Abstract

Exchange rates influence economic growth by comparing a country's currency with other currencies. In a globalized world, currency exchange rates linked to monetary policy worry businesses and governments. This research examines how M2, inflation, and FDI influence the Indonesian exchange rate simultaneously and differently. This research uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that inflation and M2 (money supply) have a positive and significant effect on the exchange rate. Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) is somewhat detrimental and has a significant impact. Then, M2, inflation, and FDI all influence the exchange rate simultaneously. This research uses quantitative data research. This research uses secondary time series data from 2016:Q1 to 2022:Q4. Inflation, PMA, M2, and currency exchange rates are used in this research.

Abstract

Inflation is an economic condition in which the costs of things and services keep going up. Most of the time, a moderate amount of inflation is good for an economy. However, high or unstable inflation can make the economy less stable. The goal of this study is to find out how the Money Supply (M2), Public Savings, and the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate all affect inflation in Indonesia at different times and in different ways. The method used for this work is multiple linear regression analysis. The study's results show that community funds have a strong and negative effect on inflation, the money supply (M2) has a strong and positive effect on inflation, and the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate has a partly negative and significant effect on inflation. Then, the BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate, the Money Supply (M2), and Public Savings all have a big effect on inflation at the same time.

Abstract

The gross regional domestic product is one of the most crucial indicators of a region's economic progress. The growth can be impacted by a variety of factors, including increased labor, increased investment, and steady or decreasing inflation. Finding the partial and simultaneous effects of labor, inflation, and investment on North Sulawesi's gross regional product is the aim of this study. Time series secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics are used in this study for the years 2008–2022. Multiple linear regression analysis with E-Views 8 was used in this research. The results showed that labor and inflation had positive and significant effects on North Sulawesi's GDP. Investment, on the other hand, had positive but not significant effects. Along with that, labor, investment, and inflation all have a positive and significant effect on North Sulawesi's gross regional domestic product.

Abstract

Gresik Regency, as a region producing siwalan trees, produces legen from the sweet liquid of siwalan flowers. Legen drinks require standards to ensure cleanliness, safety and suitability for consumption according to BPOM standards. 10 samples of legen drinks were tested for alcohol content using the dichromatometry method, showing that the alcohol content of fermented legen ranged from 4.96%-17.62%, still within safe and halal limits for consumption according to Food and Drug Control Standards Number 14 of 2016. Total Plate Results Count (TPC) shows that of the 10 samples tested, there were 2 samples that did not meet the requirements, having colony counts of 53,999 × 10-3 cfu/ml and 34,497 × 10-3 cfu/ml. In accordance with Food and Drug Control Standards Number 13 of 2019 regarding the maximum limit for fruit juice of 1 x 104 cfu/ml. That the microbiological and physical quality of Legen drinks in Gresik Regency does not always meet the safety standards of BPOM RI regulations.

Abstract

The South China Sea has become a battleground for major powers' hegemonic struggles. Indonesia, due to China's claim over the North Natuna Sea, is involved in the conflict, utilizing a force planning approach. The historical and strategic values have made the South China Sea a region of complex conflicts involving global hegemony. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. Indonesia's response includes capability-based planning through law enforcement, scenario-based planning with naval base construction, and threats-based planning through military buildup in the North Natuna Sea. This escalating conflict in the South China Sea is pulling Indonesia further into the vortex, necessitating strategic steps through a force planning approach to protect its sovereignty and interests.
