Abstract

This study discusses Islamic strategies for preserving local wisdom and the implementation of these strategies in Indonesia with the type of literature research involving primary and secondary data. The approaches used are normative theological approaches, Islamic law, and anthropology. The data in this study was processed with qualitative descriptive techniques and content analysis. This paper explains that Islam has its strategy to preserve local wisdom. That is by taking a certain form of local wisdom as Islamic law, encouraging the implementation of local wisdom forms that contain good values, and giving a touch of Islam to various existing local wisdom. This strategy was also applied by Islamic scholars in Indonesia in dealing with a pluralistic Indonesian society full of various forms of wisdom that were firmly held by the community. The urgency of this paper is that it can provide an overview of the strategies applied by Islam to preserve local wisdom in Muslim communities, including in Indonesia. In addition, it can also be used as a guideline as a strategy to deal with various new customs and cultures that arise with the times, so that they are by Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the values ​​of religious moderation among IAIN Palopo students. Religious moderation can be understood as a perspective, attitude, and behavior in the middle position without being excessive in religion, that is, not being extreme. What is meant here is no exaggeration to place an understanding at a high level of wisdom by paying attention to religious texts, state constitutions, local wisdom, and mutual consensus. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. Research that seeks to describe problem-solving based on data. This study explains that cultivating religious moderation through religious subjects aims to provide education to students about strengthening religious understanding. Some of the contributions of the house of moderation in fostering religious moderation are; first, facilitating the strengthening and socialization of moderate Islamic ideas; second, providing understanding to students as agents of change in society regarding the need for tolerance; third, managing diversity in diversity and promoting itself as a campus of "harmony in diversity"; fourth, laying the foundation of the diversity management model by prioritizing tolerant and accommodating attitudes in campaigning for the ideals of managing religious pluralism. Abstract

This research is designed to develop learning media for the Luwu Folklore e-Book in the subject of moral beliefs material to familiarize commendable morals in grade VIII MTsS Cimpu. This research uses a 4D development model which includes the steps: Difine, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The validity of this media has been tested by experts in materials, language and media. The validation results from material experts recorded a high percentage of 100%, while linguists gave a percentage of 69%, and media experts obtained a percentage of 86%. Each of them is in the high category. This shows that the Luwu Folklore e-Book is very worthy of being used as a learning medium in the material of habituating commendable morals in class VIII MTsS Cimpu.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the Improvement of Early Childhood Learning Interest Ability Through Animation Media in Group B Students at Harapan Pammanu Kindergarten. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with two cycles, namely Cycle I which consists of 4 meetings and Cycle II which consists of 4 meetings. The success of this study is determined by the score of the research results which shows an increase in the learning interest ability of students. The score in the initial condition or pre-action was 6 students (30%) in the undeveloped category, 10 people (50%) in the developing category, and 4 people (20%) in the developing category as expected. In the first cycle with an average observation score, the number of students who began to develop amounted to 16 people (80%), and the number of students who developed according to expectations amounted to 4 people (20%). In Cycle II with an average observation score, students who developed according to expectations amounted to 3 people (15%), and students who developed very well amounted to 17 people (85%). Thus, this classroom action research (PTK) has succeeded in increasing children's interest in learning through animation media. Abstract contains a brief description of the problem and research objectives, methods used, and the results of research.

Abstract

Cultural heritage in Indonesia, apart from having high historical value, is also closely linked to spiritual and religious values. However, in this modern era, local wisdom and customs are underestimated by millennials. Assumptions about ethnicity and culture that are even considered deviant from religious teachings. Culture is considered taboo and not worth preserving. Traditional habits that should become local wisdom are actually increasingly shifting and almost disappearing one by one. In this regard, the researcher intends to conduct research to review the religious values contained in the local wisdom of the Tomakaka people of North Luwu district, South Sulawesi. This is intended so that local wisdom as regional culture can continue and continue to exist in the onslaught of the modern world. The relationship between religious and cultural values is a complex and multidimensional subject. Religion is often a moral pillar in culture, shaping values, norms, and social institutions. However, culture also influences the way religion is practiced and interpreted in everyday life. Abstract

This thesis discusses the Development of Powerpoint-Based Learning Media in the Islamic Cultural History Subject Class VII MTs Al-Qashash To'bia. This research includes research development that produces powerpoint-based learning media. The results of the study show that the powerpoint-based learning media developed is considered very feasible to be used as a learning resource in the subject of Islamic cultural history. The practicality of using powerpoint-based learning media in the material of imitating commendable behavior of khulafaur rasyidin in the subject of Islamic cultural history produced an average of 86.7% who responded in the score category of 81%-100% with very practical criteria. The powerpoint-based learning media developed is considered effective in improving students' understanding of imitating the commendable behavior of khulafaur rasyidin, judging from the average preetest on the material imitating the commendable behavior of khulafaur rasyidin with a score of 57.36, a drastic increase in the learning outcome test with an average posttest score of 91.24 with a gain value 0.79.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) on the subtheme "How the Body Processes Clean Air" integrated with verses of the Qur'an for fifth grade students at MI Al-Manar Lamone, using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The development process begins with the needs analysis stage involving analysis of students, materials, and teachers, followed by designing LKPD according to the thematic framework. At the development stage, LKPD was tested for validity by three experts, namely religious experts, material experts, and language experts. The validation results showed that this LKPD met the valid criteria with an average percentage of 89.3%. Furthermore, the practicality test also produced a percentage of 82%, which is included in the very practical category. The results of the practicality and product effectiveness tests show that this LKPD can be used effectively in increasing students' interest and motivation to learn, as well as enriching their understanding of learning materials with an integrative approach based on religion. Thus, this LKPD is suitable for use in learning and has the potential to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a thematic learning module integrated with Islamic values on the sub-theme "Working Together to Achieve Goals" for grade VI students at MI Al-Ikhlas Balebo. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model consisting of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. At the Define stage, a needs analysis was conducted through interviews and questionnaires to identify the challenges faced by students and teachers in learning. Based on the results of the analysis, the module was designed with attractive illustrations and clearer materials to improve student understanding. The Develop stage involved validation tests by experts in the fields of language, materials, and religion, with an average validity result of above 90%, indicating that the module is suitable for use in learning. In addition, the practicality test showed that this module is very practical with an average value of 88.12%. This module not only helps students understand the material better, but also instills Islamic values in the learning process. This study concludes that the developed learning module is effective and relevant in improving the quality of learning and the formation of students' religious character.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive review of the literature on Islamic fundamentalism and radicalism to enhance our understanding of these phenomena and their implications. By examining various sources, including academic articles, policy reports, and historical records, this research seeks to uncover the multiple dimensions of fundamentalism and radicalism. The study will explore the socio-political, economic, and cultural factors contributing to the emergence and spread of these ideologies. Additionally, the research will analyze the effectiveness of various counter-radicalization strategies implemented by governments and international organizations. The study employs a literature review methodology to systematically analyze existing research on Islamic fundamentalism and radicalism. This approach was chosen for its ability to consolidate and synthesize various scholarly sources, providing a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge on the topic. By reviewing and comparing different studies, this approach aims to reveal patterns, identify key themes, and highlight areas where further research is needed. The selected sources include peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and scholarly essays that are relevant to the topic, methodologically rigorous, and authored by credible scholars. The research findings indicate that historical perspectives on Islamic fundamentalism reveal that this phenomenon is rooted in various historical and ideological developments, particularly in response to colonialism, political instability, and socio-economic changes. Contemporary manifestations of Islamic radicalism are highly diverse, reflecting the different contexts in which they arise, including geopolitical conflicts and domestic discontent. Comparative analysis with other fundamentalisms, such as Christian and Hindu fundamentalism, shows similar patterns in resistance to modern and secular influences. The socio-political impact of Islamic fundamentalism includes changes in domestic policies, diplomatic challenges, and social cohesion. The study also highlights scholarly debates on the interpretation of religious texts, external influences, and socio-political factors driving radicalization.

Abstract

The Effectiveness of the EGP Method (Emotional, Fast Action, Revision) in the Short Story Writing Ability of Class XI Students of MA DDI Gusung Makassar. This study aims to determine: (1) the ability to write short stories using direct learning (2) to determine the ability to write short stories using the EGP method (Emotional, Fast Action, Revision) (3) the effectiveness of the EGP method (Emotional, Fast Action, Revision) in the short story writing ability of class XI students of MA DDI Gusung Makassar. This study was conducted at MA DDI Gusung Makassar. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. The type of research used in this study is experimental research involving one group that is given treatment. Before being given treatment, students are given a pretest and after being given treatment, students are given a posttest to measure the ability to write short stories in the subject group. The results of the pretest and posttest in this study will show the results of the treatment that has been given. Based on the research results, it was concluded that (1) the pretest and posttest scores were above the KKM score but there was a significant increase of 16.94. (2) the average N Gain score for learning outcomes in short story writing skills after being given learning using the EGP (Emotional, Fast Action, Revision) learning model was 0.57 or 57% which means it is in the fairly effective category. (3) hypothesis testing with a paired sample test showed that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after the EGP (Emotional, Fast Action, Revision) learning method was applied in students' ability to write short stories in class XI MA DDI Gusung Makassar which also means that the application of the EGP (Emotional, Fast Action, Revision) learning method was declared effective in improving students' ability to write short stories in class XI MA DDI Gusung Makassar
