Abstract

The study aims to analyze the priority of developing tourist villages during the new normal period in Petang District, Badung Regency Bali. The theory and concepts used to answer the problems in this research are the concept of tourism product components, the concept of a tourism village, the concept of new normal tourism. The research method used is qualitative research using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data obtained through the process of observation, interviews and focus group discussions. The results of this study indicate that the priority of developing a tourism village in Petang District in the new normal era is an ancillary aspect as the main development priority. Then, the order of priority aspects of development that can be done next is attraction, accessibility, amenity, available packages and activity. Related to ancillary as the main priority aspect, there are institutional sub-criteria as things that can be prioritized first compared to the development of additional services. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the form of institutional development that will be implemented is by holding a collaboration between the Petang District Government and the tourism institutional where the assistance collaboration is carried out in stages starting with the establishment of a tourism management system. KEY WORDS: tourism village, priority development, tourism product, new tourism era.

Abstract

Academic distress diindikasikan menjadi penyebab mahasiswa melakukan prokrastinasi akademik dalam penyusunan skripsi atau tugas akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh academic distress terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelompok sampel yaitu mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Makassar (N1=164) dan Politeknik Pariwisata Makassar (N2=53) yang sedang menyusun skripsi atau tugas akhir yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dengan mengadopsi skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara academic distress terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang menulis skripsi proyek formal.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered various kinds of activities, especially in the world of tourism. Based on data on international tourist visits to Indonesia in August, it experienced a significant decrease of 89.22%. The Deputy for Destination and Infrastructure Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) predicts that international tourist visits to Indonesia only occupy the number 4 million people, which before the pandemic occupied the figure of 18 million visitors. The purpose of this study is to find out the perception of local tourists towards the development of international tourists during the pandemic, the method used is to conduct interviews with local tourists randomly in the Barru district. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative to explain the research results obtained. The result of this study is that the decline in tourism visitors has a significant impact on people's income, especially in Barru district, but this, it can reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus that is sweeping the world.

Abstract

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is increasingly spreading and spreading rapidly and is becoming the biggest global polemic for now. It also affects limited SME activity and fewer direct-to-consumer purchases than usual. The development of MSMEs in Topejawa Beach Tourist Destinations, Takalar Regency in the Recovery of the Covid-19 Pandemic, in addition to requiring strategies that can affect the Development of MSMEs in Topejawa Beach Tourist Destinations, Takalar Regency, is a marketing strategy. Based on the background description above, the researcher is interested in conducting research and compiling a thesis, with the title "Analysis of MSME Development in Topejawa Beach Tourist Destinations, Takalar Regency After Covid-19, the problem was formulated in this study, namely Whether Marketing Strategies Affect the Development of MSMEs in Topejawa Beach Tourist Destinations, Takalar Regency in recovering from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Benefits This research is theoretically and beneficially. The population in the number of 63 MSMEs. The sampling method is Purposive sampling samples taken by 63 people for the development of MSMEs at the Topejawa Beach Tourism location, Takalar Regency. something that the questionnaire would measure. Data analysis techniques debgab Conduct validity tests and significance tests of a variable are said to be reliable if they have a Cronbach Alpha > 0.60. In this study, using multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) Application Program for windows. This can be seen based on the regression results that have been obtained by researchers, namely T count 13,383 > T table 2,684 with a significance level of 0.002 which means it is smaller than 0.05. Abstract

This research aims at finding out 1) the characteristics of Food and Beverage Service Management students of Makassar Tourism Polytechnic, 2) the students’ needs in English language for Food and Beverage Service based on Standard Operational Procedure, 3) the designed and developed English language materials based on Standard Operational Procedure for Food and Beverage Service Students, 4) the validity of the developed English Materials based on needs analysis of Standard Operational Procedure for Food and Beverage Service Students. This research applies Research and Development (R&D) method by using the ADDIE Model by taking 117 students of FBS Management department, Makassar Tourism Polytechnic as the respondents. The results of data analysis show that 1) The English competency level of the students of FBS Management department are mostly in the intermediate level (81.20%) 2) The language skills mostly needed by the students of FBS management department is speaking skill and they prefer to study English in the pair work or role play activity. In terms of the SOP of the restaurant services, the results have shown that all of the procedures for each SOP needed by the students of FBS as the English material for FBS Management department. 3) The English material which is designed and developed based on the need analysis of SOP restaurant services, 4) the results of the last validation for the designed and developed material indicate that the material is ready to be used. The quality of the developed materials is categorized as good material. Thus, it can be used as a main source to learn English Food and Beverage Service Management at Makassar Tourism Polytechnic

Abstract

This study intends to improve the comprehension and knowledge of local tourists and Japanese foreign tourists in order to promote South Sulawesi's tourism attractions by making the best use of digital dictionaries. this study tries to describe the design concept of an Android-based Katakana and Lontara tourist attraction digital dictionary application. This study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology to describe the style of katakana and lontara letter transliteration of tourism destination names. This study revealed that there are several steps taken in transliterating the names of tourist objects. This study suggested that this application can serve as a guide for foreign tourists not only online, but also offline in order to reduce quota/network usage.

Abstract

This article aimed to findout a model for developing local culinary tourism patterns in the culinary tourism market segment and local food production in Lerep Village, Semarang Regency, especially Ungaran Barat sub-district using the Storynomics Tourism approach. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The data had been taken from literatur study, observation and interviews with Lerep Village Government employees. It's finding showed thatthe development of culinary tourism activities in the Lerep Tourism Village use a model of developing local culinary tourism patterns based on local wisdom which is transformed into local menus created by the Lerep community. It was concluded that the modeling of local culinary travel patterns provides an insight for tourism actors and prospective tourists to determine travel activities, especially the local culinary world which has strong regional cultural characteristics. Abstract

This study aims to determine the tourist attraction and design a mapping model of the distribution of tourist attraction and amenity in Lunjen Village, Enrekang Regency by making a map of tourist attraction and amenity in Lunjen Village. This research model is applied so that the results can be implemented. Data collection was done through direct observation in the field accompanied by unstructured interviews and documentation. The result of the research is a map of the distribution of tourist attractions and amenities in Lunjen Village using ArcGis 10.8, which is used as an auxiliary medium for tourists in obtaining information about tourist attractions in Lunjen Village, Enrekang Regency. The conclusion in this study is the distribution of tourist attractions using ArcGis 10.8 can make it easier to see tourist attractions and amenity in Lunjen Village in the form of a map.

Abstract

The functioning of the parts in the organization depends on the human ability in the organization, especially in communication, motivation, and job satisfaction for the direction of achieving employee performance goals. This study aims to test and prove empirically whether communication, motivation,n and job satisfaction have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This research is quantitative, popular, ion and sam in research areas e all employees of Hotel Harper Perintis By Aston, Makassar with the current population reachesreachingple. The sampling technique in this case uses a saturated sampling technique. This study was analyzed with SPSS 24 software. The results showed that (1) Communication had a positive and significant influence on the performance of Harper Perintis employees by Aston - Makassar; (2) Motivation positively and significantly influence to employee performance of Harper Perintis by Aston - Makassar and (3) Job satisfaction positively and significantly influence to the performance of Harper Perintis employee by Aston - Makassar.

Abstract

Subak is an inseparable part of tourism in Bali. It is an organization that consists of paddy field owners and farmers that live around the subak area where they receive water from certain dams which are used by the members individually. Thus, an effort to preserve the existence of subak in the middle of modern global culture is needed by developing subak as sustainable tourism which is currently becoming a trend in the world of tourism. In this case, arts, cultures, and religion are potentials that must be owned by a sustainable tourism destination. The problem in developing a subak’s potential as a sustainable tourism destination is the lack of local people understanding in maximizing the potential of subak in Jatiluwih village as sustainable tourism. The purpose of this research is to identify the concept and the subak’s potential as a sustainable tourism destination in Jatiluwih village, Tabanan, Bali. This research can be categorized as a qualitative descriptive study that was carried out for one month and was located in Jatiluwih village, Tabanan, Bali. The data collection is done through non-participatory observation, an in-depth interview with three informants consisting of a local business actor, a pekseh (the leader of the subak), as well as a local public figure, and documentation studies towards relevant literature and related documents. The result of this research shows that subak still preserves the Tri Hita Karana concept in the system of implementing agricultural activities in Jatiluwih village. On the other hand, with the existence of subak people in Bali can be wiser in managing their natural resources and they can be used according to their needs so that the capacity of the natural resources will always be maintained and always be preserved it can be used by the next generation. Subak's potential development as a sustainable tourism destination can increase the local community commodities in driving sustainable tourism based on agro-tourism so that in the future, the preservation of their natural resources can always be maintained and can be enjoyed by the next generation.
