Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 has given many great impacts in all aspects, either positive or negative. In areas of education, there are many things that have changed, it is more modern and efficient thanks to technology, there is no limitation of time and place. The learning process at all levels has already used various innovative learning media and digital media. In addition, the use of the Internet for learning and teaching purposes is used more from time to time. In this era, all things integrate with the internet (internet of things), this condition then stimulates all people to be more creative to take advantage of the internet in the way of producing or creating a creation. This can be used by many people like the application, the site, the web, etc. Consequently, based on the previous research, we therefore make a development of our research result to be more efficient, more modern and which is suitable with the condition of the era. The French-Indonesian digital dictionary on tourism in 2018, we are developing it by adding more data and also applications for all users. We therefore hope that this digital dictionary can help and be used by many people who learn French, especially in the field of tourism.

Abstract

Bedana Dance is one of traditional arts masysrakat Lampung. This dance was brought by the Arabs in about 1930 who later taught to three children named Ma'ruf, Amang, and Abdullah. They then spread this dance to all corners of Lampung. Bedana Dance is a traditional dance that has its roots and is perceived as a symbol of a very wide tradition about the view of life as well as a friendly and open environment environment. Along with the growing time and understanding of the society will be dance bedana, so presently it is assumed the bedana dance has undergone a fairly strong transformation. Traditional Dance of Dance has evolved into dance bedana creations. There is a change in the formation of dancers who are group, in addition to the dance of the bedana has also been danced in traditional events and other entertainment events. In this study, descriptive method is used to find and describe the form of motion danana dance and the meaning of motion dance traditional dress become creations. This new dance is famous for the term new dance creations. Abstract

The Problem in this study was the social life in the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur by Muhidin M. Dahlan. The purpose of this study was to describe the social life in the novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi PelacurbyMuhidin M. Dahlan.The method used in this study was a qualitative method. The results show that social life was found in this novel was the religious life, the life friendships, and organizational life.Key words: literature, novels, social life.AbstrakMasalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kehidupan sosial dalam novel Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur karya Muhidin M. Abstract

The development of digital technology affects human life, especially for those born in the digital era (digital native). This can be seen from several aspects such as aspects of social life and learning styles that are different from previous generations. The digital native generation mostly spends most of their time on the internet, this naturally develops digital competencies. As a result, they are freely accessing information, whether related to academic interests or not, establish online relationships, play video games, and other exploration activities. Different results may be found in Private Islamic Junior High Boarding schools, where students are restricted from using gadgets. For this reason, the focus of this research is to find out the digital native students’ perceived digital literacy competencies in a Private Islamic Junior High Boarding school used the case study. This research took 54 students of the Private Islamic Junior High Boarding schools in Surakarta with purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study revealed that students’ photo-visual literacy, reproduction literacy, branching literacy, information literacy, socio-emotional thinking literacy, and the real-time thinking literacy were categorized as intermediate. http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/aksara/v21i1.pp74-87

Abstract

In fact, there has been much debate over the utility of composition as tests of language proficiency and even as tests of writing skill. This article, nonetheless, will clarify that subjective methods of evaluating and objective scoring technique are strongly correlated. Some studies have also found that lecturer judgments of a subjective sort have substantial reliability and are significantly correlated with similar judgments by independent raters and with objective scores computed over the same composition work. In this article, how both holistic evaluation and objective measures are operated in the classroom of English writing will accordingly be discussed.Key words: holistic evaluation, objective scoring methods, language proficiency, coherence, unity

Abstract

Audiovisual research is not only limited to an analysis of the translation applied to movies, but also about the meaning and how the aspects of that meaning can be well understood by the audience. The meaning of the movie refers to the verbal meaning and nonverbal meaning to see how the meaning of the movie is conveyed to the audience as a whole because verbal and nonverbal language basically has its own uniqueness in the process of conveying meaning. This study also aims to analyze the storyline to obtain the unity of verbal and nonverbal meanings in building the overall story in the movie. The research data chosen was the animated children’s movie “Rabbids Invansion” because it contains nonverbal signs which tend to be more than verbal language. Although there is verbal language, what appears refers to verbal language that is unknown or difficult to understand the meaning directly. The power of imagination in movie “Rabbids Invansion” is very strong. Therefore, the study of meaning in this movie becomes a very interesting and need to be analyzed in details. This research begins by listening to the movie, followed by collection data through screen recording techniques for data collection of visual or image aspects and taking a note for verbal language. The results of this study could later be useful for audiovisual researchers in producing a study in the field of meaning of children’s animated movie.  Keywords: meaning, movie, image, verbal, nonverbal, plot.

Abstract

Coronavirus or Covid-19 is viruses group of the Orthocoronavirinae member of Coronaviridae family and the order Nidovirales. This virus can cause disease not only human, but also birds and mammals. The extraordinary events caused by the corona virus become a new problem in various fields of life, including in the field of education. Every educator is required to be able to innovate, so that the learning process and physical limitations can both continue. Therefore, not long after the physical restriction instructions were applied, the online learning model or commonly referred to as e-learning began to be socialized. The purpose of writing this article is to see the effectiveness of the Guru Virtual platform as an daring learning medium. To conduct this research, researcher uses descriptive qualitative method. Qualitative descriptive method is a method that analyzes research in the form of descriptions not in the form of numbers or coefficients about the relationship between variables. The data gathered from the research is in the form of words or pictures not numbers. The data was collected by designing learning scenarios, recording, and interviewing. In addition, the calculation of student learning outcomes is also carried out to see learning outcomes using the Guru Virtual. Based on the results of interviews with students, Guru Virtual is an effective platform to be used as an daring learning platform. Based on the calculation of student learning outcomes, it was obtained an average value of 74.9 with a good category.

Abstract

Salah satu karya sastra yang masih hidup sebagai bentuk tradisi tulis dalam struktur kebahasaan Bahasa Bali adalah geguritan. Geguritan adalah karya sastra yang dibentuk berdasarkan pupuh dan di lagukan oleh dua orang dimana satu orang yang melagukan dan satu orang yang mengartikan atau memaknai masing-masing pupuh. Geguritan candrabherawa merupakan geguritan yang dikawi oleh I Ketut Ruma mengacu kepada lontar Purwwagama Sasana. Kajian geguritan Candrabherawa ini berpusat kepada analisis struktur teksnya yang dianggap unik dan memiliki ciri tersendiri terkait rasa estetika dan kemampuan pengarangnya, hasil analisa disimpulkan terdapat komponen yang membentuk struktur teks geguritan ini dan yang menonjol adanya perbedaan padalingsa pupuh pembentuk geguritan Candrabherawa yang terkesan keluar dari pakem yang ada namun perbedaan ini umumnya terjadi karena pengarang ingin mempertahankan alur cerita sehingga pemilihan kata dalam jumlah pada sedikit berbeda dengan struktur pada selanjutnya dalam pupuh-pupuh pembentuk teks geguritan Candrabherawa namun perbedaan tersebut tidak mengubah kesan estetika dari geguritan tersebut. Kata Kunci : sastra, struktur, geguritan, candrabherawa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (EBI) dalam makalah mahasiswa STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu, untuk menggambarkan kesalahan penggunaan EBI dalam makalah mahasiswa. Objek penelitian adalah analisis kesalahan penggunaan EBI dalam makalah mahasiswa. Data diambil dari kesalahan EBI mahasiswa di latar belakang penelitian yang ditemukan di kertas mereka. Penelitian ini termasuk deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, dokumentasi, dan menulis metode condalingual intralingual. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang makalah mahasiswa terdapat beberapa kesalahan EBI seperti penggunaan ejaan, huruf kapital, preposisi, kata sambung, huruf miring, dan awalan. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/aksara/v20i1.pp35-43
