Abstract

This study assesses how the Index Card Match cooperative learning technique affects fourth-grade students' scientific learning results. Thirty students were split into experimental and control groups for this quasi-experimental study, which used a pretest-posttest control group. There were fifteen pretest and posttest questions in all. Science achievement exams were used to gather data before and after the intervention. Paired and independent t-tests were used for analysis. With a significance value of Sig= 0.859 > 0.005, the results demonstrated that the experimental group employing the Index Card Match approach had significantly better learning outcomes than the control group using traditional teaching strategies. These results suggest that the Index Card Match method works well for both raising students' social skills and their comprehension of science ideas. The study concludes that teachers should incorporate the Index Card Match cooperative learning approach into their lesson plans to improve student learning outcomes and educational quality.

Abstract

The implementation of learning in the 4.0 era or better known as the 21st century often gives rise to problems that characterize learning which is still dominated by educators because of the teacher's awkwardness in applying strategies in the 4.0 era apart from that. There are also delays in developing science and technology that is integrated with Islam so that it is not uncommon for Islamic elementary schools to have less than acceptable graduation quality. Apart from that, learning does not yet reflect the nuances of Islamic output even though in fact it is still based heavily on Islamic learning at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. This research aims to describe policy concepts in elementary school learning with the integration of Islamic education science. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected is checked for validity using triangulation techniques, negative case analysis, and member checking before being analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis model, namely: data presentation, data condensation, and verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the scientific development strategy The Islamic basis of the integrative scientific paradigm can be supported by various policies applied, including blended learning strategies, gamification, and others.

Abstract

Mathematics is a difficult, scary, and boring subject because the teaching method used by teachers is still monotonous, so that it has an impact on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities which are still low in solving a problem. A problem is a problem that if we get it and have not been able to solve it, but have the desire to solve it. Therefore, the GASING mathematics learning method (easy, fun, and enjoyable) is used. The GASING mathematics learning method is a method that uses a simpler method, reduces the use of formulas but emphasizes real (concrete) learning and can be combined with logic. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of using the GASING mathematics method on students' problem-solving abilities. This study was conducted at SD Negeri 54 Banda Aceh with a sample of 30 students in grade IV. The research method in this study was the pre-experimental design method with a one group pretest - posttest design. The results obtained from this study were an increase in the average value from 8.17 in the pretest to 10.93 in the posttest. This difference is strengthened based on the results of the t-test (paired sample t-test) with a sig value = 0.000 <0.05, then, the hypothesis value in this study is (????o) is rejected and (????????) is accepted because there is a difference between the two tests. So it can be concluded that the GASING mathematics method has an effect on the problem-solving abilities of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 54 Banda Aceh.
