Abstract

This study aimed to understand the influence of spiritual leadership and religiosity indicators on the effectiveness of change management in educational organisations as well as how spiritual leadership and religiosity interact in facilitating change in educational organisations. Using a qualitative method with a literature review approach, the study identified themes and patterns from various relevant sources. The results show that spiritual leadership plays an important role in formulating a vision, building a positive culture and increasing the commitment of organisational members. Indicators of religiosity such as individual religious commitment, piety and religious behaviour also contribute to successful change management. The interaction between spiritual leadership and religiosity can facilitate change by creating an environment that supports learning, overcoming resistance, and enhancing the well-being of organisational members

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and juvenile delinquency in Al Wachid Junior High School students in Surabaya. The subjects of this study are all students of Al Wachid Junior High School Surabaya totaling 150 people. Sampling was carried out by random sampling, using the Likert scale to collect research data, namely the self-esteem scale and the juvenile delinquency scale. The results of the study were analyzed using a regression technique with 6 special choices, and the results were F = 0.717, db = 2, p = 0.0506 (p > 0.05), which showed that there was no significant relationship between self-esteem and juvenile delinquency. Further findings showed that partially, self-esteem had no significant correlation with juvenile delinquency, with rx2y = -0.062, p = 0.053 (p > 0.05). Therefore, further research is suggested to explore other factors that may have a greater influence on juvenile delinquency, such as family environment, peer group, and socioeconomic conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the efficacy of project-based learning (PBL) in the context of English language teaching (ELT). The study seeks to identify the benefits and challenges associated with implementing PBL in language classrooms and explores its impact on language learning outcomes. A systematic literature review of relevant academic literature was conducted, focusing on studies published between 2010 and 2023. Peer-reviewed articles, books, and conference proceedings were analyzed to synthesize current findings on applying PBL in ELT settings. The review reveals that PBL promotes meaningful language use, fosters learner autonomy, and enhances communicative competence among language learners. Students engaged in PBL demonstrate improved motivation, collaboration skills, and critical thinking abilities. However, challenges such as time constraints, assessment issues, and instructor readiness were noted as potential barriers to effective PBL implementation. Based on the findings, recommendations include comprehensive teacher training in PBL methodologies, the development of appropriate assessment strategies that align with PBL objectives, and integration of PBL activities that cater to diverse learner needs. Future research should explore PBL's long-term impact on language proficiency and investigate effective strategies for overcoming implementation challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effectiveness of the application of the think pair share (TPS) model on the value of students' nahwu lessons. The method used in this research is quantitative with a Quasi Experiment approach. The subjects in this study were students at the Daeussholah boarding school in Bangkalan. The research sample amounted to 25 students. The instrument used by researchers is a written test. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test using SPPS version 22. with the hypothesis H0 = there is no improvement from pre-test to post-test results after treatment, and H1 = there is an improvement from pre-test to post-test results after treatment. The results prove that after being given the treatment, namely the think pair share learning model, the average value of the experimental pos-test is greater (85.28) than the average value of the control class pos-test (77.78), through statistica l calculations it is known that the sig. (2-tailed) of the post-test in the experimental class and control class is smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000. The decision made from these results is H0: there is no significant improvement between the think pair share learning model and the qawaid and touch method in nahwu learning. Because, H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that the think pair share learning model is effective for increasing the value of nahwu lessons for students at Pesantren Darussholah Bangkalan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain: 1) The influence of work motivation on the performance of East Kutai Regency driving teachers, 2) The influence of self-efficacy on the performance of East Kutai Regency driving teachers, 3) The influence of resilience on the performance of East Kutai Regency driving teachers, 4) The influence of work motivation on the resilience of driving teachers in East Kutai Regency, 5) The influence of self-efficacy on the resilience of driving teachers in East Kutai Regency, 6) The indirect influence of work motivation on performance through the resilience of driving teachers in East Kutai Regency, and 7) The indirect influence of self-efficacy on the performance of driving teachers through resilience in East Kutai Regency. Type of quantitative research. The research population was school principals and driving teachers for Classes 5, 7 and 8 in East Kutai Regency. The sampling method used proportional sampling of 20 school principals and 51 teachers. Results Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Work motivation has a direct positive effect on the performance of teachers in East Kutai Regency. 2) Self-efficacy has a direct positive effect on the performance of East Kutai Regency driving teachers. 3) Teacher resilience has a direct positive effect on the performance of teachers in East Kutai Regency. 4) Work motivation has a direct positive effect on the resilience of teachers driving East Kutai Regency. 5) Self-efficacy has a direct positive effect on the resilience of teachers driving East Kutai Regency. 6) There is a significant influence between work motivation and performance through the resilience of driving teachers in East Kutai Regency. 7) There is a significant influence between self-efficacy on the performance of driving teachers through resilience in East Kutai Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze Masterweb-based learning management in an educational context. The main objectives of this research are to: 1) Know the preparation done in Masterweb-based learning management, 2) Examine the integration of Masterweb-based learning management implementation, 3) Evaluate the effectiveness of Masterweb-based learning management, and 4) Assess the impact of the implementation of Masterweb-based learning management on the learning process. Masterweb-based learning management is an innovative approach that utilizes information and communication technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. With the development of technology, the implementation of this system is expected to overcome various challenges in education, including limited resources, accessibility, and student engagement. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The participants in this study were educators, students and administrators involved in the use of Masterweb. The results show that thorough preparation, effective integration, and continuous evaluation are the keys to successful Masterweb-based learning management. In addition, the implementation of Masterweb has a significant positive impact on improving student engagement and learning outcomes. These include increased learning motivation, easier access to learning resources, and more dynamic interaction between students and teachers. This research provides practical recommendations for further development and implementation of Masterweb-based learning management in various educational institutions. Thus, it is expected that Masterweb can be an effective solution in facing learning challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Scientific papers at this time are something that must be mastered by a student. Scientific articles produced by someone contribute new knowledge to the world of Education. This study aims to analyze the obstacles experienced by students when writing scientific articles. The research was conducted on biology education students at the Open University who are in their final semester and take scientific work courses as one of the graduation requirements. There were at least 13 students who were the research samples taken purposively. To obtain data, the researcher provided a questionnaire and conducted interviews with a sample of students. The data were then analyzed descriptively and resulted in the discovery that the main barriers of biology education students in writing scientific papers are lack of student experience in writing scientific papers especially in the components of scientific papers. They found it difficult when creating an introduction (54%), method (46%), and presenting results and discussions (54%). The recommendation from this study is the need to develop learning strategies in scientific work courses that can train students to get used to developing ideas and process these ideas into original articles and free from plagiarism.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an objective overview of the development of interactive media Articulate Storyline in learning short stories in class XI at SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar. This type of research uses Thiagarajan's 4-D development model, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. However, due to time and cost limitations, research is only carried out until the develop stage. The results of the validity of the material showed that the interactive media Articulate Storyline developed obtained 97.7% material validity test results with very valid qualifications. The language validity test received a percentage score of 90.6% with very valid criteria. The validity test of the graphics obtained a percentage value of 93.7% with very valid criteria. The interactive media Articulate Storyline developed is in the practical category with a practicality score of 90% from teachers and 90.1% from students. The interactive media Articulate Storyline in learning short stories developed is quite effective in improving student learning outcomes. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000, smaller than the significance level of 0.05. This means that H0 is rejected or there is a significant difference in the average learning outcomes before and after being given learning treatment using Articulate Storyline interactive media. Furthermore, N-Gain calculations are carried out to determine the magnitude of the increase in learning outcomes in students. The acquisition of an N-Gain score of 0.59 means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes after learning with Articulate Storyline interactive media with a moderate improvement category.

Abstract

This research aims to decipher and explain the characteristics, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of LKPD based on Nusa Penida local wisdom in class X negotiation text. The development model used is a 4-D model but only includes the stages of define, design, and develop. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire and test techniques. The results of the validity test show that the resulting LKPD is classified as very valid in terms of content (material), graphics, and language. Based on the assessment of teachers and students, the LKPD is classified as very practical. The results of the effectiveness test show that the LKPD can improve student learning outcomes. Thus, the LKPD is based on the local wisdom of Nusa Penida on the class X negotiation text material that is valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of applying moral learning to children from an early age because it is hoped that the characters they acquire will become habits that stick with them when they grow up. However, learning methods at PAUD have striking differences compared to other school levels. The implementation of learning in PAUD must be adapted to the stage of development and learning principles that adapt to the characteristics and needs of children. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of moral learning in early childhood at Al-Mardhiyyah Kindergarten Samarinda. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection tools, namely observation, documentation and interviews with the subjects, namely 2 class teachers and the school principal. In implementing moral learning in early childhood at Al-Mardhiyyah Kindergarten Samarinda, careful, mature and systematic planning has been carried out for the success of moral learning among its students. Likewise, the implementation of moral learning activities has been carried out with a consistent and integrated approach in children's daily activities. In this research, it was found that the moral values ​​of honesty, responsibility, politeness, respect, caring and patience have been implemented and integrated in the learning process, in accordance with the learning methods at Al-Mardhiyyah Kindergarten, namely through example, habituation and repetition. which is repetitive. Al-Mardhiyyah Kindergarten also continues to carry out evaluations to ensure that the learning programs implemented are effective in shaping children's moral behavior.
