Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The difference in learning outcomes between groups of students taught using the Project Based Learning model and groups of students taught using the expository model; (2) The difference in learning outcomes between groups of students who have high learning motivation who are taught using the Project Based Learning model and groups of students who have high learningmotivation who are taught using the expository model; (3) The difference in learning outcomes between groups of students who have low learning motivation who are taught using the Project Based Learning model and groups of students who have low learning motivation who are taught using the expository model; (4) Interaction between Project Based Learning Model and Student Motivation on Student Learning Outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN Regency with a population of all fourth grade students as many as 50 students. The sample in this study was class IV A and Class IV B, each of which totaled 25 students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. The data collection instruments used were learning outcome tests, learning motivation questionnaires and project assessment checklists.

Abstract

The duties and responsibilities of the principal's supervision greatly determine the performance of teachers in the school. Supervision is aimed at teaching and learning situations that allow the achievement of educational goals optimally, in improving and improving the quality of teaching. The principal who has responsibilities as a leader, such as being able to show an exemplary personality for teachers and staff, has great expertise in leading a particular school, will know the teacher's performance, such as the teacher will be responsible, disciplined, and enthusiastic. This research uses descriptive research. The purpose of the study was to find out the description of Principal Supervision in improving teacher performance at SDN 105316 Beranti. The population in this study were all teachers at SDN 105316 Beranti, both civil servants and non-civil servants who found 12 people. From the results of this study, it can be said that the supervision of the principal at SDN 105316 Beranti has very good criteria. The better the supervision of the principal, the better the teacher's performance

Abstract

AbstractThe rapid pace of technology is currently having an extraordinary impact on the world of education, both positive and negative, this depends on how educators and those who are educated use the technology. Effective teachers are certainly able to master subject matter and strategies as well as skills in using various kinds of good teaching media, one of which is using technology, but at this time there are still teachers who only use textbooks as the only learning media. In today's modern and all-technological era, listeners are required to be dynamic towards the rapidly developing technological developments. If the teaching system used by teachers is still conventional, it is feared that students will find it difficult to develop and keep abreast of technological developments in society. By utilizing this media technology, it is very easy for a teacher to convey his knowledge. Not only that, the use of technological media is also very useful for students to capture and understand lessons easily, power point learning media is one of them. This PowerPoint media is an alternative problem solving by developing Microsoft PowerPoint as a learning medium. The purpose of this research is to find out the description: Use of Power Point Based Learning Media for Teachers at SDN 066656 Medan Selayang. The population in this study were all teachers at SDN 066656 Medan Selayang, both civil servants and non-PNS, totaling 12 people. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of power point-based learning media for teachers at SDN 066656 Medan Selayang has very good criteria. The better the use of learning media, the better the teacher's performance. Keywords: Learning Media, Power Point Based

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The influence of discovery learning and expository learning models on student learning outcomes, 2) The influence of social skills on student learning outcomes. 3) The interaction between learning models and social skills on student learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental research method. The research was conducted from April to May 2021.The population of this study were 48 students of grade V SDN 034799 Doloktolong who were chosen randomly by random sampling technique. The sample is the VA class as many as 24 people as the experimental class and the VB class as many as 24 people as the control class. Data collection techniques using social skills questionnaires and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used two-way analysis of variance. The results of the study are as follows: (1) There are differences in learning outcomes students who were taught with the discovery learning model with an average value of 85,556 higher than the learning outcomes of students taught by the expository learning model with an average of 76,944, the results of the analysis of variance showed that the Fcount value was 71.11> the Ftable value was 3.20 and the probability or significance value 0.00 <0.05, so H0 is rejected; (2) There is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students with high social skills and the average84,364and students who have low social skills on average 67.00. Result of analysis of variance obtained Fcount value of 17.35> Ftable value of 3.20 and a significant value of 0.017 <0.05, so that H0 is rejected; (3) There is an interaction between discovery learning models and students social skills in improving student PPKn learning outcomes, the results of analysis of variance Fcount value of 6,021> Ftable value of 3.20 and a significance of 0.018 <0.05, so that H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Education is a very important tool to achieve the progress of the nation and state because good education will produce good Human Resources (HR). The world of education can be used as the basic foundation for the progress of the Indonesian nation, so the people in Ronggur Nihuta Village very well support the activities of the MBKM Student Thematic KKN Program to conduct teaching in the form of tutoring. This tutoring activity was chosen because it saw the condition of the children in Ronggur Nihuta Village who have a tendency to play mobile phones every day. Things that are done when playing on a cellphone are playing Facebook, online games and watching YouTube cartoon content. The attitude taken to deal with problems related to the future of children in Ronggur Nihuta Village, especially in the field of education. Through a heart-to-heart approach, it also slowly provides motivation to learn. MBKM Thematic KKN Program students gradually direct their mobile playing activities into learning activities in the form of tutoring. The purpose of tutoring is to assist parents in guiding their children, in addition to that so that children are able to master knowledge and can develop the skills acquired, so that by providing tutoring services it is hoped that children will be motivated in learning. Learning motivation can be interpreted as a condition that exists within an individual that encourages students to learn and carry out certain activities to get maximum learning outcomes and goals

Abstract

Audio visual learning media makes it easier for students to understand material from the abstract to the more concrete so that students are able to understand the subject matter well, thereby improving student learning outcomes. This research aims to analyze the activities of using learning media in improving student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation and interviews with class teachers. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Based on research results, the use of audio-visual learning media has proven to be very effective in improving science learning outcomes, apart from that, there is also the involvement of internal and external factors in terms of student learning activities in class.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang paling penting dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Dalam era digital saat ini, teknologi multimedia seperti media video animasi kartun menawarkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran IPA. Media tersebut memiliki keunggulan visual yang menarik perhatiaan serta mampu menyampaikan informasi secara interaktif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa,masih banyak pengajar yang belum mengembangkan media pembelajarannya yang efektif bagi siswa.Oleh sebab itu,dalam penelitiaan ini akan mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang menggunakan “Mendia Video Animasi Kartun”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and develompent /R&D). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengembangan,maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran video animasi kartun yang dikembangkan peneliti untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPA Materi Ciri-ciri Makhluk Hidup dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis,Desain,Development,Implementation,and).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi kegiatan asistensi mengajar oleh mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas di SDN 060901 Medan Polonia. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang dirancang untuk memperkuat kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional mahasiswa calon guru melalui pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan analisis laporan kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan asistensi mengajar dilaksanakan secara aktif dan terstruktur, melibatkan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas, kegiatan non-akademik, serta tugas administrasi sekolah. Mahasiswa menghadapi sejumlah tantangan seperti keragaman karakter siswa dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran, namun mampu mengembangkan strategi adaptif melalui kolaborasi, inovasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan semangat belajar siswa, penguatan karakter, dan terbentuknya profesionalisme mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar asistensi mengajar terus dikembangkan sebagai program pembelajaran kontekstual yang memperkuat hubungan antara dunia kampus dan dunia sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pengembangan kompetensi guru serta menganalisis kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa di SD Swasta Katolik Mariana Medan. Kompetensi guru merupakan aspek penting dalam menentukan kualitas pembelajaran, yang mencakup kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang diperoleh dari guru, kepala sekolah, siswa, serta laporan asistensi mengajar mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru di sekolah tersebut telah mengembangkan kompetensi mengajarnya melalui berbagai metode, seperti penggunaan media pembelajaran, pengelolaan kelas, serta keterlibatan dalam kegiatan sekolah yang bersifat akademik maupun non-akademik. Pengembangan kompetensi ini terbukti berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterlibatan, motivasi, dan capaian akademik siswa. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan yang perlu diatasi, seperti keterbatasan variasi metode pembelajaran dan pengembangan profesional yang belum merata. Dengan demikian, pengembangan kompetensi guru secara berkelanjutan perlu terus diupayakan agar proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Program asistensi mengajar merupakan bagian integral dari implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk terlibat langsung dalam dinamika pembelajaran di satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kontribusi mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas dalam meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan belajar di SDN 101830 Tanjung Selamat melalui berbagai kegiatan akademik dan non-akademik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif berbasis praktik lapangan selama empat bulan, dengan pendekatan partisipatif kolaboratif bersama guru dan siswa. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pendampingan literasi untuk siswa kelas rendah dan tinggi, pengajaran keterampilan menyulam sebagai media pembentukan karakter, serta aksi nyata perbaikan lingkungan fisik seperti pengecatan dinding sekolah dan pembenahan taman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kenyamanan ruang belajar, antusiasme siswa dalam kegiatan literasi, serta berkembangnya nilai-nilai ketekunan, kreativitas, dan tanggung jawab. Selain memberikan dampak positif bagi sekolah, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kompetensi pedagogis, sosial, dan kepemimpinan mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik profesional. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa asistensi mengajar tidak hanya berkontribusi pada penguatan proses pembelajaran, tetapi juga pada transformasi ekosistem sekolah yang lebih mendukung perkembangan holistik peserta didik.
