Abstract

The practice of increasing selling prices can be influenced by many factors, particularly habitual factors and factors inherent in the individual business actor himself. These factors are cultural factors, economic encouragement and education. This study aims at finding the influence of culture, economic encouragement and the level of education partially and simultaneously influencing the practice of increasing the buying and selling price of the Lake Toba Tourism Object, North Sumatra. The population of this research is 57 restaurant entrepreneurs. In determining the number of samples, saturated samples used so that the sample is 57 businesses. The data collection techniques used in this study are questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. While the data analysis techniques used are the classical assumption test, multiple regression, partial t test, simultaneous F test and the coefficient of determination. The results show that cultural variables have a significant effect on the selling and buying prices of restaurant businesses at Lake Toba attractions. When the culture of community is better, the selling price is also better. Economic drive variables have a significant effect on the selling and buying prices of restaurant businesses at Lake Toba attractions. The better the economic boost, the better the selling price. The level of education variable has a significant effect on the selling price of restaurant products at Lake Toba attractions because the better the level of education, the better the selling price. Cultural variables, economic drive, and education level simultaneously have a significant effect on a significant effect on the selling price of restaurant products at Lake Toba tourism objects. As much as 86.90% of the variation in selling prices can be explained by culture, economic drive and education level simultaneously, while the remaining 13.10% is explained by other factors, such as variables such as variables such as location and type of business

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja, Profesionalisme Guru Terhadap Prestasi Peserta Didik Di SMA Swasta Bintang Timur Rantauprapat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode data kuantitatif Penelitian kualitatif sebagai human instrument, berfungsi menetapkan fokus penelitian, memilih informan seabgai sumber data, menilai kualitas data, analisis data, menafsirkan data dan membuat kesimpulan atas temuannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja, Profesionalisme Guru Terhadap Prestasi Peserta Didik Di SMA Swasta Bintang Timur Rantauprapat. Hasil penelitian dengan uji t (parsial) ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah (X1) Berpengaruh terhadap variabel Prestasi Peserta Didik (Y), kemudian Motivasi Kerja (X2) Berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Prestasi Peserta Didik (Y), kemudian Profesionalisme Guru (X3) Berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Prestasi Peserta Didik (Y) dan hasil pengujian uji f (simultan) menunjukkan bahwasannya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah (X1) Motivasi Kerja (X2) dan Profesionalisme Guru (X3) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Kinerja Kepala Sekolah (Y).

Abstract

Dalam doktrin pertanggungjawaban organ perusahaan dalam pemeriksaan perkara korupsi di pengadilan merupakan kekebalan hukum bagi pengurus perusahaan. Adapun metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian yuridis normative yakni mengkaji penilaian keputusan yang dilakukan oleh direksi dalam undang-undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2007. Dalam Pasal 69 ayat (4), dan Pasal 104 ayat (4) UU Perseroan Terbatas. Undang-undang PT menjadikan business judgment rule berpedoman terhadap direksi sudah benar atau tidak mengesampingkan prinsip pertanggungjawaban pengurus perusahaan. Pada perkara MA NO. 130 PK/PID.SUS/2013 yang mengadili Terdakwa I dan Terdakwa II dalam persetujuan permohonan kredit adalah Memberikan approval (persetujuan) terhadap permohonan fasilitas kredit dari nasabah Corporate Relationship Management Group dan nasabah Financial Institution dan Overseas Network Management sesuai dengan tingkat kewenangannya.

Abstract

This study aims at determining and understanding the factors causing domestic violence, procedures for investigating perpetrators of domestic violence at the Medan City Police, and the obstacles faced in investigating domestic violence at the Kota Besar Police Station. In this research, library research was conducted. The results of the study show that the factors causing the crime of domestic violence are in addition to environmental factors, association, the influence of mass media, films, soap operas apparently also influenced the attitudes and actions of a child or family member. Culture encourages women (wives) to submit to their husbands, especially economically. Society does not consider domestic violence as a social problem, but rather as an internal problem between husband and wife, other people may not interfere. It is mistaken understanding of religious teachings assuming that men may rule over women. The process of investigating perpetrators of domestic violence is as follows: complaints from victims are received through the Women's and Children's Service Unit (PPA) Picket Officers. Furthermore the officer advised the victim to do a Visum et Repertum. The officer who receives the complaint will make a Minute of the Investigation of the victim. Based on information from the victim, the investigator will examine witnesses and call or arrest the suspect (depending on the results of Visum et Repertum) to conduct an examination of the suspect. In carrying out investigations of domestic violence, investigators experience several obstacles, namely: Domestic violence has a relatively closed (private) scope and is closely guarded because of the occurrence in the family environment; Domestic violence is often considered reasonable because it is believed that treating a wife as he wishes is the husband's right as the leader and head of the household; Domestic violence occurs in legal institutions, namely marriages. This fact causes the public to not respond to the complaints of the victims of the crime of domestic violence they experience.

Abstract

Working performance can be influenced by several factors, such as leadership style and working motivation. Leadership style determines the employee performance since the leader has the authority to direct his/her subordinates in carrying out organizational tasks. Thus, the work motivation may also affect employee performance, for in its absence, the poor of employees working enthusiasm tend to ignore their tasks.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of leadership style on employees performance, the effect of working motivation and simultaneously the effect of leadership style and working motivation on the employees performance of Dinas Perhubungan Pemerintah Kota Medan Officers.Population of this study are 474 officers of Dinas Perhubungan Pemerintah Kota Medan. The number of sample are 83 officer, determinated by using Slovin formula. The techniques of data collecting are questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. While data analysis technique used are classic assumption test, multiple regression, t-test, F-test and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the leadership style variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the employees performance. The better the leadership style, the higher the employee's performance. The working motivation variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employees performance. The better the working motivation, the higher the employee's performance. Both leadership style and work spirit variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employees performance. Mostly (67.20%) of employees performance variation can be explained by leadership style and work spirit simultaneously, while the remaining 32.80% is explained by other factors, such as competency and working discipline variables. It is recommended that the Head of Dinas Perhubungan Pemerinah Kota Medan need to improve his leadership in term of democratic style, which gives the authority of employees to make decisions on their respective fields of work, as well as avoiding relationships outside of work with subordinates. The Head of the Dinas Perhubungan Pemerinah Kota Medan should improve the employees’ working motivation by implementing working ethics to increase working attendance, as well as applying the positive motivation for higher working enthusiasm by giving awards to outstanding employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang “Partisipasi Masyarakat Terhadap Pemilihan Bupati Dan Wakil Bupati Nias Barat Tahun 2015”. Persoalan yang banyak dan sering terjadi hingga saat ini adalah kesadaran dan kepedulian masyarakat terhadap pemilu masih sangat rendah. Selain itu, kepercayaan publik terhadap figur calon Kepala Daerah kurang berpengaruh.Konsep dan defenisi partisipasi masyarakat merupakan hal yang mendukung tentang pemecahan permasalahan yang telah dirumuskan sebelumnya. Landasan teori atau tinjauan pustaka sebagai pendukung dan pedoman dalam melakukan penelitian untuk mencari solusi dan jawaban dalam penyelesaaian permasalahan penelitian. Menurut (Budiardjo, 1998:2) memaknai partisipasi politik adalah : kegiatan seseorang atau kelompok orang untuk ikut serta secara aktif dalam kehidupan politik, yaitu dengan jalan memilih pimpinan Negara dan secara langsung atau tidak langsung, mempengaruhi kebijakan Pemerintah (public policy). Kegiatan ini mencakup tindakan seperti memberikan suara dalam pemilihan umum, menghadiri rapat umum, menjadi anggota suatu partai atau kelompok kepentingan, mengadakan hubungan (contacting) dengan pejabat Pemerintah atau anggota parlemen, dan sebagainya. Selanjutnya, membahas tentang konsep tata cara dalam melakukan penelitian serta bentuk/metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian guna memantapkan si peneliti mencari jawaban yang konkrit di lapangan. Selain itu, penentuan informan juga sangat diperlukan guna memperoleh informasi dan data yang akurat guna memperdalam pembahasan dalam penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini adalah metode penelitian kaulitatif dan dengan informan berjumlah (16) orang.Kesimpulan, bahwasanya sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh pihak penyelenggara pemilu masih belum efektif dan masih sangat kurang, peran partai politik juga masih kurang, kepemimpinan kepala desa yang tidak profesional, dan pola pikir masyarakat yang masih tradisional. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pemilu kepala daerah Nias Barat khususnya di desa Hilisangawola.

Abstract

Employee performance is very important not only for the employee itself but also for the organization as a whole, so that every organization gives serious attention to the achievement of employee performance, which is accompanied by all efforts to improve it, so that the work target of the organization can be achieved properly. This study aims to determine the influence of commitment and workload on employee performance at Danau Toba International Hotel Medan, both partially and simultaneously. The population of this study were employees who worked at the Lake Toba International Medan Hotel, which numbered 50 people. For total population are less than 100 people, thus total population taken as samples. Data was collected using a questionnaire and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are correlation test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. The results of study showed that the commitment variable had a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees of the Danau Toba International Hotel Medan. The higher commitment causes employee performance to increase. Workload variables have a positive and significant influenceonemployees performance. The higher the workload, the higher the performance of hotel employees. Commitment and workload variables simultaneously have a significant influence on employess performance. The determination coefficient of 85.80% in employee performance can be explained by commitment and workload simultaneously, while the remaining 14.20% is explained by other factors, such as competency variables and work discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Dengan Insentif Sebagai Variabel Pemoderasi Studi Kasus Pada Pegawai Badan Keuangan Dan Aset Daerah Kabupaten Dairi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode data kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner (angket) kepada responden. Hasil penelitian ini 1) Pengembangan Karir (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Y). 2) Deskripsi Jabatan (X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Y). 3) Budaya Organisasi (X3) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Y). 4) Insentif (Z) merupakan variabel moderator yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara Pengembangan Karir (X1) dengan Kepuasan Kerja (Y). 5) Insentif (Z) bukan merupakan variabel moderator yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara Deskripsi Jabatan (X2) dengan Kepuasan Kerja (Y). 6) Insentif (Z) merupakan variabel moderator yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara Budaya Organisasi (X3) dengan Kepuasan Kerja (Y).

Abstract

Employees’ performance is an action taken by employees in carrying out the work given by the company. Many things influence employee performance including selection and training. This study aims at examining and analyzing the influence of selection and motivation on employees’ performance at PT. Motorindo Perkasa Raya Medan both partially and simultaneously.The theory used is a theory regarding employees’ selection, motivation and performance.The method used is a quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive research and it is descriptive explanatory. The method of data collection was done by doing interviews and questionnaires. The method of data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The population is all employees; the total number is 35 people. Sampling was taken by a saturated sampling technique. The results of the study proves that partially selection (2,960) and motivation (6,911) have a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance with a significant level of <0.05. Simultaneously selection and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with the results of Fcount (48,351) > Ftable (3.29) a significant level <0.05. The conclusion of the result of this study is that selection and motivation influence employee performance at PT Motorindo Perkasa Raya both partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the tourist attraction of Danau Siais, Angkola Sangkunur District, South Tapanuli Regency. The study aims at finding the development of Lake Siais tourism as a tourist attraction. The development of tourist attractions is an important concept in the world of tourism, by involving tourists and tourism object managers. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. In taking the sample, the accidental sampling formula is used, while for the analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis and Ansoff Matrix Analysis. In this research, there are two problem formulations that are trying to express in this research, namely: 1. What is the potential for the development of Lake Siais as a tourist attraction? 2. What is the strategy for developing Lake Siais as a tourist attraction? The research results have not been optimally realized, this is due to inadequate management, it is necessary to collaborate with investors and the Tourism Office.
