Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims at finding the effect of training, career planning, and work discipline segmentally and simultaneously on employee performance at KPP Pratama Medan Timur. The population of this research is 102 employees working as staff employees (outside the Head of the Office, Head of Section, and Supervisor). The number of samples taken is 81 people using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling method. Data collection is using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation study while the data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple regressions, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that the better the employee training, the higher the performance; the better the employee career planning, the higher the performance; the better the work discipline, the higher the performance. The variables of training, career planning, and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on performance variables. The coefficient of determination Adjust R2 is 0.969. This means that variations in employee performance can be described by training, career planning, and work discipline by 96.9%, while the remaining 3.1% is explained by other factors, such as organizational culture, compensation, and other factors.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis hubungan kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru di SMAN 1 Mardingding Kabupaten Karo. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Guru SMAN 1 Mardingding Kabupaten Karo yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan terdiri atas analisis korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson tersebut menunjukkan hasil korelasi (Correlation coefficient) di atas 0,8 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa variabel Kompetensi dengan variabel Kinerja memiliki korelasi yang erat. Dari tabel Anova nilai F hitung 147,840 dengan tingkat signifikansi adalah 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti variable Kompetensi (X) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Kinerja (Y). Nilai koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh adalah 0,831 nilai ini diambil dari R Square, hal ini berarti 83.10 % variabel Kinerja dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Kompetensi. Sisanya sebesar 16,9 % dijelaskan oleh pengaruh faktor lain atau variabel diluar model yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Tourist satisfaction can be influenced by various factors, including factors providing information about attractions or tourism promotion, as well as service factors on attractions. This study aims to determine the effect of tourism promotion and service quality partially and simultaneously on tourist satisfaction in Medan Maimun Palace tourist attraction. The population of this research is tourists visiting Medan Maimun Palace in 2018 during May to July as many as 46,331 tourists. To determine the number of samples used the Slovin formula, obtained as many as 100 people. Data collection techniques in this research were questionnaire, interview and documentation study while the data analysis technique used is the classic assumption test, multiple regression, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that the variable of tourism promotion partially had a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction on the attractions of the Maimun Palace. The better the promotion of tourism, the satisfaction of tourists will be higher. The service quality variable partially has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction on Maimun Palace tourist attraction. The higher the quality of service, then tourists will also feel more satisfied. The variable of tourism promotion and service quality simultaneously has a significant effect on tourist satisfaction on the attractions of Maimun Palace. The coefficient of determination shows that 86.10% of the variations in tourist satisfaction can be explained by tourism promotion and service quality simultaneously, while the remaining 13.90% is explained by other factors, such as ticket prices and the location of attractions in the Maimun Palace.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out and understand the causes of traffic violations in the jurisdiction of Labuhanbatu Resort Police, the criminal liability of traffic violators that resulted in deaths in traffic accidents, overcoming traffic violations in the jurisdiction of Labuhanbatu Resort Police.Research results show that the factors causing traffic accidents are usually classified as identical to the elements of the transportation system, namely road users, drivers and pedestrians, vehicles, roads and the environment, or a combination of two or more elements. The criminal liability of traffic violators which results in deaths in traffic accidents, in addition to imprisonment, confinement, or fines, traffic criminals can be subjected to additional criminal sanctions in the form of revocation of a driver's license or compensation caused by traffic crime.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan apa yang membedakan perjanjian kerja waktu tertentu pada Undang Undang No.13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan dengan Undang Undang No.11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja; bagaimana penerapan Undang Undang No.11 Tahun 2020 khususnya tentang Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu; dan apakah kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu berdasarkan Undang Undang No. 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja. Perbedaan Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu pada Undang Undang No.13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan dengan Undang Undang No.11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja terlihat lebih signifikan di hak yang diterima oleh pekerja kontrak. Pada dasarnya penulis melihat perubahan yang ada dilakukan pada perjanjian kerja waktu tertentu di Undang Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja secara garis besar lebih memperhatikan detail hak yang diperoleh oleh pekerja, yang artinya perlindungan hukum yang lebih jelas kepada para pekerja kontrak terbukti dengan adanya kompensasi di setiap berakhirnya kontrak yang perhitungannya disesuaikan dengan masa kerja walaupun masa kerja kontrak dapat diperpanjang sampai batas maksimal 5 (lima) tahun.Penulis melihat jika dalam menerapkan Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu sesuai dengan Undang Undang No.11 Tahun 2020 maka tentu saja akan memberikan penghidupan yang lebih baik kepada para pekerja kontrak walaupun sebagai status pekerja dengan perjanjian kerja waktu tertentu. Hak – hak yang mengakomodir dalam undang undang tersebut menjawab permintaan para pekerja kontrak yang selama ini berhenti kontrak tanpa mendapatkan apapun sehingga penerapan Undang Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 dapat dilaksanakan dan diterima dengan lebih baik oleh para pekerja kontrak tersebut.Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu berdasarkan Undang Undang No. 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja yaitu: Kendala Umum berupa penafsiran yang berbeda dan adanya pemikiran tentang merugikan pekerja/buruh Kendala secara spesifik misalnya di PT. Mutiara Inti Sari juga hanya tentang takut adanya ketidakpastian masa kerja dan lainnya lebih kepada teknis peralihan PKWT atas kontrak berjalan.

Abstract

Komunikasi anatarpribadi dalam keluarga sangat berperan terhadap kehidupan anak. Komunikasi dalam keluarga merupakan hal yang penting untuk menjaga hubungan antarpribadi tiap anggota keluarga, khusunya hubungan orangtua dan anaknya. Karena orangtua yang memegang andil besar dalam keluarga. Tujuan;untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Komunikasi Antarpribadi Orangtua dan Anak Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa SMA Negeri 9 Medan. Metode ;Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti dalam penulisan tesis ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 9 Medan.Mulai dari kelas X sampai kelas XII berjumlah 645. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 81 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis univariat dan uji hipotesis dengan uji t dan uji koefisien determinasi.Hasil; Berdasarkan nilai signifikansi (Sig) : dari output diatas diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) antara komunikasi antarpribadi orangtua dengan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa diketahui nilai T hitungnya sebesar 4,011 > T table (1,990) dan nilai sig nya sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.Kesimpulan; Ada pengaruh yang sinifikan variabel komunikasi antarpribadi orangtua dengan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 9 Medan. Saran; disarankan agar orang tua membangun intensitas komunikasi dengan anak agar mampumemahami dan memberi sugesti bagi anak dan kepada siswa agar lebih komunikatif dalam berbicara dan banayak melakukan pendekatan persuasif dengan orangtua.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp Aquaculture business opportunities in Indonesia are getting better. Great potential for Vannamei shrimp development is owned by Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. This study aims at analyzing the business by identifying internal and external environmental factors that influence the development of Vannamei shrimp culture and formulate alternative strategies that can be applied in the development of Vannamei shrimp culture in Langkat Regency. Quantitative analysis was applied to determine the internal and external environment in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and SWOT analysis. IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, IE Matrix, and QSP Matrix are used for quantitative analysis. The IFE and EFE matrices show that this business has internal and external conditions at a moderate and average position. It was found that the best strategy was to maintain and develop the business horizontally according to the IE Matrix. The SWOT matrix recommends six alternative strategies that can be grouped, namely: Increase production and land use potential. The priority strategy in this study using the QSP Matrix is ​​to maintain production stability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and understand the factors that cause of the children to commit narcotics crime, the treatment for children who commit narcotics crime, the obstacles in the treatment for the children who commit narcotics crime in the jurisdiction of police in the big city Resortt of Medan. Data collection in this study was carried out by literature review, namely by collecting data and various reading sources, namely books, magazines, opinions of experts regulations about factors that cause children to commit narcotics crimeimplementation of the investigation of children who commit narcotics crime in the police of big city Resortt of Medan, obstacles in investigating children who commit narcotics crime in the police of big city Resortt of Medan, field research, namely by conducting direct research in the field, in this case the author conducted a study in the police of big city Resortt of Medan and other agencies that respect child protection, using oral interview techniques. The results show that the factors that cause a child to commit narcotics crime are a family situation that is broken home, lack of attention and time given to children, both in the field of education and in maintaining intimacy in the family,fragility of family values or norms, including knowledge of politeness values, a family economy that is unable to support life's needs, including the need to continue school or find work, to prove the courage to take dangerous actions such as speeding, fighting, hanging out with women, to challenge or fight an authority (parents, teachers, law).The investigation of children who committed narcotics crime in the police of big city Resortt of Medan was carried out by investigators, both from the police of Medan. Investigation of a person suspected of being a perpetrator of narcotics abuse was carried out as a follow-up on: reports or complaints, press releases or being caught red handed. Obstacles in the investigation of children who commit narcotics crime in the police of Big City Resortt of Medan are in addition to the organizational Polri needs to increase individual professionalism or individuals in providing services such us abuse of power, use of forcego beyond authority and discrimination, leave requests for services or help or law enforcment without the right reasons, discration that goes beyond the limits and stalling, arrogant, disrespectful, sluggish and has not treated elderly people, children and women appropriatly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work culture, work motivation and work load on employee work productivity at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research is a correlational statistical study, where the data obtained is disclosed based on data in the field. The data is then analyzed by statistical methods. The data collected includes three independent variables, namely work culture (X1), work motivation (X2), and workload (X3) as well as one dependent variable, namely work productivity (Y). This research was conducted at the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) Serdang Bedagai Regency office. The research began to be carried out on December 2019 to March 2020. Sampling technique is used to determine the sample to be used in the research, so that an estimated value can be obtained. The sampling technique in this study is the saturated sampling method so that the number of samples in this study is 40 respondents. Data analysis was done by using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that work culture partially has a significant effect on employee work productivity at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Serdang Bedagai Regency with a t-count value of 5.069> from t-table 1.685 or with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work motivation partially has a significant effect on work productivity at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Serdang Bedagai Regency with a t-count value of 2.248> from the t-table 1.685 or with a significance value of 0.031 < 0.05. Work load partially has a significant effect on work productivity at the Regional Civil Service Agency of Serdang Bedagai Regency with a t-count value of 2.643 > from the t-table 1.685 or with a significance value of 0.012 < 0.05. Work culture, work motivation and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on the workload of the Serdang Bedagai District Civil Service Agency with an F-count value of 36.934 > F-table 2.87 or with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The problem of trafficking in women and children or known as trafficking in person lately appears to be a problem that is much debated both at national and international levels and is said to be a form of slavery today and violating human rights. So that the formulation of the problem that can be raised is related to the legal phenomenon, namely: 1). What is the legal protection of women and children victims of trafficking currently in the jurisdiction of the Medan City Police Resort? 2). What are the factors that cause the trafficking of women and children in the jurisdiction of the Medan City Police Resort, and 3). What are the government's policies and the role of the community in overcoming the problem of the rampant level of trafficking in women and children in the jurisdiction of the Medan City Big City Resort? This research is descriptive and is seen from its objectives including empirical legal research. The location of this research was carried out at the Medan Big City Resort Police North Sumatra Province. The types of data used include primary data and secondary data. The method of collecting data is through interviews and library research, both books, legislation, papers, results of previous research, documents, and so on. The results of this study indicate that the discussion on the issue of regulation of legal protection for children and women victims of human trafficking crimes is spread in several laws and regulations that are both general and specific in nature, such as: the Criminal Code, Law No. 21 of 2007 concerning Eradication of Crime in Trafficking in Persons, Act No. 13 of 2006 concerning Protection of Witnesses and Victims. The factors that cause child and female trafficking are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors internal factors are individual factors, economic factors, family factors, educational factors, lifestyle factors and free association, while external factors are environmental factors, cultural factors, factors weak law enforcement, marriage at a young age, social conflict and war, mass media. Government policy is a protection policy for victims whose essence is an integral part that cannot be separated from protection policies. Based on this concept, the role of the state in creating a social welfare is not only limited to fulfilling the material needs of its citizens, but more than that for the fulfillment of a sense of comfort and security in activities. Indonesia has a law specifically regulating the Protection of Victims of Crimes, namely through Law No. 13 of 2006 concerning Protection of witnesses and victims. The Role of the Community As a deterrent to child trafficking, with more attention to child trafficking crimes, the community environment can overcome and prevent the rampant occurrence of child trafficking; As a protector of children victim so ftrafficking.
