Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price, promotion, and service quality on customer satisfaction, with brand image serving as an intervening variable in Toyota car products in Sukabumi, West Java. Using a quantitative approach, this research employs a survey method involving Toyota customers as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that price, promotion, and service quality have significant positive effects on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, brand image mediates the relationship between these independent variables and customer satisfaction, demonstrating that a strong and positive brand perception enhances the overall satisfaction of customers. These findings emphasize the importance of consistent pricing strategies, effective promotional activities, and high-quality service delivery to strengthen brand image and sustain customer satisfaction. The implications of this research suggest that automotive companies, particularly Toyota dealers in Sukabumi, should focus on integrated marketing and service strategies to reinforce their competitive advantage and brand loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership on employee performance with affective commitment as a mediating variable among millennial employees working in Yogyakarta. The increasing presence of the millennial workforce presents new challenges for organizations, particularly in maintaining loyalty, emotional attachment, and performance consistency. A quantitative research approach was employed using purposive sampling, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. A total of 248 valid responses were obtained and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results reveal that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, affective commitment fully mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance. The findings indicate that leaders who demonstrate transformational characteristics—such as inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration, and vision-oriented communication—can strengthen employees’ emotional attachment to their organization. This, in turn, enhances their motivation, engagement, and job performance. The study highlights the strategic importance of developing transformational leadership competencies among managers to foster affective commitment and improve performance, particularly within the millennial workforce. It also contributes to organizational behavior literature by confirming the mediating role of affective commitment in emerging economies.

Abstract

.This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. The study was conducted to understand how leadership style and workplace culture contribute to employee voluntary behaviors that support organizational effectiveness within the public sector. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected from 120 civil servants working at the Regional Secretariat of Bogor Regency through a structured questionnaire. The research employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS to analyze both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results demonstrate that both organizational culture and transformational leadership have significant positive effects on job satisfaction and OCB. Moreover, job satisfaction was found to partially mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and OCB, indicating that leaders who inspire, motivate, and empower their employees enhance satisfaction, which in turn strengthens employees’ willingness to perform beyond formal job requirements. Similarly, a strong, adaptive organizational culture fosters a sense of belonging and shared responsibility, thereby improving extra-role behaviors. These findings underscore the importance of leadership transformation and cultural alignment in public organizations, where intrinsic motivation and teamwork are essential for achieving performance excellence. The study contributes to the existing literature by validating the mediating role of job satisfaction in explaining how organizational and leadership factors jointly influence discretionary work behavior in the context of local government institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of local wisdom-based leadership on employee professionalism within the Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency of the Mentawai Islands Regency. Leadership rooted in local cultural values plays a significant role in shaping the behavior, work ethic, and professional performance of employees in regional government institutions. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving key informants, including agency leaders, staff, and community representatives. The findings reveal that leadership practices guided by local cultural wisdom—such as integrity, mutual respect, and collective responsibility—have a positive impact on enhancing employee professionalism. These values foster discipline, accountability, and a sense of belonging among civil servants, leading to improved work quality and public service delivery. Furthermore, the study highlights that leaders who internalize and apply local cultural values effectively bridge hierarchical gaps, strengthen organizational cohesion, and encourage ethical conduct aligned with community norms. However, challenges remain in maintaining consistency in applying these values amid generational and institutional changes. The study concludes that integrating local wisdom into leadership strategies is essential for building sustainable professionalism and organizational resilience in regional governance.

Abstract

Mathematics is a fundamental subject in primary education that cultivates logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. However, the topic of fractions is often perceived as complex by elementary students due to its abstract conceptual nature. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and learning outcomes in fraction lessons. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design involving 18 second-grade students at SDS Islam Nurul Iman. Data were collected through individual tests, classroom observations, and reflection cycles conducted over two learning cycles. The implementation of the TGT model, which integrates group collaboration and academic competition, resulted in a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. The proportion of students achieving mastery increased from 44% in the pre-cycle to 83% after the second cycle, with a mean score improvement from 64 to 85. These findings demonstrate that the TGT model fosters active participation, motivation, and peer collaboration, contributing to deeper conceptual understanding of fractions. The study concludes that incorporating cooperative and game-based learning strategies like TGT can effectively enhance mathematics achievement and engagement in early-grade learners.

Abstract

Fiduciary security institutions are regulated through legislation, Act No. 42 of 1999. This law governs the obligation of the registration of fiduciary security in order to provide legal certainty to the interested parties and this fiduciary security registration gives the rights of preference to the fiduciary recipient of other creditors. In 2013, the Government issued a regulation to Administration System of Fiduciary Security Registration electronically in order to improve services to people who need legal services in the field of fiduciary security. Laws of Fiduciary Security are positive law applicable to the fiduciary security, but there are some things that are not regulated in the law, that is, the  registration done with the online system and the legal consequences that are not registered. This study used normative legal research, which explains the existence of the absence of norms in  the Law of Fiduciary Security, i.e. the registration done with the online system and the legal consequences of fiduciary security which are not registered. This study used a source of legal materials consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The results showed that registration of fiduciary security with the online system is regulated through the Regulation of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9  of 2013 concerning the electronic imposition of Fiduciary Security and Regulation of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number 10 of 2013 concerning the System for Registration of Fiduciary Security done Electronically. The legal consequence of the Agreement of Fiduciary Security which is not registered with the online system is that it does not produce the collateral agreement of the fiduciary security so that the collateral character such as droit de suite and the rights of preference is not inherent in the creditor of the grantor of the fiduciary security and it does not have the executorial power.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product quality and service quality on online fashion purchase decisions, with perceived risk serving as a mediating variable in the context of social commerce. The rapid growth of online shopping through social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram, has transformed consumer behavior and introduced new dimensions of trust, risk perception, and purchase decision-making. This research investigates how consumers evaluate the reliability of products and services when making purchase decisions in digital environments where physical interactions are absent. Using a quantitative explanatory method, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students of the Master of Management Program at Pakuan University who actively use Facebook and Instagram for online fashion transactions. A total of 120 valid responses were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and indirect effects among variables. The findings indicate that both product quality and service quality have significant positive effects on consumers’ purchase decisions. Moreover, perceived risk partially mediates the relationship between these variables, suggesting that higher product and service quality can reduce consumer uncertainty and enhance confidence in online purchasing. This implies that building perceived reliability and minimizing transaction risk are critical strategies for increasing customer engagement and satisfaction in social commerce. The study contributes to the growing literature on digital consumer behavior by integrating quality dimensions and risk perception into a unified model of online purchase decision-making. Practically, it provides managerial insights for social media entrepreneurs and e-commerce marketers to strengthen consumer trust through superior product offerings and responsive online services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the evolution of educational technology during the COVID-19 pandemic through a systematic review of global literature published between 2020 and 2023. The pandemic created an unprecedented disruption in traditional education systems, accelerating the adoption of digital learning technologies worldwide. This research examines key trends, challenges, and innovations in educational technology implementation across various learning contexts. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, data were collected from reputable databases such as Scopus, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect, focusing on studies related to online learning, digital pedagogy, and educational technology integration. The analysis reveals that the pandemic acted as a catalyst for digital transformation in education, with significant progress in the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based adaptive learning, Virtual Reality (VR) classrooms, and mobile learning platforms. However, disparities in digital infrastructure, digital literacy, and pedagogical readiness remain major challenges, particularly in developing countries. The findings underscore that the effectiveness of educational technology depends not only on technological innovation but also on institutional support, teacher competence, and equitable access. This study contributes to the global understanding of post-pandemic educational transformation and provides insights for policymakers, educators, and researchers to design sustainable digital learning ecosystems.

Abstract

Human smuggling is one of the transnational crimes that threatens all countries in the world. Indonesia as a maritime country is often used to smuggle people because of its geographical location and the character of its people. This study discusses in detail the people smuggling that occurs in Indonesia which is then analyzed from an immigration perspective and is linked to the theory of state sovereignty. The type of research used is a qualitative normative legal research. The results showed that people smuggling that occurred in Indonesia began with the emergence of the Kunjuangan Visa Free Policy and changes in the requirements of foreign workers. Illegal immigrants in Indonesia are dominated by Chinese citizens. The handling carried out by the Indonesian government is through the judicial process and immigration actions. In the theory of state sovereignty, people smuggling is regulated in Law No. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. The embodiment of state sovereignty can also be explained through the theory of selective immigration policy, namely as a fundamental principle that is widely applied to all countries in the world. The problem of state sovereignty as well as the existence of asylum seekers and refugees in Indonesia cannot be separated from the intervention of international institutions that use human rights as a justification.
