Abstract

Madrasa today are different from madrasas five years ago. Madrasahs are still often given second place and marginalized by some groups in terms of the quality of education. Madrasahs are considered unable to involve the community in preparing their children to face life following the progress of the times. In fact, society has a very strong influence on whether an educational institution advances or not. The purpose of this research is to determine the importance of community relations that are formed or function in a madrasa. The community or parents and local residents can participate actively and function optimally and can become accurate informants about the development and progress of a madrasa. Awareness of improving quality in a madrasa can reduce public misunderstandings about everything that develops in a madrasa. Community criticism and suggestions can become an evaluation and reflection for the progress of a madrasa. The method in this research uses a literature review approach. The results of the research obtained are that the creation of success in improving the quality of education in a madrasah can be a benchmark for a madrasah in terms of (1) as a form of responsibility of the madrasah to the community, (2) as a forum to equip the community to care and be wise in choosing education for their children. their children and (3) the success of the madrasah in establishing good relationships and cooperation with the community, so that the existence of the madrasah is accepted in its environment

Abstract

This research aims to discuss educational management's role in improving graduates' quality through character education at MA Al Qodiri Jember and MBI Amantul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto. The discussion reveals the concepts and implications of the role of educational management in the context of two Islamic boarding school-based schools using multi-site qualitative research methods. Data was obtained through closed interviews, documentation, and discussion forums to fulfill the research, and then the data was analyzed through triangulation. Educational management at both schools plays a crucial role in emphasizing student character formation. Developing a curriculum oriented towards character education and implementing character education programs is the main focus in producing graduates who are academically superior and have good character. With a directed and integrated approach, MA Al Qodiri Jember and MBI Amantul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto emphasized that character education is not just an addition but the essence of education itself, which forms quality individuals who are ready to contribute positively to society. This research underlines the importance of character education in forming a young generation who is solid and responsible in facing future challenges.

Abstract

Educational evaluation management in the productive learning assessment in vocational high schools or vocational madrasah aliyah is an integral part of effective vocational education. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the productive learning assessment system in the context of vocational education in vocational high schools and vocational madrasah aliyah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using library sources such as books, journals, and policy documents because this method is an effective alternative for conducting research related to several vocational high schools and vocational madrasas to gain a deeper understanding of system implementation. productive assessment. The research results show that there are still several challenges in the productive assessment system, including openness in communication of assessment criteria and weights, as well as varying understanding of assessment guidelines. However, the evaluation also revealed best practices that have led to improvements in the assessment of productive learning. These results can be a basis for further improvements in the productive learning assessment system in vocational high schools and vocational madrasah aliyah, with a focus on improving the quality of vocational learning that is relevant and responsive to the demands of the job market.

Abstract

AbstractDuring the 4.0 revolution, education was required to apply new innovations and be able to compete with other educational institutions. To realize Human Resources (HR) that can advance, enhance and realize the ideals of the nation, institutions must be flexible in organizing and providing the latest learning system in the 4.0 revolution era amidst the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the concept of independent learning which was initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture. Is expected to be able to realize quality learning and be able to compete in the current development of globalization. The design of independent learning, the leadership of the principal is very meaningful, especially in fostering teachers in delivering material, not free from the concept of an independent learning curriculum which was formed in such a way during the Covid 19 period, so that the learning system accelerates concepts and curriculum development programs that are very fast, so that educational innovation realized in the learning experience is needed by students.Keyword: Freedom of Learning, Curriculum, Quality

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) The reality of teacher performance assessment at State MTs in Bandung City. (2) The Reality of the Quality of Education Services at Bandung City Public MTs, and (3) The Relationship between Teacher Performance Assessment and the Quality of Education Services at Bandung City State MTs. This research is quantitative research using correlational methods. The data in this study were obtained by distributing a questionnaire with a Likert scale model consisting of four selected answers to 85 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study were instrument tests (validity and reliability), statistical analysis tests, hypothesis testing (Spearman's rank correlation test), and coefficient of determination tests. The results of the study show that: (1) Teacher performance evaluation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bandung City is included in the moderate category, which is equal to 3.58 from the results of data processing of 85 respondents; (2)The quality of education services at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Kota Bandung, is included in the medium category, which is equal to 3.15 from the results of data processing of 85 respondents; (3) Based on the results of calculating the correlation between variable X and variable Y, a correlation coefficient of 0.573 is obtained, including the coefficient category of 0.51-0.75 meaning that there is a relationship that is quite large or strong enough. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between teacher performance assessment and the quality of education services at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Bandung City. The results of the correlation test calculation show that the significance of teacher performance assessment with the quality of educational services is 0.000 0.05. The results of the correlation test calculation are positive, which means that if the results of the performance assessment carried out on the teacher are good, the service provided by the teacher is also good. Then, from the results of the coefficient of determination test, it was obtained (R square) of 0.328, which means that teacher performance assessment of the quality of educational services has a contribution of 32.8%.

Abstract

In facing various challenges and competition in schools, it is necessary to involve all components/citizens of the school in order to build relationships or partnerships with other institutions in improving the quality of education in the school. Efforts to improve and improve the quality or quality of primary school education need to be through an effective school culture. Because improving the quality of primary school education cannot be separated from the basis of school culture. Based on this culture, principals, teachers, students, and parents will feel a sense of belonging, so that they will maintain, improve, and strive for the realization of improving the quality of school education. The purpose of this study is to develop a model for improving the quality of primary school education based on school culture to create an effective school. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that occurs at SDN Kepuhteluk II Gresik. This qualitative data was obtained and analyzed from the results of interviews, observations and school documentation to support the conclusions of the study. The subjects in this study involved teaching and learning activities for teachers and students at SDN Kepuhteluk II Gresik. The results of this study indicate that the model used at SDN Kepuhteluk II Gresik in improving the quality of basic education based on school culture is a reform model. Efforts to improve the quality of school education at SDN Kepuhteluk II Gresik have been carried out with various school reforms related to various dimensions, such as the dimensions of the principal, the dimensions of teachers, the dimensions of students, the dimensions of parents, and the dimensions of stakeholders. As for efforts to improve and improve a quality or school quality seen from the aspect of honesty. Apart from being honest, other core values that are instilled in the students of SDN Kepuhteluk II Gresik are discipline, responsibility, patience, humility and tolerance.

Abstract

The basis of this paper is the teacher's ability to manage the learning media used during learning because it is an important component in delivering teaching materials. Learning objectives can be effectively achieved if teachers can manage the media needs of each teaching material and use it appropriately. The post-pandemic learning process is felt to be less meaningful and tends to be boring for students, so teachers must be able to innovate in choosing and creating learning media that can motivate students to learn. This study aims to determine the benefits and effects of using "KARCIL" media in improving the science literacy of students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The focus of the paper lies in the use of "KARCIL" media in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects with a quantitative approach of the field research model through interviews and observations and the distribution of questionnaires to students used as samples. The results of the study obtained were (1) There was a significant influence between the use of "KARCIL" media on science literacy skills students, amounting to 0.001 with a confidence level of 10%, (2) There was a significant influence between self-motivation and science literacy ability of 0.011 with a confidence level of 10% and (3) There is a significant influence between the value of the coefficient of determination for the Nagelkerke model of 64% and 36% influenced by other factors that are not studied. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that good management of learning media and appropriate use by teachers can improve students' literacy ability and learning achievement.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of a learning process in order to achieve the goals of a learning program, so it can be said that quality education is determined by several related components, starting from input, process, and output, as well as good management. The learning process today is developing very rapidly due to demands and pressures to improve the quality of education.The research method used in this article is qualitative with a library research approach, because the authors here explore and search for data through research and reading of scientific works that are appropriate to the topic of discussion.The government expects standards in the learning process, namely planning, implementation and assessment. In a quality learning process, various learning inputs are involved, such as: students (cognitive, affective, or psychomotor), learning materials, methodology (varies according to the ability of the teacher), school facilities, administrative support and infrastructure and other resources and the creation of a conducive atmosphere. The results of this research show that managing the quality of Islamic education is not only about meeting formal standards set by the government, but also about creating a learning environment that is conducive, innovative and responsive to students' needs and the demands.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the formulation of the independent learning policy formulation in the implementation of education during the Covid-19 pandemic through a SWOT analysis. As we know, the Covid-19 outbreak limits the space for people to move in activities, especially the learning process in schools. So that the existence of an independent learning policy can provide solution steps to overcome the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a literature review approach with a descriptive qualitative method. The results show that threats and weaknesses still dominate the existing strengths and opportunities, the availability of human resources, information technology facilities and support from the government authorities are still clashed with the reality of the field in society that is still unable to master technology and budget constraints in managing and supporting the successful implementation of the independent learning policy. during the Covid-19 pandemic. With this article that examines the policy of freedom of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is hoped that there will be further research that directly observes in the field to obtain a more concrete picture to provide alternative solutions in further improvement of government policies.

Abstract

AbstrakHadirnya Permendikbud 2018 membawa banyak perubahan khususnya pada penerapannya di 2021/2022. Menyikapi hal ini sekolah dan khususnya para pendidik perlu menyikapi dengan menyesuaikan dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis Indek Pencapaian Kompetensi (IPK) menggunakan lembar analisis berbentuk checklist dengan kriteria sesuai (S) dan tidak sesuai (TS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh persentase kesesuaian IPK dengan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) secara keseluruhan yaitu 87%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa IPK yang disusun oleh guru sudah sesuai KD.Kata kunci: Indikator Pencapaian Kompetensi, Kompetensi Dasar, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran
