Abstract

Child literacy and financial literacy are important skills that need to be instilled from an early age to prepare children for future life challenges. This activity aims to improve children's literacy and introduce the basic concept of financial literacy through reading and coloring activities. The activity was carried out at the Kraton Village Library, Yosowilangun District, Lumajang Regency in August 2025, involving children from early childhood to elementary school. In this activity, children were given a storybook with the theme of financial literacy, followed by coloring activities with pictures related to the stories they read, such as pictures of piggy banks and money. The results of the activity showed that children not only improved their reading skills, but also gained a basic understanding of money management, such as saving and managing a simple budget. The involvement of parents in accompanying children also makes a positive contribution to strengthening the understanding of financial literacy at home. The success of this activity shows the importance of the role of village libraries as literacy centers that can integrate literacy and financial literacy. It is hoped that this activity can be used as a model to improve children's literacy and financial literacy in other regions in Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, product innovation, and product quality on repurchase intention for The Originote skincare products. The research employs a quantitative method with a purposive sampling approach, which is categorized as non-probability sampling. The study population consists of 96 undergraduate students from Muhammadiyah University of Aceh who served as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS Statistics 25 program. The results indicate that partially, brand image has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Product innovation also has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, as does product quality, which shows a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect repurchase intention for The Originote skincare products. The findings of this study provide valuable insights and implications for skincare companies to strengthen brand image, enhance innovation, and maintain product quality to foster consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia are facing significant pressure due to reciprocal tariff policies that have emerged as a result of the trade war between the United States and its trading partners. The increase in tariffs on Indonesian export products has reduced the competitiveness of MSMEs in international markets and hindered the sector’s contribution to foreign trade. This activity aims to analyze the impact of reciprocal tariff policies on export-oriented MSMEs and to formulate adaptive strategies that can strengthen their competitiveness amid changes in global trade policies. The program was carried out as a Community Service Activity (PkM) through online dissemination, focus group discussions, and awareness-building sessions conducted during “The International Multidisciplinary Community Service Activity,” organized by the Association of Community Service Lecturers of Indonesia (ADPI). Participants included export-oriented MSME actors and the general public who collaborated in discussing market diversification and business digitalization strategies as adaptive measures to address reciprocal tariff policies. The results showed an increase in participants’ international trade literacy, understanding of adaptive export strategies, and the establishment of collaboration between academics and business actors. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes that continuous support through training, fiscal incentives, and deregulation is essential for MSMEs to survive and enhance their competitiveness amid the challenges posed by reciprocal tariff policies.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on mentoring creative content production as an effort to strengthen the digital branding of PT Mellcoir Sport Indonesia thru collaboration between students, supervising lecturers, and partner industry representatives. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a participatory and collaborative approach to improve students' practical competencies while also refining the company's visual communication strategies and social media management. This activity includes needs analysis, material design, and content production that aligns with brand character and digital market trends, encompassing photo shoots and promotional video creation. The findings from this activity indicate that direct collaboration based on real-world practices has a significant impact on improving content management, increasing visual consistency, and strengthening audience interaction on social media. Furthermore, this activity is also beneficial in building sustainable synergy between the campus environment and industry, while simultaneously enhancing students' ability to apply visual communication theory directly. The contribution of this activity is expected to serve as an example of best practices for digital-based branding development and effectively support local product empowerment programs. Thus, this collaboration is important to ensure the sustainability of local industry branding strategies in the digital age.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of homestay and guesthouse managers in Bintan Island, Riau Islands Province, in utilizing digital marketing and branding strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of community-based tourism enterprises. The program was conducted using participatory and applicative approaches through a two-day training held on 5–6 November 2025, involving 40 participants consisting of homestay managers, guesthouse operators, and local tourism practitioners. The training materials focused on three main topics: social media and Online Travel Agent (OTA) promotion, photo and video–based visual storytelling, and branding strategies for building business image and online reputation. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge and skills, with an average post-training score of 3.75 (categorized as good to very good). Participants were able to apply digital marketing techniques more effectively, produce engaging and authentic visual content, and manage their online image and reputation more professionally. The program also strengthened participants’ digital literacy and branding capabilities, while fostering a collaborative network among homestay managers for promoting community-based tourism in Bintan Island. Overall, this training contributes positively to enhancing the competitiveness of local homestays and supports the development of sustainable, technology-driven tourism in the region.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to conduct psychological screening of children’s growth and development and to enhance parents’ capacity in understanding their children’s psychological development. The program was organized by the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, in collaboration with the Karsa Media Bakti Foundation (YKMB), and was participated in by 19 children and their parents residing in Cimahi and Bandung. The activity consisted of four stages: completion of screening forms and developmental history by parents, structured interviews and anamnesis, observation and brief individual counseling, and evaluation of participants’ knowledge and satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and simple quantitative approaches. The results showed that the most common problems included emotional regulation difficulties (31.6%), learning focus issues (26.3%), and social behavior problems (15.8%). Parents’ knowledge increased by an average of 36%, and the overall satisfaction level reached 4.7 out of 5. This program demonstrates that community-based psychological screening involving active participation of children and parents is an effective preventive approach for early detection of developmental issues. It is recommended that similar programs be conducted regularly and expanded to schools and other communities to strengthen family roles in building resilient generations for national endurance.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen MSMEs in Ngabul Village through comprehensive business mapping and location-based digital marketing assistance. The mapping process was carried out through direct field observations involving several business actors, documenting product types, production capacity, marketing channels, and the challenges they encounter in expanding market reach. Findings indicate that most MSMEs hold significant potential, supported by the presence of local tourist destinations such as Ngetuk Garden and the Jepara Durian Market, which consistently attract visitors. However, the adoption of digital media remains limited, particularly in content management, the use of location-based features, and the selection of appropriate platforms for each product category. To address these gaps, the community service team provided practical training focused on basic content creation techniques, location-based promotional strategies, and maintaining consistent uploads to enhance visibility among potential customers. Through a tailored and hands-on approach, this program is expected to improve MSMEs’ capacity to adapt to technological advancements and expand their marketing opportunities, thereby contributing to the economic development of Ngabul Village.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented with the aim of improving the skills of local farmers in Karang Anyar Village in utilizing digital marketing to expand the market for agricultural products. The main challenges faced by partners were limited technological understanding, dependence on middlemen, and limited market access, which made product prices less competitive. Activities were carried out through training, mentoring in digital content creation, introduction to e-commerce, and implementation of social media-based marketing strategies. Methods used included an extension approach, hands-on training, and performance evaluation through online sales monitoring. The results of the program showed an increase in farmers' understanding of smartphone use, 78% of participants were able to create product photo content, and 65% had registered on digital platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, WhatsApp Business, and Tokopedia. Furthermore, sales increased by an average of 20% within one month of the program. In conclusion, digital marketing has proven to be an effective strategy for increasing the competitiveness of local farmers in the digital economy era. This program is recommended to be continued through ongoing partnerships with village officials and farmer groups.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate two things. First, it assessed the effectiveness of the training program in improving the abilities of Postgraduate and PGPAUD students at Universitas Dharmas Indonesia in preparing Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and Study Contracts. This was done through pretests and posttests. Second, it measured student satisfaction with the training. Researchers involved 35 postgraduate and PGPAUD students. Pretests and posttests measured training effectiveness. Participant satisfaction was gauged through a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale from 1 to 5. Feedback was encouraged. The community service activity was successfully executed, and it met its objectives. A participatory-based community service program implementation method was used. The results showed that the training program was highly effective in improving competencies. All evaluated aspects demonstrated significant progress, with an overall 25% increase. Participants became more proficient in aligning curriculum with KKNI/OBE standards. They learned to formulate clear learning outcomes, design learning methods and assessments, complete lecture contracts, and integrate technology. This proves that the training strengthened their readiness to develop high-quality instructional documents for higher education. High participant satisfaction was due to relevant training content, professional delivery, active learning strategies, strong organizational support, and clear perceived benefits. In conclusion, the training greatly contributed to students' understanding of lesson plan design.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the competitiveness of the MSME Soto Ayam Cak Pon by optimizing the use of Instagram as a digital marketing tool. The mentoring activities were carried out through a hands-on practice approach to ensure that the business owner could directly understand and apply various Instagram business features. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation to identify the partner’s initial needs and to assess improvements in digital literacy after the mentoring process. The results indicate that the MSME owner successfully created a business email, developed and optimized an Instagram account, arranged an informative business profile, linked WhatsApp contact and business location, and produced reels content to support visual promotion. The activation of the professional dashboard also enabled the owner to monitor account performance and understand audience engagement patterns. These improvements demonstrate that structured social media utilization can expand promotional reach and strengthen the business’s market presence. This program highlights the essential role of digital literacy in improving the competitiveness of culinary MSMEs in the digital era and serves as a foundation for further development of sustainable digital marketing strategies.
