Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach, namely field research (Field Reseach). In this study the method used to collect data by (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation.the location of this research was conducted at Nurul Jadid Paiton University Probolinggo, and the population is the head of study, lecturers and students. From the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher that, there are three targets for the development of Key Performance Indicators: first, improving the quality of learning and higher education relations, second improving the quality of lecturers and education staff and finally the realization of quality governance of the Directorate General of Higher Education.Key performance indicators have detailed performance targets called SKP (employee performance targets) which have target values that must be achieved each year. In improving the quality of good Key Performance Indicators, a leadership style is needed that can innovate and can coordinate all subordinates properly and correctly. Therefore, the style carried out by several heads of study programs in determining strategies to improve the quality of study programs is to apply democratic and transformational leadership styles.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of complete learning outcomes for grade 1 students at SD Negeri 2 Ngrawan regarding numeracy. The aim of this research is to improve the completeness of student learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action research. Classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. The subjects of this research were class 1 students consisting of 12 students. Techniques for collecting data are tests, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that carrying out learning activities by applying the project based learning model can improve the completeness of students' numeracy learning outcomes. This is indicated by an increase in test results from each cycle. In cycle I, the percentage of student success reached 25%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the percentage of student success reached 83%. The research can be said to be successful because the percentage of success reaches ≥80%. The conclusion of this research is that the project based learning model can improve the completeness of students' numeracy learning outcomes.

Abstract

As a society that lives in the era of technology, of course, we must be able to make good use of the presence of these technological advances, especially in educational institutions. This is also inseparable from the role of a teacher who is also required to be able to utilize all the presence of technology well. Starting from the learning process to the evaluation of learning. Seeing from the number of software that can be used for the learning process and evaluation materials, the author considers it necessary to describe what software can be used for learning evaluation in the current era. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods. The purpose of making this article is to find out how to use applications or software in learning evaluations consisting of Quiziiz, Google forms and Kahoot. The result of this research is how we utilize applications and software in educational institutions starting from learning, administration, and evaluation of learning which is actually a must for all of us because at this time we are already in an era where everything has used technology. Not only that, for students in today's era, it can be said that he has known the name of technology from an early age. For example, in kindergarten educational institutions that currently have a lot of use of technological advances.

Abstract

This research explores the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the Islamic Studies Institute, a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) in Indonesia. Utilizing a qualitative approach involving observation, interviews, and documentation, the study subjects include the institution's head and teaching staff. The research context revolves around the existence of pesantren as Islamic educational institutions with a longstanding presence in Indonesia, influenced by the majority of the population adhering to Islam. The study aims to comprehend the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Merdeka Curriculum in pesantren. Given the backdrop of the dynamic changes in curricula in Indonesia, from KTSP (School-Based Curriculum) to the 2013 Curriculum, this research highlights the role of the Merdeka Curriculum in influencing learning patterns and enhancing the quality of education. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum requires careful planning and ongoing impact evaluations. The primary focus of the research is on the perspectives of the institution's head and teaching staff regarding the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as their efforts in curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation. The research concludes by emphasizing the importance of effective management in adopting the Merdeka Curriculum in pesantren, ensuring a significant improvement in the quality of education in line with the curriculum's objectives.

Abstract

This research was conducted at TK Satu Atap Sabron Sari, Kampung Sabron Sari, Sentani Barat District, Jayapura Regency, focusing on the effectiveness of using picture cards as a medium to enhance early reading skills in young children. Established on July 9, 2010, under the auspices of Yayasan Laskar Kristus, this kindergarten offers a conducive and comfortable learning environment, making it a preferred choice for many parents in the area. The study employed an observational method with a two-cycle learning approach. In Cycle I, it was found that the majority of the students were categorized as Not Yet Developed in reading ability. However, in Cycle II, following the implementation of picture cards as a learning medium, there was a significant improvement in reading skills, with an increase in the number of students achieving Developed According to Expectations and Fully Developed categories. These results indicate that the use of picture cards is an effective method to enhance early reading skills. This study underscores the importance of selecting appropriate learning media to support the learning process in early childhood, especially in the context of beginning reading skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of determination of the principal's managerial competence, academic supervision, work ethic and work motivation on the performance of teachers of SMK Teknologi Nasional. This type of research is expost facto with a sample of 36 teachers. Data was collected by questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by simple regression techniques, multiple regression and partial correlation. The results showed that: 1) there was a significant determination of the principal's managerial competence on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.991 and an effective contribution of 22.62%. 2) There is a significant determination of academic supervision of teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.984 and an effective contribution of 23.62%. 3) There is a significant determination of work ethic on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.993 and an effective contribution of 26.78%. 4) There is a significant determination of work motivation on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.986 and an effective contribution of 26.81%. 5) simultaneously, there is a significant determination of the principal's managerial competence, academic supervision, work ethic, and work motivation on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.998 on the performance of teachers of SMK Teknologi Nasional. Thus, these four variables are used as predictors of the level of tendency to improve the performance of teachers of SMK Teknologi Nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Job Creation Law and the concept of Omnibus Law in Indonesia with a focus on harmonization of labor regulations, the process of law formation, and implementation at the regional level as well as legal protection for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The research methods used are juridical normative and descriptive qualitative, with data collection through analysis of legal documents. The results showed weaknesses in harmonization of labor regulations, non-conformity in the process of forming the Job Creation Law with laws and regulations, as well as good governance but needed to overcome obstacles at the regional level. Legal protection for MSME actors in the Job Creation Law shows potential effectiveness, but needs further evaluation. This research recommends review and improvement in the formulation and implementation of regulations to achieve better results and in accordance with strong legal principles in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze problems and solutions in the literacy improvement program carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Prambon. The method used in this study is to use qualitative descriptive research by collecting data by interviewing responding teachers at the school and also the principal as the person in charge of the program that will be implemented to improve literacy at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Prambon, namely the literacy program 10 minutes before learning activities begin and love the library which is carried out with a predetermined schedule at In its implementation, supervision and evaluation are always carried out by the principal as the person in charge of the activity, there are several problems that exist from students and also from the infrastructure of books.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of edutainment learning utilizing 3-dimensional imagery as a medium for educational content creation at MI Darul Ulum Curahdami Bondowoso. Using a qualitative approach with a specially selected phenomenological design, this research targeted key stakeholders, including the principal, the fifth grade teacher, and a group of 10 MI Darul Ulum students. The methodological arsenal consisted of interview sessions, careful observation, and systematic documentation. The researcher found that the edutainment learning model, seamlessly integrated with 3-dimensional imagery for content development, has a great ability to foster a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment, especially in the field of early childhood education. This phenomenon was closely related to the high enthusiasm that students show when encountering visually appealing and captivating images during the learning process. The study underscores implications that require ongoing guidance and evaluative action by educators. This is important to understand the nuances of the dynamics edutainment learning model implemented and measuring the tangible improvements in the students' overall learning experience.

Abstract

This study endeavors to assess the effectiveness of Social Media Marketing (SMM) on the brand gestalt of educational institutions, with a specific focus on universities. In particular, the research aims to examine the impact of SMM on 4S dimensions of brand gestalt: story, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders. The research design employed is descriptive causal, utilizing primary data collected through a survey of 209 samples consisting of private university students in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), supported by the SmartPLS statistical program. The results of the analysis reveal a positive and significant influence of SMM on all four dimensions of brand gestalt: story, sensescape, servicescape, and stakeholders. These findings shed light on the crucial role of social media in shaping robust brand perceptions.
