Abstract

This research aims to investigate relationship between verbal linguistic intelligence, writing self-efficacy, and writing skills. This research adopted correlational quantitative design for second semester of English department in Unissula. Data were collected through tests for obtaining data of verbal linguistic intelligence and writing skills, then using questionnaires for obtaining data of writing self-efficacy. The results of this research are as follow: 1) Verbal linguistic intelligence has a significant relationship to writing skills. 2) The relationship between writing self-efficacy which has several dimensions such as ideation, conventions, and self-regulation does not have a significant correlation with writing skills. 3) The relationship among verbal linguistic intelligence, writing self-efficacy, and writing skills can be seen from the direct influence and indirect influence. These findings underscore that verbal linguistic intelligence is a key factor in improving writing skills, while writing self-efficacy may have limited role

Abstract

Forecasting predicts future sales volumes and is essential for efficient stock management in businesses like ayam geprek, which relies on fresh ingredients. Discrepancies between production and demand can lead to excess inventory, increased costs, and losses. This study employs a quantitative approach, analyzing September 2024 sales data using judgment sampling and methods like Moving Averages and Exponential Smoothing (ETS). Data processing includes error evaluation (MAD, MSE, MAPE) to identify the best forecasting method. Results show ETS with α = 0.5 is optimal, achieving the lowest error rates (MAD: 6, MSE: 73, MAPE: 15%). These findings help entrepreneurs improve inventory strategies, reducing risks of shortages or surpluses

Abstract

There are several electrolytes that are important in maintaining homeostasis systems including sodium (Na+), potassium (K+), calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+). Electrolytes are essential for basic life functions, such as maintaining electrical neutrality in cells and generating and conducting action potentials in nerves and muscles. Electrolyte needs can come from food and fluids consumed. The amount of electrolytes can become unbalanced, causing high or low levels. Electrolyte imbalance is a serious condition that can have a significant impact on human health. Correct diagnosis of any electrolyte disorder requires a thorough understanding of the clinical symptoms and relevant laboratory tests. Careful management is needed to correct electrolyte imbalances and prevent serious complications

Abstract

Diarrhea is a common disease in newborns and toddlers that can cause death. One of the factors that causes diarrhea in babies is a lack of exclusive breastfeeding or failure to breastfeed for two years. Exclusive breastfeeding for 4 to 6 months is often considered a preventative measure against allergies and some diseases, including infections and diarrhea. The author intends to examine the relationship between formula milk consumption and the incidence of diarrhea in infants aged 0-6 months at Prof. Hospital. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City. This study used an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 32 newborn babies who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria at RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo City. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate using the Pearson Chi-Square test. The results for choosing the type of cow's milk formula were 83.8%, the results for the method of giving formula milk were found to be 75.7% which did not comply with the provisions, and the results for the method of making formula milk were found to be 72.0% which were not in accordance with the provisions. There is a relationship between the method of administration, selection and manufacture of formula milk and the incidence of acute diarrhea in infants with p<0.05. There is a significant relationship between giving formula milk and the incidence of diarrhea in babies 0-6 months at Aloe Saboe Hospital, Gorontalo. It is hoped that the public will be aware of how important cleanliness is in serving formula milk to babies

Abstract

The study investigates the performance of Indonesian Islamic Commercial Banks through a comprehensive analysis encompassing multiple critical dimensions. By examining key performance indicators such as corporate governance, financial profitability, capital structure, and reputation risk, the research provides a holistic evaluation of these financial institutions. The investigation leverages authorized rating agency assessments, specifically from Pefindo, to gauge the banks' stability and market positioning. Additionally, the study integrates the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) as a benchmark, focusing on Sharia-compliant bank stocks to understand their market dynamics. A distinctive aspect of the research is its multifaceted company valuation approach, which analyzes book value, market value, and intrinsic value. This methodology offers nuanced insights into the banks' current performance and future potential within the capital market. The primary findings reveal that accredited agency ratings and ISSI inclusion serve as robust indicators of Islamic banks' operational health. Moreover, the analysis demonstrates a significant correlation between stock prices and the fundamental financial performance of these banking institutions
