Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of the TPACK approach on problem solving skills and student learning independence in the Network Infrastructure Administration subject at SMK Negeri 1 Sepulu. The research methods used are quasi-experiments with Nonequivalent Control Group Design and mixed methods with Explanatory Design. Quantitative data were obtained from pretest and posttest, as well as questionnaires, which were analyzed using quantitative statistics. The results showed that the TPACK approach had a significant positive influence on both research variables, with the average value of problem solving skills and student learning independence higher in the experimental class than the control. Students also respond positively to learning with the TPACK approach. In conclusion, the TPACK approach is effective in improving students' problem-solving skills and learning independence. This research can be a reference for teachers to develop innovative learning in other subjects with similar characteristics.

Abstract

The problem of teaching and learning activities in schools is something that is often found by teachers when teaching. One of them is the lack of learning independence in students, the criteria for learning independence itself is that students can be said to learn independently if these students are active, creative, disciplined and responsible. Learning media is a solution to support the realization of learning independence in students. One of them is H5P learning media which is expected to realize and increase learning independence in students. This study uses the Kemmis-McTaggart model Class Action Research method which is divided into 2 cycles, cycle I and cycle II through 4 stages of research for each cycle, namely: planning, acting, observation and reflection. The results of this study can be concluded that teaching and learning activities using H5P learning media can increase students' learning independence. This can be seen from the increase in students' learning independence from cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

Today there is an economic gap in the midst of the congregation. The Church must play a role in overcoming the economic problems of the people. That is why the role of the pastor is very strategic, because the church as a whole is driven by the pastor. The purpose of this study is to produce a Christian entrepreneurship module design in an effort to produce quality and effective student skills in realizing holistic service. The type of research used in this study is research and development. The steps used include: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, and product revision. Product development carried out in this research only reaches the stage of producing the final product, namely the Christian entrepreneurship module. It can be concluded that: The textbooks produced in this study are developments from various sources; And this research and development produces products in the form of textbooks in the form of textbooks as an effort to improve the skills of theology students in holistic service.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students in Natural Sciences (IPA) subject through the application of concrete teaching aids in the learning process. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles. The research subjects are 27 sixth-grade students in SDN Pisangan Baru 01, East Jakarta, in the academic year 2018/2019. The results show that the use of concrete teaching aids effectively enhances students' learning outcomes, as evidenced by the increase in the average score from 57.77 in the initial test to 73.7 in the second cycle. Data analysis was conducted through observation and evaluation of students' learning outcomes. These findings indicate that concrete teaching aids can stimulate students' interest in learning, increase active participation, and facilitate understanding of IPA concepts. These results have positive implications for teaching practices in schools by emphasizing the importance of using methods that are suitable for students' characteristics to achieve the desired learning objectives. Thus, this research contributes to the understanding and development of effective teaching methods in the context of elementary education.

Abstract

Sports culture significantly influences identity formation, particularly among the youth. This significance is underexplored within the context of Iraqi Kurdistan, prompting this study to explore the connection between involvement in sports culture and national affiliation among university students. The study's objectives were to evaluate the levels of sports culture engagement and feelings of national belonging among the students and to investigate the correlation between these two factors. The research involved a sample of 286 students from the Physical Education and Psychology departments at Zakho University. The methodology included collecting data using a sports culture scale and a national affiliation scale, followed by statistical analysis through T-tests to assess levels and Spearman correlation to examine the relationship between sports culture and national affiliation. The results revealed high mean scores in both sports culture and national belonging scales across both departments, with Physical Education students exhibiting slightly higher averages. Importantly, the study found a moderately strong positive correlation between sports culture involvement and levels of national affiliation. The conclusions drawn from the study suggest that participation in and knowledge of sports culture are linked to increased feelings of national pride and connection among Kurdish university students. This underscores the potential of utilizing sports education and programming as tools to strengthen communal identities. The study recommends further research across different Iraqi populations to explore this relationship further.

Abstract

This study aims to research and analyze the impact of cognitive intelligence and emotional intelligence on internal control, as well as the impact of cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence, and internal control on classroom management. The subjects of the study consisted of elementary school teachers in Region 3, West Tegal District, Tegal City, with a total of 80 respondents. The sampling method used is the Saturated Sampling Technique, where the entire population is sampled. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, and data analysis using regression tests with mediation techniques. The results showed that cognitive intelligence has a positive impact on internal control, as well as emotional intelligence. However, cognitive intelligence does not have a significant impact on classroom management. On the other hand, emotional intelligence has a positive impact on classroom management. Internal control also has a positive impact on classroom management, and acts as a mediator in the relationship between cognitive intelligence and classroom management.

Abstract

This is quantitative descriptive research that analyzes the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) used as performance management tool for the teachers. The Results-Based Performance Management System was gathered through survey questionnaire. The assessment focused on the extent of implementation in terms of Performance Planning and Commitment; Performance Monitoring and Coaching; Performance Review and Evaluation; and Performance Rewards and Development Planning. There are 161 teacher respondents from the four (4) public elementary schools of District III in the Division of Makati City. The extent of implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System in terms of Performance Planning and Commitment and Performance Monitoring and Coaching were interpreted to a great extent with a weighted mean of 4.13 and 4.05 respectively. Meanwhile, in terms of Performance Rewarding and Planning and Performance Review and Evaluation, the respondents assessed as a great extent with the same weighted mean of 4.09. It was evident that the implementation of Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) improves teachers personally and professionally, there is a need that this program must be enhanced. Moreover, implementing such program helps teachers improve their practice in the teaching-learning process which will drive them to achieve better performance. There should be proper review to develop a program plan that addresses the challenges of the performance.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools must be able to compete in the economic world so that they need entrepreneurship education to support them in the future, especially in Jombang as a student city. This study aims to reveal the implementation of education in Jombang Regency so far. The method is qualitative by conducting literature studies and data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation as well as analytical techniques in the form of reduction data, display data and drawing conclusions. The results show that the planning is carried out by establishing policies, rules and strategic designs of educational activities. Its organization by establishing the organizational structure of education and its tasks, the main and functions of each, the duration of training, the setting of targets and goals. Its implementation includes the determination of comprehensive and detailed activity achievement indicators so that the weaknesses and advantages of local wisdom products or related business units are known. Control and supervision are carried out routinely and actively accompanied by certain records in the field so that they can be used as evaluation material and can be followed up to become better.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies used by lecturers in forming the religious character of students in the tertiary environment. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), data was obtained through systematic searches in academic databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and ProQuest, relevant articles were filtered and analyzed to identify patterns of strategies implemented by lecturers. The research results show that interactive approaches, the use of case studies, extracurricular activities, and personal coaching are some of the strategies commonly used by lecturers. Although these strategies have proven effective in shaping students' religious character, challenges such as religious plurality among students and the influence of popular culture highlight the need to develop more inclusive and adaptive strategies. The implications of this research are to provide practical guidance to universities and lecturers in increasing the effectiveness of religious learning and provide a basis for developing approaches that are more responsive to the religious and spiritual needs of students in higher education.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to identify the causes of errors in solving mathematical problems in class VI students at SD N Bulungcangkring. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Subjects were selected using a purposive technique. So, from 31 students at SD N 1 Bulungcangkring, the researchers chose 6 students who had 2 low, 2 medium and 2 high mathematical abilities with the consideration of selecting students with different mathematical abilities. The research results show that students errors in solving whole number story problems are influenced by several factors such as not understanding basic concepts, errors in algorithms or procedures and a lack of understanding of the steps in mathematical solving. From these results it can be concluded that students' errors in solving integer story problems are influenced by several factors such as not understanding basic concepts, errors in algorithms or procedures, and lack of understanding of the mathematical calculation steps needed to solve the problem. All of this suggests the need for a more in-depth learning approach to concepts, practice in applying relevant formulas and steps, and an emphasis on a thorough understanding of how to solve mathematical problems.
