Abstract

The implementation of the Green Economy in MSMEs in Karangasem, Bali, highlights dedication to sustainable development and environmental preservation. Many MSMEs in the region adhere to environmentally friendly practices, such as the use of sustainable materials and technology. In the tourism sector, for example, the business world focuses on environmentally friendly tourism with effective waste management and the use of renewable energy. Likewise, agricultural MSMEs are turning to organic methods to minimize the use of harmful chemicals. Government training and mentoring programs support these environmentally friendly practices. In Tenganan Village, the Ata craftsmen group exemplifies this approach. Known for their expertise with the roots of the Ata plant, the artisans uphold traditional methods while adapting to modern trends. Although the production process is environmentally friendly, the Ata tree trunks used as raw materials cannot be cultivated, and greater awareness of Green Economy principles is needed among partners. The service team is committed to educating these craftsmen about Green Economy practices to increase productivity and economic sustainability. In addition, although craftsmen currently use simple ledgers for financial recording, they lack detailed cost accounting for raw materials and operations. Introducing financial reporting that is aligned with Green Economy principles will improve accountability and financial management. With the existence of 15 independent Ata craft groups in Tenganan Village, the establishment of an integrated supervisory body can further support the integration of Green Economy practices and overall business efficiency.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are increasingly popular in Indonesia and involve mothers, adults, and students. In Cepik Village, Tabanan-Bali, MSMEs sell attic chips, a crunchy and savory snack. The stages of program implementation are as follows :(1) Socialization regarding the importance of attractive and hygienic packaging; (2) Socialization of digital marketing strategies and assistance in creating social media for partner businesses; (3) Socialization of the creation of digital financial reports and training in creating digital financial reports in excel format. Loft chips are fried foods from grated cassava seasoned with salt, garlic, coriander, galangal, and typical fillers such as peanuts or soybeans. This MSME is a typical complementary food to rice in the village. Warmadewa University has the potential to contribute to preserving and developing attic chips MSMEs in Cepik Village by providing facilities, attractive packaging, digital marketing, and training in making digital financial reports. These MSMEs face a lack of understanding of packaging, digital marketing, and digital financial reports.

Abstract

PPM activities target MSME partners in the Meruya Selatan Village area, West Jakarta. Based on the situation analysis, it is known that the increasing number of MSMEs in the Meruya Selatan area is facing problems related to finance, such as poor financial performance, difficulty in increasing business profits, and insignificant business development. The potential that can be developed includes the number of active MSME actors, cooperatives that accommodate MSMEs, and motivation to become entrepreneurs. Thus, the socialization of MSME management is packaged directly by determining selling prices, recording financial transactions, and providing simple financial reporting to MSME actors in the Meruya Selatan Village. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills to MSME actors in the Meruya Selatan Village area to determine the selling price of products appropriately to avoid losses and use accounting easily to prepare simple financial reports. Understanding simple accounting helps MSME actors manage sources of funds carefully and efficiently so that MSMEs can develop better and improve the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

Limited understanding and financial recording systems cause MSMEs to experience difficulties in making appropriate financial decisions in running a business and accessing capital credit. In the digital era, understanding technology and innovation is the key to increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs. This community service activity aims for participants to gain an understanding of financial management in the form of simple digital-based planning and recording for MSMEs. Learning outcomes are measured by improving participants' skills in using the digital financial recording application (BukuWarung) to carry out financial bookkeeping and recording. The various features in the BukuWarung financial recording application have the potential to make it easier for MSMEs to prepare their business financial books. The activity implementation method consists of three stages. The first preparation stage includes pre-survey, team formation, making and submitting proposals, coordinating teams and partners as well as preparing materials and training materials. The second stage is the program implementation stage in the form of socialization. Socialization is carried out through counseling (presentation of material) and discussions. The third stage is the evaluation and reporting stage. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the conditions of partners before and after program implementation using the observation method. The training activities were carried out offline in two sessions, namely the first session was lecturing, namely the delivery of training material on the use of digital financial recording applications for MSMEs by resource persons and the second session was discussion, namely discussion activities with the participants.

Abstract

The Bali Government, recognizing the potential of Kusamba salt, has proposed a strategic plan to introduce it worldwide. The governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, suggested enhancing the marketing strategy to make Kusamba salt more appealing. This involves creating attractive packaging and promoting the product's unique qualities, such as its high-quality production methods and the environmental benefits of using natural Salt. Product Differentiation: The proposal emphasizes the need to differentiate Kusamba salt from other table salt products in the market. This could be achieved by highlighting the product's low iodine content, which benefits health and environmental sustainability. Market Integration: The plan also aims to integrate Kusamba salt into global markets. This involves identifying and establishing partnerships with international retailers and distributors interested in natural and health-conscious products. Farmer Empowerment: A significant part of the strategy focuses on empowering the salt farmers of Kusamba village. This includes facilitating the management of BPOM (Badan et al.) licenses and creating opportunities for the farmers to participate in the marketing and distributing their products. Environmental Sustainability: The proposal highlights the importance of promoting Kusamba salt as an environmentally friendly product. This could involve using eco-friendly packaging and promoting the product's sustainable production methods. In summary, the "Green Product of Kusamba’s Salt: An Alternative of Rebranding Strategy" this study aims to elevate the market value of Kusamba salt by optimizing its marketing strategy, differentiating it from other table salt products, integrating it into global markets, empowering the salt farmers, and promoting its environmental sustainability.
