Abstract

Abstract: The 2013 curriculum directs learning objectives for the formation of competencies in the form of attitudes (affective), skills (psychomotor), and knowledge (cognitive), including in biology learning. This competency is expected to be shown in the classroom in the form of learning achievement and outside the classroom when students answer problems in their environment. The metacognition ability approach is expected to be able to answer deficiencies in the previous learning process that have not led to this goal. This study aims to determine the relationship between metacognition ability and learning achievement in biology at SMA Pesantren Modern At-Taqwa Gunung Putri Bogor which has implemented the 2013 curriculum. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between metacognition abilities and student achievement in learning biology. This is indicated by the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.695, the coefficient of determination of 48.37%. Likewise the t test which gave the results of tcount 5.301> t table 1.697. This means that the increasing of metacognition abilities will also increase student achievement. Abstrak: Kurikulum 2013 mengarahkan tujuan pembelajaran untuk pembentukan kompetensi berupa sikap (afektif), keterampilan (psikomotor), dan pengetahuan (kognitif) termasuk dalam pembelajaran biologi. Kompetensi ini diharapkan terlihat di kelas berupa prestasi belajar dan di luar kelas pada saat siswa menjawab permasalahan di lingkungannya. Pendekatan kemampuan metakognisi diharapkan mampu menjawab kekurangan dalam proses pembelajaran sebelumnya yang belum mengarah pada tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan metakognisi terhadap prestasi belajar biologi di SMA Pesantren Modern At-Taqwa Gunung Putri Bogor yang sudah melaksanakan kurikulum 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kemampuan metakognisi dengan prestasi belajar biologi siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,695, koefisien determinasi sebesar48,37 %. Begitupula uji t yang memberikan hasil thitung 5,301> ttabel 1,697. Artinya semakin meningkat kemampuan metakognisi maka akan meningkat pula prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Learning media has a very important role in the learning process, through the learning media student will be easier to understand the material presented. So also in the science lessons especially material of Structures Plant which during the learning is monotonous. Therefore, Researchers developed a product of learning media in the form Autoplay which is able to present the material in a concrete way for students, the presentation of the material in this learning media accompanied by pictures, animations and videos that make learning media more interesting and motivate for students to learn. The goals of this research development is knowing the product design of learning media based on autoplay, knowing the level of validity and attractiveness of the product of learning media based on autoplay, and knowing the difference understanding of the concept of control class with experiment class that using learning media based on autoplay. The method using in this reserach is research and development with BORG AND GALL model of development. The procedure of development in this research are adapted from development of BORG AND GALL to be four steps they are preliminary step,development step, validation and revision and trying in field step. This research was conducted in SDI Tarbiyah with the subject of the trial as many as 18 students of class IV. Results of the development of this media is the product of media development of this in the form learning media by using a software program Autoplay Studio 8 that the material is accompanied by pictures of related material, video animation using software of flash player associated with learning, and quizzes smart application uses Quiz creator. The validation of development product can be seen from the sheet validation from validator of experts consisting of design experts with a percentage of 95% (very valid), Experts of material/content with a percentage 82% (valid) and teachers of science with 89% (very valid), whereas the level of attractiveness of the media can be seen from the questionnaire students of class IV with a percentage of 93% (very valid). The average acquisition value of last Post-Test was reached 90.56 compared to Pre-Test reached 78.33. DOI: https://doi.org/10.33399/edukasia.v2i1.28

Abstract

The objective of the research is to improve the performance of junior high school science studies teacher (SMP) in implementing the Standard Process as part of National Standards of Education through Mentoring Program MGMP MKKS by applying the model of peer coaching. This research was conducted in Dinas Pendidikan Kab. Kutai Barat involving five junior high schools joined in the activities MGMP MKKS IPA teachers in Kab. Kutai Barat. Implementation of peer coaching held in five SMP: SMP Negeri 1 Bongan, SMP Negeri 2 Jempang, SMP Negeri 2 Muara Pahu, SMP Negeri 4 Sendawar, dan SMP Negeri 1 Sendawar. This research use both quantitative and qualitative approach. The research was conducted by using model of Kemmis & Mc Taggart combined with the peer coaching model developed by Ng Pak Tee. The result of this research are: implementation of peer coaching can improve the performance of teachers in the planning, implementation, and assessment of learning in the learning process, peer coaching program will increase the quality of education and learning become more meaningful for students. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dengan menggunakan dua variabel dalam penelitian ini ada dua variabel, yaitu variabel bebas (independent) dan variabel terikat (dependent). Tempat yang dipilih oleh peneliti untuk melaksanakan penelitian ini adalah MI Islamiyah Ngarum yang beralamatkan di desa Ngarum Kec. Sekaran, Kab. Lamongan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas IV MI Islamiyah Ngarum. Menurut data dari hasil observasi, diketahui bahwa jumlah peserta didik kelas IV MI Islamiyah Ngarum sebanyak 20 Peserta didik. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan observasi, tes serta dokumentasi dalam teknik pengumpulan data. Alat ukur atau instrumen yang baik harus memenuhi dua syarat yaitu validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa media video sangat efektif dalam peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil analisis dependent sample t-test yang telah dilakukan. Dari analisis tersebut didapat t_hitung sebesar -6,254 sedangkan t_tabel sebesar 2,09302, karena t_hitung>t_tabel (nilai minus diabaikan). Maka dari itu H_0 ditolak sedangkan H_a diterima dan kesimpulannya adalah media video model efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to discover the effectiveness of learning mathematics online using Microsoft Office 365 in Linear Program. This research is pre-experiment with One Group Pretest –Postest Design. The populations iof this research were all of slass XI students at SMA N 1 Geger. The experiment unit of this research was class XI consisted of 10 classes. The sample of this research was class XI Science 6. The data of the research were collected by using instruments which covered: 1) The students’ Mathematics learning test, 2) the students’ activity observation sheet, 3) learning implementation observation sheet, and 4) the students’ response questionnaire. The results of the research reveal that Mathematics learning online using Microsoft Office 365 on Linear Program is effective to improve learning result of class XI students at SMAN 1 Geger, proved by: 1) The average of Mathematics learning result of class XI students at SMAN 1 Geger is greter than 70, 2) The questionnaire obtained students positive response about the CTL learning, with 84% of the responses categorized as good, 3) The observation student activity obtained students tend to be more active.

Abstract

Abstract: Independent learning is needed by students so that they can achieve achievement in their studies. However, many students know that students have carried out academic procrastination, behavior-procrastination, or complete academic tasks. Academic procrastination is caused by the lack of optimal student learning in independent learning. Therefore, research on optimizing self-regulated learning for reading student academic procrastination is very relevant to do. Research with this mixed-method has found that students have had the opportunity to learn to help things inside and outside themselves using self-regulated learning strategies by analyzing, managing, implementing, monitoring, regulating, and metacognition. The results of calculations using SPSS show a significant average difference between before the self-regulated learning treatment is carried out and after learning, which means that self-regulated learning refers to the student's academic procrastination being declared effective. Abstrak: Self-regulated learning sangat dibutuhkan mahasiswa agar mereka mampu mencapai pretasi dalam belajanya. Namun banyak mahasiswa secara sadar mahasiswa telah melakukan prokrastinasi akademik yakni suatu perilaku menunda-nunda mengerjakan ataupun menyelesaikan tugas-tugas akademik. Prokrastinasi akademik ini disebabkan karena kurang optimalnya mahasiswa dalam self-regulated learning. Oleh karena itu penelitian tentang optimalisasi self-regulated learning untuk memodifikasi prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa sangat relevan untuk dilakukan. Penelitian dengan mixed methods ini telah menemukan bahwa mahasiswa telah mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar mengatur hal-hal dalam diri dan di luar dirinya yang menggunakan strategi self-regulated learning dengan cara menganalis, merencanakan, mengimplementasi, memonitoring, memodifikasi dan metakognisi. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan SPSS terdapat perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara sebelum dilakukan perlakuan self-regulated learning dan sesudah dilakukannya perlakuan self-regulated learning yang berarti pelaksanaan perlakuan self-regulated learning tersebut untuk memodifikasi prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dinyatakan efektif DOI: https://doi.org/10.33399/edukasia.v2i1.33

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the decline in the value of moral education in the world of Indonesian education. One of the writers who includes the value of moral education in literary works is Dewi Helsper through her novel entitled Simbok. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method. The results of the analysis show that: (1) the value of moral education contained in the novel Simbok has 3 aspects, namely the human relationship with himself, human relations with other humans in the social and natural environment, man’s relationship with God includes the value of taking refuge in God, surrending to God, and the love of God and all of his creation. (2) the novel Simbok by Dewi Helsper has relevance to learning Indonesian in high school because it uses language that is essay to understand, gives good messages (moral) to students, the analysis of the novel Simbok can fulfill literary learning in accordance with the basic competencies (KD) in the 2013 curriculum. Abstrak: Permasalahan nilai pendidikan moral yang semakin menurun dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia perlu perhatian yang serius. Salah satu sastrawan yang memasukkan nilai pendidikan moral dalam karya sastra adalah Dewi Helsper melalui novelnya yang berjudul Simbok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) nilai pendidikan moral yang terkandung dalam novel Simbok terdapat 3 aspek, yakni hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dalam lingkup sosial dan alam sekitar, hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan mencakup nilai berlindung kepada Tuhan, berserah diri kepada Tuhan, serta cinta Tuhan dan segenap ciptaan-Nya. (2) novel Simbok karya Dewi Helsper berelevansi terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA karena menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami, memberikan pesan baik (moral) bagi peserta didik, analisis novel Simbok dapat memenuhi pembelajaran sastra sesuai dengan Kompetensi Dasar (KD) dalam Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract: Allah says in QS. Al Alaq verse 1, which contains the command to read. One of our nation's generation's ongoing problems is reading, so that the current number of literacy movements aims to arouse students' willingness and readability as a generation who likes to read. The obligation to read as the spirit of education will open broader horizons. Reading books as a punishment in madrasas is considered very appropriate compared to corporal punishment because it will directly impact science and practice reading needs. All subjects can be integrated with the concept of literacy. Integrating literacy with various kinds of subjects is the management contained in Surah Al Alaq verse 1. Also, libraries as reading houses and literacy houses, must play a full role in running literacy madrasas. Thus we can explain that this verse is comprehensive in integrating various aspects to improve the quality of students and make madrasas integrated literacy machines. Abstrak: Allah berfirman dalam QS. Al Alaq ayat 1, yang isinya perintah untuk membaca. Problem yang berkelanjutan generasi bangsa salah satunya adalah membaca , sehingga banyaknya gerakan literasi sekarang ini bertujuan untuk menggugah kemauan dan kemampuan baca peserta didik sebagai generasi gemar baca. Kewajiban membaca sebagai ruh pendidikan akan membuka cakrawala pandangan yang lebih luas. Membaca buku sebagai hukuman di madrasah dirasa sangat tepat di bandingkan hukuman fisik karena akan berdampak langsung pada keilmuan dan berlatih kebutuhan membaca. Semua mata pelajaran bisa di integrasikan dengan konsep literasi. Mengintegrasikan literasi dengan berbagai macam mata pelajaran merupakan manajemen yang terkandung dalam suratAl Alaq ayat 1. Selain itu perpustakaan sebagai rumah baca dan rumah literasi harus berperan penuh dalam menjalankan madrasah literasi. Dengan demikian bisa dijelaskan bahwa ayat ini sangatlah luas dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai aspek untuk memperbaiki kualitas peserta didik serta menjadikan madrasah sebagai mesin literasi yang terintegrasi. Abstract

Abstract: The article aims to describe the efforts of teachers and students to practice good citizenship in the learning process, the paradigm process of citizenship demand, civic responsibility, and citizen participation in PPKn learning. The study used a qualitative design with classroom action research methods. The process filling in data at Kemmis and Taggart, namely Plan, Act & Observe, and Reflect, and data analysis techniques using Miles and Hubberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, levers. The result showed that students in applying the deep dialogue/critical thinking model showed students’ abilities it the aspects of intelligence, responsibility, honesty, and good citizenship. Through this application students can form representations in the completion of contemporary discussion themes that are able to create, have or show imagination and artistic or intellectual inventiveness (creative writing), and stimulate imagination and inventive power. And the implementation of Deep Dialogue/Critical Thinking in students of SMAN 1 Karawang can build an active group discource and also find the concept of cooperative learning which stimulates the effectiveness of classroom learning as a form of character education in youth creation with critical and democratic (community participation). Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan guru dan peserta didik dalam mempraktikan karakteristik warga Negara yang baik dalam proses pembelajaran, sebagaimana paradigma pembentukan civic intelligence, civic responsibility, dan civic participation pada pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian kualitatif metode classroom action research ini, pengumpulan datanya merujuk pada Kemmis dan Taggart yaitu Plan, Act & Observe, dan Reflect serta analisis data menggunakan Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peserta didik dalam menerapkan model deep dialogue/critical thinking menunjukkan kemampuan siswa pada aspek intelligence, responsibility, honestly dan good citizenship. Melalui penerapan tersebut siswa dapat membentuk representasi dalam penyelesaian tema diskusi kekinian. Implementasi Deep Dialogue/Critical Thinking pada siswa di SMAN di Karawang dapat membangun diskursus kelompok yang bersifat aktif serta ditemukan juga konsep cooperative learning yang merangsang keefektifan pembelajaran dalam kelas sebagai wujud pendidikan karakter pada generasi muda dengan (civic participation) yang kritis dan demokratis. Abstract

Abstract: This study explains that implementing the curriculum implementation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Salafiyah Pondok Tremas Pacitan when dismissed, is a qualitative case study- collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. According to Huberman, there are three data analysis kinds: data reduction and data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study results found that: (1) The curriculum at MTs Salafiyah Pondok Tremas Pacitan is a combination of the curriculum from the Ministry of Religion (K 13). Drying Ministry of Religion Using K-13 Drying. (2) The learning time has decreased; two lessons become 1 lesson hour. In the 3rd island class, an additional preparation hour for the final national exam is needed to improve the available material. (3) Implications of cured at MTs Salafiyah Pondok Tremas Pacitan, namely supporting the development of religious scholarship that is not behind in general science. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermaksud menjelaskan implementasi kurikulum di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Salafiyah Pondok Tremas Pacitan dengan pendekatan adalah kualitatif denganjenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman terdapat tiga macam cara yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: (1) Kurikulum di MTs Salafiyah Pondok Tremas Pacitan adalah gabungan kurikulum Kementerian Agama (K 13) dan kurikulum pesantren. Kurikulum Kementerian Agama menggunakan kurikulum K-13. (2) Waktu belajar secara umum mengalami pengurangan jam pelajaran, 2 pelajaran menjadi 1 jam pelajaran. Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi umum, pada kelas 3 ada tambahan jam persiapan untuk ujian akhir dan nasional. (3) Implikasi kurikulum di MTs Salafiyah Pondok Tremas Pacitan yaitu mendukung pengembangan keilmuan agama tetapi tidak ketinggalan dalam ilmu umum. DOI: https://doi.org/10.33399/edukasia.v2i1.37
