Abstract

Human memory has a large capacity and unlimited capabilities. Humans use memory to store information important for survival. Mnemonics is a strategy to improve memory performance by encoding information with associations between new information and previously learned information in long-term memory. This research uses a qualitative research method, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) model with the PRISMA approach with stages Identification, Screening, Eligibility, Included. Identification of literature review data was taken from publish or perish, Google Scholar, Researchgate, and ScienceDirect and 141 articles were obtained which were searched based on keywords, then in second selection they were selected based on more sensitive issues and 19 learning articles were obtained using mnemonic strategies. In the 3rd stage of selection, a study was carried out on the methodology and research results by 2 reviewers so that appropriate articles were obtained and in accordance with the SLR protocol. There were 5 relevant articles containing the issue of neuropsychological studies of learning with memory strategies that can be applied to education in elementary schools. From the results of the analysis, it was found that mnemonics are a fun learning approach strategy with a high success rate and are able to strengthen retention in long-term memory. Menmonic also improves memory performance in the part of the brain Pre Frontal Cortex.

Abstract

There are still many students who do not picket each other in class together. The students do not yet understand the meaning of the character value of mutual cooperation. The aim of this research is to improve the character of mutual cooperation through the habit of Tri Hita Karana. This research is classroom action research. The subjects in this research were 28 class IV students. This research was carried out using 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely: (1) Action Planning, (2) Action Implementation (3) Observation (4) Reflection. In this research, the data collection method used is the non-test method. And the data collection techniques in this research are observation and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. In this research, researchers used several aspects of measuring the character of mutual cooperation which are guided by the Tri Hita Kirana, namely the concept of pawongan which is then explained through several indicators. The results of the implementation of actions in cycle I and implementation of cycle II showed that the average value of student character results in cycle I was 70% which was in the good category and the average value of student character results in cycle II was 85% which was in the very good category. . Based on this, it can be concluded that through Tri Hita Karana habituation, the character of mutual cooperation can improve and become a habit if given treatment and action repeatedly.

Abstract

Building a learning organization can be done by maximizing five models of learning organization systems that are interrelated, namely learning, organization, people, knowledge, and technology. Each of the learning organization's five components actively supports each other to get maximum results, be sustainable, and achieve organizational goals. A strong leader is a leader who always tries to learn and build a learning culture in his organization. In the current era of globalization, the concept of a learning organization is very important to adapt to the dynamic changes of the times. This study aims to analyze the extent to which AB Home Education as an educational institution has implemented the concept of learning organization and applied it in teaching and learning activities. The research method used is qualitative research by conducting interviews and researchers are directly involved as facilitators at AB Home. AB Home Education has applied the concept of learning organization, namely (1) personal mastery, (2) mental models, (3) shared vision, (4) team learning, (5) system thinking through a curriculum that is structured based on community-based education and talents management in education. The curriculum is designed with a composition of 60% activity and 40% academic.

Abstract

The Qur'an is a guide for Muslims throughout the world, and they must learn it. Educating children to learn the Qur'an should begin as early as possible so that they can better grasp the Qur'an, with no exceptions for children with special needs, such as those with intellectual disabilities, who also have the right to academic and religious education. In general, there are still many children who cannot read the Qur'an. Therefore, this research aims to find out the implementation process, evaluation system, and implications of the application of the tilawati model in learning the Qur'an for children with intellectual disabilities at the Special School of the Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC) Surabaya. This study employs a qualitative approach and descriptive method using a descriptive-qualitative research design. The research findings reveal that the process of integrating the tilawati paradigm in learning the Qur'an for children with intellectual disabilities at YPAC Surabaya Special School is carried out in one class with normal children, but is taught differently considering that learning for children with intellectual disabilities takes a long time. Regarding teaching methods, the learning process for these children is carried out by applying classical and individual methods.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of the murottal method in memorizing the Qur'an at TPQ al-Muhajirin. Indonesia, whose majority population is Muslim, is able to produce a young generation who memorize the Koran. Unfortunately, the intensity of memorizing the Koran in Indonesia is still less than that of Saudi Arabia when viewed from a ratio perspective. Memorizing the Qur'an has many lessons and advantages, unfortunately people still cannot identify these benefits. The urgency of this research is to produce a relevant method for memorizing the Al-Qur'an so that the intensity of memorizing the Al-Qur'an in Indonesia can increase. This article uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-narrative approach. The data collection techniques used in this article are interviews, observation and documentation. The primary data sources in this research are the founders, teachers and students of TPQ al-Muhajirin. Meanwhile, the secondary data used are books, articles and reports relating to the discussion. The collected data will be analyzed using content analysis techniques. The research results showed that TPQ al-Muhajirin used the murottal method in memorizing the Al-Qur'an. This method is implemented in three periods: 1) Introduction, 2) Training and 3) Post-training. Then, the advantages of memorizing using the murottal method are 1) Strengthening memorization through hearing, 2) Setting tempo and rhythm, 3) Concentration, 4) Audio-visual associations, 5) Appreciation and sincerity and 6) Flexibility and accessibility. Cumulatively, the murottal method for memorizing the Al-Qur'an is considered effective because it is able to generate high interest in memorizing and create students who excel in competitions.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out mathematical concepts related to the ethnomathematics of local wisdom of Sasak culture. This research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which was carried out by identifying, reviewing, evaluating and interpreting all available research. The design used in this research is to summarize, review and analyze 9 articles with the scope of discussing the Ethnomathematics of Sasak Culture with details of one article published in the reputable journal Q2 and the rest in the accredited National Journal Sinta. Searches for these articles were carried out through online journals such as journal articles from Google Scholar, Research Gate, SINTA, DOAJ, and Scopus. The conclusion of this research is the finding of mathematical concepts related to Ethnomathematics, local wisdom of Sasak Culture, consisting of Flat Plane Geometry, Geometric Space Structures, Geometric Transformation Concepts, Measurement, Volume of Rotating Objects, Perimeter and Area of Flat Plane Structures.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the differences in learning outcomes of creative and entrepreneurial project subjects before applying the interactive video media-assisted problem-based learning model, 2) knowing the differences in learning outcomes of creative and entrepreneurial project subjects after applying the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive video media, 3) knowing the significant influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by video media interactive for grade XI students majoring in Hospitality at SMK PGRI 3 Badung in 2023/2024. This research is quantitative research with a type of research, namely quasi-experiment (quasy experiment). The results showed that: 1) The learning outcomes of creative and entrepreneurial project subjects before applying the interactive video media-assisted problem-based learning model were obtained a range value of 21, a minimum value of 56 and a maximum value of 77, at a mean value of 66.59, a standard deviation of 6.265 and a variance of 39.248, 2) Student learning outcomes after applying a problem-based learning model assisted by video media interactive where the range value is 12, at a minimum value of 80 and a maximum of 92, the mean value is 85.97, the standard deviation is 3.262 and the variance value is 10.638, 3) There is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive video media on the results of student learning creative and entrepreneurial project subjects where Pair 1 obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 smaller than 0.05, then it means that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students for the experimental class Pre-Test with the experimental class Post-Test. In the output of Pair 2 obtained a significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 smaller than 0.05, so it means that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students for the control class Pre-Test with the control class Post-Test.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the evaluation separately or together in the context, input, process, product and constraints that occur in the implementation of the inclusion education program for children with special needs in SD Bali. This research is a program evaluation research with the CIPP model. The population in this study is class teachers (homeroom teachers), parents of students, subject teachers and GPK teachers. The sample determination in this study used purposive sampling techniques, with a total sample of 33 people consisting of class teachers (homeroom teachers), parents, subject teachers and GPK teachers. Data context, input, process and product in this study were collected by questionnaire using Likert scale 1-5. The data analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis method. To determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the inclusion education program at SD Bali Hati, the raw score is transformed into a Z score then into a T-Score then verified into the Glickman Quadrant. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that: 1) the implementation of the inclusion education program in SD Bali in terms of the context component is classified as effective, 2) the implementation of the inclusion education program in SD Bali in terms of the input component is classified as effective, 3) the implementation of the inclusion education program in SD Bali in terms of the process component is classified as effective, 4) the implementation of the inclusion education program in SD Bali in terms of the product component is classified as effective, 5) the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the inclusion education program in SD Bali in terms of the components of context, input, process and product obtained effective results.

Abstract

The research in this thesis is motivated by the many teacher competencies that have not been achieved in accordance with the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 Article 39 Paragraph 2. And also the parenting style of parents who tend not to support children's education because they have to help parents because of work and economic demands. The type of research used by this research is quantitative research with an "ex-post facto" approach. Data collection is carried out by questionnaire instrument. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used multiple regression. The results showed (1) There is a significant influence between parenting style on student achievement at SMA Negeri Satu Atap Lembongan as shown from tcalculate > ttable (3,840 > 1.972), the significance value of t for the parenting variable is 0.000 and the value is smaller than the probability of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) (2) There is a significant influence between teacher pedagogic competence on student achievement at SMA Negeri Satu Atap Lembongan Shown from tcount > ttable (2.920 > 1.972). The significance value of t for the teacher's pedagogic competency variable is 0.004 and the value is smaller than the probability of 0.05 (0.004 < 0.05). (3) There is a significant influence between achievement motivation on student achievement at SMA Negeri Satu Atap Lembongan as shown from the ttable > (2,314 > 1,972). The significance value of t for the motivational variable is 0.021 and the value is smaller than the probability of 0.05 (0.021 < 0.05). (4) There is a significant influence between parenting, teacher pedagogic competence and achievement motivation on student achievement at SMA Negeri Satu Atap Lembongan as shown from Fhitung > Ftabel (11,975> 2.65). The significance value of the concurrent test (F test) is 0.000 and the value is smaller than the probability of 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

Education has a crucial role in shaping the character of students, including the character of discipline and manners. This study aims to explore the role of teachers in improving the character of discipline and manners of students at SD Tri Hita Alam Eco School, Denpasar. The background of the research refers to actual problems in schools related to student discipline and manners. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of related documents. The results showed several problems, including students arriving late, not obeying the dress code, and lack of manners towards teachers. The role of teachers in improving student character is very important. Teachers are not only teachers, but also as good guides and examples. Therefore, this study describes the role of teachers in shaping the character of discipline and manners of students. Teachers act as facilitators of learning, motivators, and enforcers of rules. The conclusion of this study shows that the role of teachers is very significant in improving the character of discipline and manners of students. It takes cooperation between teachers, schools, and parents to create an educational environment that supports the formation of student character.
