Abstract

The purpose of the research is to determine the process of implementing mathematics learning by using Kumon method and to find out the difficulties of the students in completing addition and subtraction material in mathematics subject at level A. This research used a qualitative descriptive research method. This research involved 1 supervisor at the Kumon Setia Budi Center tutoring in Medan and 5 students that studying at Kumon Setia Budi Center tutoring who were at level A.The results of the research are as follows: 1. The learning process of level A mathematics subject at Kumon is 1) Initial activities: greeting, checking homework, giving grades: 2) Core activities: guiding homework, students working on worksheets, guiding working on worksheets: 3). Final activity: giving evaluation, giving homework. 2 The difficulties that faced by the students in completing the addition and subtraction material of mathematics subjects at level A are the students have difficulty using the concept, students have difficulty in completing the addition material, and students have difficulty in adding the two numbers are presented randomly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning motivation of PJOK between study groups in indoor and outdoor fields at Methodist 6 Senior High School Medan. Class XI students of SMA Methodis 6 Medan are the population of this comparative study. The sample of this study consisted of 64 students of class XI SMA Methodis 6 Medan who were selected using the Slovin formula and the total population was 74 students. Using Google forms and a Likert scale, the research instrument uses a learning motivation questionnaire that was previously used in the study. With the help of SPPS Statistics Version 21, descriptive statistical tests and independent tests were used to assess the research data. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant difference between learning motivation in the PJOK learning group in the indoor and outdoor fields of class XI students of SMA Methodist 6 Medan. It is known that the significant value (0.000) is smaller than the Alpha value (α 0.05), which means that (0.000) < (0.05), there is a t-count value of 7,022 which is higher than t table 1.992, so students tend to be more motivated when PJOK learning in the outdoor field. Because most students, according to research, like to study in the open field, students tend to be more motivated when studying PJOK there. Due to the lack of friends to chat with and boredom with PJOK activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, some children lack motivation to study in an indoor environment.

Abstract

The duties and responsibilities of the principal's supervision greatly determine the performance of teachers in the school. Supervision is aimed at teaching and learning situations that allow the achievement of educational goals optimally, in improving and improving the quality of teaching. The principal who has responsibilities as a leader, such as being able to show an exemplary personality for teachers and staff, has great expertise in leading a particular school, will know the teacher's performance, such as the teacher will be responsible, disciplined, and enthusiastic. This research uses descriptive research. The purpose of the study was to find out the description of Principal Supervision in improving teacher performance at SDN 105316 Beranti. The population in this study were all teachers at SDN 105316 Beranti, both civil servants and non-civil servants who found 12 people. From the results of this study, it can be said that the supervision of the principal at SDN 105316 Beranti has very good criteria. The better the supervision of the principal, the better the teacher's performance

Abstract

Abstrak : Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam rangka memenuhi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Kegiatan ini berupa “Pelatihan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Dalam Proses Pembelajaran Pada Guru-Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri 064017 Medan Perjuangan”. Pelatihan Penulisan Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki pola mengajar guru, memperbaiki perilaku siswa, meningkatkan praktik pembelajaran, mengubah kerangka kerja guru dalam mengajar sehingga terjadi peningkatan pelayanan profesionalisme guru. Kegiatan Pelatihan Penulisan Tindakan Kelas dilakukan oleh Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yaitu Dosen Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Quality Berastagi sebagai Narasumber dan salah satu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar sebagai anggota. Pelatihan Penulisan Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 26 November 2021 dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang berhubungan dengan Penulisan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Hasil Pelatihan Penulisan Tindakan Kelas berupa Sistematika dalam membuat Proposal dan Sistematika Laporan Hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Peserta Pelatihan Penulisan Tindakan Kelas sangat antusias mengikuti Pelatihan yang diberikan oleh Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat untuk mendapatkan Wawasan Pengetahuan dalam Penulisan Tindakan Kelas. Kata Kunci : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas V dan VI SD Negeri 060800 Kecamatan Medan Area. Tujuan penelitian ii adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas V dan VI SD Negeri 060800 Kecamatan Medan Area.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 060800 Kecamatan Medan Area dengan populasi sebanyak 33 orang dan sampel dengan 33 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur pola asuh orang tua  adalah angket  dengan jumlah 40 butir. Validitas tes diuji menggunakan teknik korelasi produk momen dengan hasil 40 butir dinyatakan valid.sedangkan realibilitas tes di uji menggunakan alpha dengan hasil 0,928 pada taraf signifikan 95% dengan alpha 5%. Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa teknik pengumpulan  data yang dilakukan adalah dokumentasi, yaitu dengan menggunakan DKN kelas V dan VI semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 sebagai sumber data.Teknik analisi data menggunakan korelasi product moment sedangkan hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi menunjukkan bahwa rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,344 sedangkan rhitung sebesar 0,395 berada pada arah yang positif. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel  pada  taraf signifikan 5%. Sedangkan hipotesis denga menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 2,39 dan ttabel  1,696 sehingga Ha diterima dan Ho di tolak yang artimya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa SD Negeri 060800 Kecamatan Medan Area.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dibuat kesimpulan bahwa pola asuh orang tua akan berdampak pada hasil belajar anak. Semakin baik pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua maka semakin tinggi hasil belajar siswa SD Negeri 060800 Kecamatan Medan Area.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in students' physics learning outcomes who were taught using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model with the conventional learning model for class XI of SMA Swasta Advent 1 Medan. This type of research is an experimental research with a pretest-posttest group design. The population in this study were all students of SMA Advent 1 Medan. The sampling technique was carried out randomly (Cluster random sampling), namely class XI-1 as an experimental class taught using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model and class XI-2 as a control class taught using a conventional learning model. Each class consists of 32 people. The instrument of this research is a multiple choice test of 20 items with 5 choices, the instrument is first tested on students outside the sample to determine the validity, reliability, distinguishing power and level of difficulty of the questions. From the data analysis, the average pretest value for the experimental class was 45.78 with a standard deviation of 6.67 and the posttest average value was 85.15 with a standard deviation of 5.63, while in the control class, the pretest average value was 52.26 with a standard deviation of 12.32 and the posttest average value. 68.21 with a standard deviation of 7.12. Before testing the hypothesis, the normality and homogeneity of the data were first tested. From the results of the preliminary test, it was found that the two data came from a population that was normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained tcount = 4.36 > ttable = 2.002 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning models on student physics learning outcomes in class XI SMA Swasta Advent 1 Medan.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian adalah kurang maksimalnya hasil belajar PKN siswa menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar  PKN siswa kelas V SD Negeri 024868 Binjai. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi eksperimen, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar  PKN siswa kelas V. Analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan rumus Kolerasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh gambaran motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 024868 Binjai adalah cukup baik dengan nilai rata-rata 59,60. Sedangkan gambaran hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 024868 Binjai adalah baik dengan nilai rata-rata 75,93. Diperoleh nilai kolerasi produck moment adalah 0,6825 ada kolerasi yang langsung antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V sebesar 68%.  Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t  maka H1 diterima atau ada pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas V SD Negeri 024868 Binjai  Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to develop a local wisdom-based scratch learning media on set material at SMP Negeri 1 Stabat for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) development research. This research uses the ADDIE research design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instruments used in this research were interviews, validation from experts including material experts, media experts, and mathematics learning experts, observation sheets, and documentation. The results of this development research are the implementation of learning using local wisdom-based scratch learning media in the good category and the feasibility of local wisdom-based scratch learning media in a very good category based on the validation results from experts, namely material experts obtaining a feasibility percentage of 86%, media experts obtaining a feasibility percentage of 85%, and Mathematics learning experts get a percentage of 89% eligibility. So it can be concluded that scratch learning media is based on local wisdom on practical set material to use. Thus, it can be concluded that the Development of Scratch Learning Media Based on Local Wisdom on Association Materials at SMP Negeri 1 Stabat for the 2022/2023 Academic Year is categorized as good learning implementation and the learning media developed is practical and feasible to use.

Abstract

Wrestling is a martial art that requires extraordinary physical conditions to carry out effective attacks and techniques to defend and bring down opponents. In addition to being in high physical condition during training and competition, many important variables, such as technical training, tactical training, and mental training, must be trained to achieve peak performance. This study aims to determine the contribution of flexibility, strength, and endurance of PPLP/D wrestling athletes in North Sumatra Province. The method used is a survey with test and measurement techniques. The population in this study was PPLP/D Wrestling Athletes totaling 15 athletes, which were taken using purposive sampling technique. Instruments to measure arm muscle strength using the Push Up test, flexibility using the Sit and Reach test, and endurance tests using the Multistage Fitness Test (beep test) have passed the validity and reliability stages of the instrument. Through the prerequisite test stage, the normality test analysis uses Lilliefors and the homogeneity test uses the F-test. The data analysis technique used percentage (%). The results showed that the strength of the PPLP/D wrestling athletes of North Sumatra Province was in the "good" category, the flexibility of the Bantul gym wrestling athletes was in the "less" category, and the endurance of the PPLP/D wrestling athletes of North Sumatra Province was in the "good" category. So that aspects of strength and endurance contribute to PPLP/D wrestling athletes in North Sumatra Province, while aspects of flexibility contribute to PPLP/D wrestling athletes in North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of television viewing intensity on student interest in MIS Al Khairat Deli Tua. The research will be carried out in July 2021 in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year at MIS AL Khairat. The population in this study were all students of class V MIS Al Khairat, totaling 50 students. The sample in this study was class VB which amounted to 24 students. Based on research data from the results of questionnaires on the intensity of watching television, the highest score was 76 and the lowest score was 31. The calculation results obtained an average score (X) = 52.55 with standard deviation (s) = 7.193. The indicator of the quality of depth or duration of watching television with a score of 2,363 (40.49%) and for the lowest score is the third indicator, namely the power of concentration or attention to watch television 1,526 (26.15%). Furthermore, each respondent's answer to the indicator of the intensity of watching television is categorized in the following table based on the Likert scale. The indicator that has the highest score is the third, namely the activeness of children in learning with a score of 1270 (20.11%) and the lowest score is the sixth indicator, namely getting a sense of security with a score of 676 (10.70%). The results showed that there was an effect of the intensity of watching television on students' interest in learning. This can be interpreted that the intensity of watching television can have a positive influence on students' interest in learning
