Abstract

Abstract : The essential thing that prospective MPI graduates must possess is to understand the functions of management and the development of concepts. Management functions are basic elements that are always attached and used as references by a manager in carrying out the management process to achieve efficient and effective goals and required professional skills and can be ratified into 4 (four) management functions which are abbreviated to (POAC) namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling. Initial identification of prospective graduates of MPI IAIN Takengon still lacks in understanding and implementing management functions in the world of work. This research is categorized as the quantitative research method. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to students who had completed PPL 1 and PPL 2 courses. The results showed that the percentage of prospective graduates of MPI IAIN Takengon in implementing management functions was at a good level. This is evident from the ability to implement the planning function as much as 70%, organizing as much as 71%, implementing or directing as 69%, and controlling as 70%. The total score of students' abilities in all management functions is 70%.Keyword: Work Ability, Management Functions

Abstract

In order to achieve the common goal of maintaining the country's stability from pandemics both in the economic and educational, there needs to be a slight change in strategy in the management of education. The purpose of this study was to know the strategic assessment of teachers performance in pandemic era, this study uses case study research methods. In this study produces several forms the performance assessment process, including the first stage of analyzing the situation and opinions from several sources related to teacher performance in a certain period, then conducting assessment activities on teacher performance that are closed with an evaluation of the results of activities that have been done to improve teacher performance by conveying back to the teacher.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the role of the media and public relations techniques in the context of educational institutions. Educational institutions have a big responsibility to convey information to the public, both through print media and through direct communication with stakeholders. So that the media and public relations techniques play a very important role in building a positive image of educational institutions and maintaining good relations with the public. This research uses secondary data obtained through literature studies, scientific journals, books, articles, and other sources of information related to media topics and public relations techniques in educational institutions. The data is analyzed systematically and critically to gain an in-depth understanding of the concepts, theories and practices related to the use of media and public relations techniques in an educational context. The results of this study indicate that the media and public relations techniques play an important role in building a positive image of educational institutions, increasing stakeholder engagement, and increasing effective communication between educational institutions and the community. The use of public media such as newspapers, television, radio, and social media has opened new opportunities for educational institutions to convey information widely and quickly to the public. Public relations techniques such as press conferences, promotional activities, and direct interaction with the community are also an important part of the educational institution's communication strategy. The role of media in public relations in educational institutions is very important and diverse. Educational institutions rely on media to reach a wider audience, including students, parents, prospective students, alumni, donors, policymakers and the general public.

Abstract

This study examines parental participation in educational institutions. Parents are the key to the success of a learning process at school because of their very important role, and the quality of educational institutions becomes superior if parents take part in the implementation of education. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a literature study method, researchers use several books, journals, and the results of recent observations as references. The findings reveal that parents' participation in improving the quality of educational institutions is because 1) the position of parents is very vital in educational institutions, including the results of their contributions in the form of thoughts, skills (certain expertise that a person has and can be applied in an activity), energy, property, and money. Then, the position of parents also plays a role in providing a conducive learning environment so that students can learn calmly and pleasantly; 2) synergy between schools and families (parents), and actively involved in assisting learning efforts and student development.

Abstract

Schools are social institutions that cannot be separated from their community, on the other hand, society cannot be separated from schools. Because they both have interests. Schools as formal institutions entrusted with the mandate to educate, train and guide the nation's children (community), while the community is a stakeholder or user of educational services. The success of education is not only determined by the educational process in schools and the availability of facilities and infrastructure, but is also determined by the role of the family and community. Because education is a shared responsibility of schools, families and communities. So the community has a role to think about the implementation of education and participate in providing supervision in related schools. High community participation in schools is an indicator that school management is running well. When schools are side by side with both the community and parents, it will have a big impact on the progress of the school and will have a big influence on improving the quality in schools. Efforts to involve the community in improving the quality of education in schools can be taken by (1) conducting outreach to stakeholders, including school committees. (2) Involve formal leaders outside the school to participate in owning the school, because the progress and decline of educational institutions will also have an impact on the local community. (3) Showing the program directly, in addition to educating children, it can also show the achievements that have been achieved by students, teachers or school achievements as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the source of education funds from parents in the Covid-19 era. This research was conducted using qualitative methods, with the type of case study research, where data collection used interview, observation and documentation techniques, using primary and secondary data sources that according to the research title. The discussion in this study is focused on the problems of the lower middle class in providing education funds and managing education funds. Interviews were conducted on several respondents, and the results of the interviews were analyzed to obtain emic data and ethical data as a result of the research. The results of the research include: the problems faced by the lower middle class community, namely the inability to provide school fees to their children, while for the management of sources of public education funds, they use assistance from the government and manage personal funds into small home-based businesses.

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning can improve student achievement as well. This is influenced by the teacher's teaching behavior to create a conducive learning atmosphere so that learning can run effectively. The role of the teacher is very important in designing a good lesson plan in preparing teaching materials. Modifying teaching patterns is sometimes difficult for teachers who lack this ability, so the role of this clinical supervision activity is as a place of guidance to assist the development of teacher professionalism in teaching. The process of clinical supervision is carried out face-to-face between supervisors and teachers. The supervision process is basically centered on the analysis of discussing matters relating to the teaching and learning process, the analysis is carried out based on evidence of observations that occur in the classroom. Clinical supervision is carried out based on complaints or problems from the teacher which are conveyed to the supervisor. The more often supervision activities are carried out, the more motivation the teacher can develop in developing his teaching skills. Therefore, the principle of clinical supervision is centered on efforts to meet teacher needs so that there must be collaboration and openness between supervisors and teachers in conveying ideas. The purpose of supervision is to find out the teacher's ability to teach while observing developments. Supervisors can make observations of teachers while teaching in class, then hold meetings to discuss feedback and alternative solutions to problems found, then analyze after the meeting as well as formulate solutions that can overcome teacher difficulties in teaching.

Abstract

This research originated from the problem of declining learning achievement of students of MTs Almaarif 02 Singosari Malang after the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the indicators of the decline in student learning achievement is the odd Midterm Test (UTS) results in 2021/2022 which was carried out in October 2021. From 25 students who took part in UTS, KKM scores were obtained that did not meet the completion of learning. In the results of the UTS odd semester 2021/2022 which was held in September 2021, data was obtained that the average score of grade 7 students was still below the KKM score in each field of study. This study aims to determine the influence of types of extracurricular activities and discipline on the learning achievement of students of MTs. Almaarif 02 Singosari Malang for the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used to analyze the data used logit regression with 25 active students. Indicators for determining student learning achievement using a scale of likes 1-4. The results showed that in Model logistic regression the level of influence of extracurricular types and discipline was at a fairly complete and complete level with mathematical models: [Y1=2]=10.356+0.557 X1+0.355 X2 dan  It can be concluded that extracurricular types have a significant influence on learning achievement with a significance value of 0.069 less than the error level of 10% and student discipline variables do not have a significant influence on learning achievement in grade 7 students of MTs. Almaarif  Singosari 02 Malang.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) Explaining transformational leadership on lecturer performance. (2) Explaining the effect of using information communication technology (ICT) on lecturer performance. (3) Explaining the effect of work motivation on lecturer performance. (4) Explaining the influence of transformational leadership, use of information and communication technology (ICT) and work motivation on lecturer performance. The approach in this study uses quantitative data collection using a questionnaire/questionnaire. The population of this research is lecturers of Pamekasan Madura University with a total sample of 75 lecturers. The sampling technique in this study used proportionate random sampling. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a positive influence of transformational leadership on lecturer performance, as evidenced by rejecting the Ho hypothesis with a sig value of 0.000

Abstract

AbstrakPondok pesantren memiliki peran yang sangat penting, keberadaan pondok pesantren harus mampu memenuhi tuntutan masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada di suatu daerah. Penelitian ini membahas tentang, 1) Pengertian manajemen humas di pesantren, 2) Tujuan manajemen humas di pesanten dan 3) Implementasi humas di pesantren. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Humas di pondok pesantren juga harus menyentuh tatanan masyarakat, agar masyarakat dapat memahami akan pentingnya pondok pesantren dan berpasrtisipasi didalamnya untuk peningkatan pondok pesantren. 2) Tujuan humas di pondok pesantren adalah meningkatkan aspirasi masyarakat, memberikan kesadaran akan pentingnya berakhlaqul karimah dan mencari dukungan dari masyarakat bagaimana kiranya pondok pesantren dapat berkembang sebagaimana mestinya. 3) Implementasi pondok pesantren tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pentinganya peran pengasuh, masyarakat, dan alumni dalam turut serta mengembangkan kualitas pondok pesantren An-Nasyiin.Kata Kunci: Manajemen; Humas; Pondok PesantrenAbstractIslamic boarding schools have a very important role, the existence of Islamic boarding schools must be able to meet the demands of the community by utilizing the potential that exists in an area. This study discusses, 1) Definition of public relations management in Islamic boarding schools, 2) Objectives of public relations management in Islamic boarding schools and 3) Implementation of public relations in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study show that, 1) Public relations in Islamic boarding schools must also touch the community structure, so that people can understand the importance of Islamic boarding schools and participate in them for the improvement of Islamic boarding schools. 2) The purpose of public relations in Islamic boarding schools is to increase people's aspirations, provide awareness of the importance of having good morals and seek support from the community on how Islamic boarding schools can develop properly. 3) The implementation of Islamic boarding schools cannot be separated from the important role of caregivers, the community, and alumni in participating in developing the quality of An-Nasyiin Islamic boarding schools.Keywords: Management; Public Relations; Islamic Boarding School
