same as those faced by previous curricula. The purpose of this study is to offer a model of Ralph Tyler's curriculum development and its implications for learning the Al-Qur’an Hadith at the elementary school level. The research method used in this study is qualitative methods. Researchers look for references in various mass media to clarify the information in this study. This type of research is a literature study, so it attaches great importance to information and clarity from the mass media in developing and identifying the case. Tyler's curriculum development model has several advantages and disadvantages. Elementary school is one level of education unit that can describe and identify how Tyler's curriculum can develop, especially in learning the Al-Qur’an and Hadith. Tyler's curriculum describes how a student gains experience during learning activities. Learning Al-Qur’an Hadith must have clear goals and provide useful learning experiences for students. The results of this study indicate that there are four forms of curriculum design for Al-Qur’an Hadith learning. First, it must determine the expected educational goals or outputs. Second, it determines the learning experience. Third, it organizes the learning experience. Fourth, it evaluates the effectiveness of the learning experience.

Abstract

There are several criticisms directed at the learning process of Islamic Religious Education in schools. Some arguments state that Islamic Religious Education learning does not show significant progress in changing student behavior and attitudes. Most critics argue that the learning process of Islamic Religious Education only focuses on the cognitive aspects of students not the affective aspect. This study aims to explore the development model of Islamic Religious Education through religious culture at SMAN 1 Wonosobo. This study tries to provide a comprehensive understanding of the implications of Islamic Religious Education on the transformation of students' religiosity through religious culture. The results of the study show : 1) the development of Islamic Religious Education is formed through activities outside the learning process; 2) activities outside the learning process are designed to become a religious culture consisting of two models. The first is organic-systemic which is based on school policies and the second is the initiative of Islamic Religious Education teachers, 3) the manifestation of student religiosity can be seen from the changing focus of Islamic Religious Education from mastery and understanding of religious teachings to growing self-awareness to form religious attitudes in school.

Abstract

WhatsApp Group (WAG) is one favorite choice for an online learning platform in this Covid-19 pandemic era. It is accessible, quite cheap, and user-friendly. Meanwhile, one of the activities in online English learning via WAG is a class group division named Students' Group Presentation (SGP). The aim is to train the students to manage online learning in their classes confidently. Therefore, this study is to describe the lecturer's experience in handling SGP through WhatsApp Group. It provides the learning steps and strategies to maximize the SGP performance. It is not merely presenting the topics, but they also should be creative to live up to the online learning atmosphere. This study is qualitative research and the data were collected from SGP activities in WAG. Firstly, the lecturer gives the example to give the presentations online through WAG such as warming up, brainstorming, main-course, cooling down, giving quote of the day (QOTD), and then closing. Furthermore, the team made presentations alternately at each meeting according to the lecturer's presentation model in several meetings. It is hoped that the results of this study will give contributions and ideas for other lecturers and researchers in teaching English online via WhatsApp.

Abstract

This research develops a Microsoft Excel application based on the Visual Basic for Application (VBA) Assessment Matrix of 9 Standard Bachelor Programs with product advantages. They are a matrix display with simpler sentences, accreditation assessment, a dashboard of assessment results, and an information system following LKPS to facilitate the manufacture of LEDs based on Quadrant Evaluation. The 4-D development design method is carried out through 4 stages: define, design, develop, and dissemination. The defined stage includes an analysis of the needs of study program managers facing accreditation, an assessment matrix of 9 standard study programs, and dashboard analysis. The design stage includes the selection of the calculation format, dashboard format, and the initial design of the Excel program (prototype I). The development stage is the validation of the initial product design, with the results of the assessment of the content aspect being 4,6250 valid criteria, displaying 4,3750 valid criteria and 4,1250 valid criteria for programmers (prototype II). Limited trials were carried out on all members of SPMI UNUGHA. Each item scored more than or equal to 3.75, with an average of 4.3276, which means it is feasible with a very good rating. (prototype III). The first year the field trial was conducted at the Nahdlatul Ulama University Mathematics Study Program, Purwokerto. Each item scored more than or equal to 3.75, with an average of 4.1354, which means it is feasible with a very good rating. (prototype IV). The dissemination stage (prototype 4) is carried out in two forms: scientific publications in SINTA accredited national journals (INSANIA: Journal of Alternative Educational Thought) and intellectual works: Microsoft Excel applications based on Visual Basic for Application (VBA) Undergraduate Program Assessment Matrix 9 Standards. (Final project).
