Abstract

In general, humans hope for a prosperous life once they reach old age, but in reality, there are still many people whose old age could be more prosperous because they need income that can be used to meet their living needs. The bank pension fund (DPLK) pension program is a choice for planning retirement. Implementation of community service is carried out alternately with 3 or 4 participants per session. This is because the operational activities of PT Mitra Migas Sejahtera Semarang, which operates in Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU), must continue to run. Lack of socialization of financial institution pension fund pension programs by organizers, namely banks and insurance, so promotion needs to be increased so that the public can get information about financial institution pension fund pension programs. Only a few people have participated in this pension program, so promotion is needed to increase the number of participants in bank pension fund pension programs.

The methods used in this study were lectures, discussions and questions and answers with village managers, BUMDes, PKK group and village residents. Abstract

Glagah Linggah Forest Farmer Group is a farmer group that was given the trust by the Manikliyu traditional village to manage Glagah Linggah Pine Tourism. So far, they have received assistance from various companies, one of which is PT Tirta Investama, one of the industrial partners of the International Business Management study program. In the coaching conducted by PT Tirta Investama, there were several problems faced and they needed help from the campus in training digital marketing, operations, and communication design in serving international guests. Because so far when there are international guests, officers are less able to communicate. In addition, in terms of operational management, to welcome international guests and explain the facilities are also still limited, so it requires service excellence training. Facilities for bilingual and digital information are also limited. Marketing advertisements, mostly in Indonesia, have not penetrated marketing for international guests. So that this Community Service will later collaborate with PT Tirta Investama, where the campus will conduct training on how to welcome guests through service excellence and create some marketing content; communication design is expected to help smooth the operation of this Glagah Linggah pine forest tour. With this Community Service, it is hoped that this forest tour can develop its marketing more broadly to the international market supported by the service capabilities of officers and visual communication that is more supportive for international guests.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted to support the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), specifically Anasera, a beaded accessory craft business located in Tabanan Regency, Bali. Anasera sells its handmade products through offline art shops in the Tanah Lot tourist area but faces challenges in product design innovation and lacks an effective digital marketing strategy. These limitations reduce the business's ability to compete and grow, especially in the increasingly digital marketplace. The program focused on two main areas: (1) improving product design by providing training on color composition, trend adaptation, and uniqueness in handmade accessories, and (2) enhancing digital marketing skills through workshops on content creation, the use of social media platforms, and basic e-commerce management. After the implementation, Anasera demonstrated improved product presentation, created engaging promotional content, and began utilizing digital platforms to reach a wider audience. This initiative highlights the importance of combining creative design development with digital marketing to empower local MSMEs, particularly in tourism-driven areas, to improve their sustainability and competitiveness in both offline and online markets.

Abstract

The International Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata - KKN) is a form of community engagement that allows students to contribute to education and cultural exchange in their host country. This article discusses the role of Indonesian students in the Maulid Festival in Thailand and their efforts to introduce Islamic Nusantara culture and the importance of English education to the local community. The Maulid Festival serves as a platform for students to showcase Indonesian traditions in celebrating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday through various activities, such as cultural performances, religious lectures, and traditional cuisine. Additionally, students conduct socialization programs emphasizing the significance of English as a global skill that can expand educational and economic opportunities for the Thai community. Through this initiative, students not only act as cultural ambassadors but also as agents of change in raising awareness of the importance of learning foreign languages. This program demonstrates that the integration of culture and education can be an effective approach to community service while strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Thailand.

Abstract

This Community Service activity was conducted in collaboration with the Indonesian Community Association (PERMAI), a non-political NGO based in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. PERMAI supports Indonesians living in Malaysia, including businesspeople, workers, teachers, and students, and is active in social, educational, and cultural fields. A major challenge for PERMAI members, especially business owners, is the lack of accounting knowledge, which leads to poor financial record-keeping and reporting, hindering business growth. To tackle this issue, the PKM team provided basic accounting training covering accounting concepts, the accounting cycle, and practical skills from recording transactions to preparing financial reports. The training used interactive lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice with relevant case studies. The activity successfully improved participants’ understanding of accounting’s role in managing businesses. Participants gained the ability to independently record financial transactions and prepare simple financial reports. These results demonstrate that basic accounting training enhances business owners’ capacity to manage their operations more professionally and sustainably.
