Abstract

The research is motivated by the phenomenon of code mixing in the iconic interview compilation, the case of "Mayat dalam Gentong", which went viral again on the for your page of the TikTok account @c45sat on August 24, 2024, which was watched 8.1 million times. This article will describe the form, shape and factors that influence the process of code mixing in the interview compilation. The research uses a descriptive method, with documentation techniques and interactive analysis. The results of this study found that the form of code mixing into, includes insertions dominated by 21 Sundanese words, and 3 Sundanese phrases were found to be inserted. Then, the form of code mixing, there are 20 sentences containing elements of code mixing with a total of 24 linguistic elements consisting of Sundanese words and phrases inserted into Indonesian. Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan bentuk, wujud dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses terjadinya campur kode dalam kompilasi wawancara tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan teknik dokumentasi dan analisis interaktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bentuk campur kode ke dalam, meliputi penyisipan yang didominasi dengan 21 kata bahasa Sunda, serta ditemukan 3 frasa bahasa Sunda yang disisipkan. Kemudian, wujud campur kode, terdapat 20 kalimat yang mengandung unsur campur kode dengan total 24 unsur kebahasaan yang terdiri dari kata dan frasa bahasa Sunda yang disisipkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Terakhir bahasa Sunda sebagai bahasa ibu merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh.Katakunci: campur kode, ikonik; wawancara

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of digital literacy of students using Canva in preparing Indonesian learning materials. The research used a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method, involving respondents from students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. The results showed that the overall level of digital literacy of students was classified as moderate with an average score of 68.5/100. In the aspect of technical ability, 65% of students were at an intermediate level, but only 10% mastered Canva's advanced features. In design creativity, 45% of students showed moderate ability, while 30% were in the high category. As many as 75% of students were able to adapt the design to learning needs, although only 20% showed in-depth mastery. In addition, 70% of students found Canva helpful in creating interesting and easy-to-understand materials. These results make a significant contribution to the development of technology-based education curriculum for higher education. This study recommends project-based digital literacy training, as well as faculty and student collaboration to improve digital literacy. Future research should expand the sample, use mixed-methods for more in-depth analysis, and explore other dimensions of digital literacy.Keywords: Canva; digital literacy; media; learning technologyAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengukur tingkat literasi digital mahasiswa menggunakan Canva dalam menyusun materi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei deskriptif, dengan melibatkan responden dari mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat literasi digital mahasiswa secara keseluruhan tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata skor 68,5/100. Pada aspek kemampuan teknis, 65% mahasiswa berada pada tingkat menengah, namun hanya 10% yang menguasai fitur lanjutan Canva. Dalam kreativitas desain, 45% mahasiswa menunjukkan kemampuan sedang, sementara 30% berada pada kategori tinggi. Sebanyak 75% mahasiswa mampu menyesuaikan desain dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran, meskipun hanya 20% yang menunjukkan penguasaan mendalam. Selain itu, 70% mahasiswa merasa Canva membantu menciptakan materi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan literasi digital berbasis proyek, serta kolaborasi dosen dan mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan literasi digital. Untuk penelitian ke depan disarankan memperluas sampel, menggunakan metode mixed-methods untuk analisis yang lebih mendalam, serta mengeksplorasi dimensi literasi digital lainnya.Katakunci: Canva; literasi digital; media; teknologi pembelajaran

Abstract

This article will describe the results of the study of the novel "Teka-Teki Rumah Aneh". The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, using a structural approach to literature study techniques. The data sources used include primary and secondary data sources with reading and note-taking data collection techniques. The theory used is forensic psychology theory supported by intertextual, social, and personality theories. The results of the study indicate that there is a narrative that can predict perpetrators of crimes, find evidence of crimes, and the motives or reasons for perpetrators to commit crimes. Research that analyzes the relationship between literature and forensic psychology is still very limited, so this can be an interesting study for further research..Keywords: forensics; novel; mystery; psychology; puzzle Abstrak Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan hasil kajian atas novel “Teka-Teki Rumah Aneh”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan pendekatan struktural teknik studi pustaka. Sumber data yang digunakan mencakup sumber data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data baca-catat.  Teori yang digunakan berupa teori psikologi forensik yang didukung teori intertekstual, sosial, dan kepribadian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat narasi yang dapat memprediksi pelaku kejahatan, menemukan bukti-bukti kejahatan, serta motif atau alasan pelaku melakukan tindak kejahatan. Abstract

This article to describe the utilization of MiMind application in improving the learning outcomes of writing ode poetry in class XI students of MAN 1 Cianjur. The research method used was an experiment with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, The results showed a significant improvement in the ability to write ode poetry after using MiMind application, especially in the aspects of theme, diction and imagery. Abstract

This article explores the representation of human and environmental relationships in Okky Madasari's novel “Mata dan Manusia Laut” using Greg Garrard's ecocritical approach. This theoretical framework has six main aspects: pollution, wilderness, disaster, settlement, animals, and the earth. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach. The data comes from direct quotations in the text that represent environmental issues. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo software. The results of data analysis show that this novel voices criticism of the damage to marine and coastal ecology due to human activities, as well as the importance of ecological awareness through the main character, Mata, and her interactions with nature and the Bajo tribe. The novel not only conveys a moral message about environmental conservation but also raises the social inequality experienced by indigenous coastal communities facing modernization and exploitation. The most dominant aspect is pollution, with a coverage of 14.68%, indicating the high representation of environmental damage due to waste, marine pollution, and unsustainable human activities in the novel's narrative. The contribution of the research provides input to the government to make rules on environmental conservation that are pro-coastal people. Future research is the curriculum content of literature teaching materials on environmental themes. Keywords: ecocriticism; Greg Garrard; environment; humans and nature Abstrak Artikel ini mengeksplorasi representasi hubungan manusia dan lingkungan dalam novel “Mata dan Manusia Laut” karya Okky Madasari dengan pendekatan ekokritik Greg Garrard. Kerangka teori ini, terdapat enam aspek utama, yaitu: polusi, hutan belantara, bencana, pemukiman, binatang, dan bumi. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Data bersumber dari kutipan-kutipan langsung dalam teks yang merepresentasikan isu-isu lingkungan. Analisis data menggunakan software nvivo. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa novel ini menyuarakan kritik terhadap kerusakan ekologi laut dan pesisir akibat ulah manusia, serta pentingnya kesadaran ekologis melalui tokoh utama, Mata, dan interaksinya dengan alam serta masyarakat suku Bajo. Novel ini tidak hanya menyampaikan pesan moral tentang pelestarian lingkungan, tetapi mengangkat ketimpangan sosial yang dialami masyarakat adat pesisir menghadapi modernisasi dan eksploitasi. Aspek yang paling dominan adalah polusi, dengan cakupan sebesar 14,68% yang menandakan tingginya representasi kerusakan lingkungan akibat limbah, pencemaran laut, dan aktivitas manusia yang tidak berkelanjutan dalam narasi novel. Kontribusi penelitian memberikan masukan kepada pemerintah untuk membuat aturan tentang pelestarian lingkungan yang pro pada rakyat pesisir. Abstract

This article aims to examine the implementation of reading corners in elementary schools and their impact on increasing literacy skills. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing twelve relevant scientific articles published in the last five years. The review process was conducted thru five stages: problem identification, setting inclusion and exclusion criteria, searching for articles using the keywords "reading corner," "reading corner," and "elementary literacy," data extraction, and thematic analysis. The study results show that reading corners have a significant positive impact on the cognitive, affective, and social aspects of students. The improvement in text comprehension skills, the growth of reading motivation, and the creation of a literacy culture in the school environment are the main benefits of an optimally managed reading corner. In addition, the role of teachers as literacy facilitators has proven to be very important in directing the effectiveness of the reading corner. Thus, the reading corner is not just a decorative element in the classroom, but a literacy strategy with great potential to cultivate a love for reading and improve the overall quality of primary education. Keywords: literacy; reading interest; students; reading corner, Abstrak Artikel ini akan mengkaji implementasi reading corner (reading corner) di sekolah dasar serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis dua belas artikel ilmiah yang relevan dan dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Proses kajian dilakukan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu identifikasi masalah, penetapan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, pencarian artikel menggunakan kata kunci “reading corner”, “reading corner”, dan “elementary literacy”, ekstraksi data, serta analisis tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa reading corner memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan sosial peserta didik. Peningkatan kemampuan memahami teks, tumbuhnya motivasi membaca, serta terciptanya budaya literasi di lingkungan sekolah menjadi manfaat utama dari reading corner yang dikelola secara optimal. Selain itu, peran guru sebagai fasilitator literasi terbukti sangat penting dalam mengarahkan efektivitas reading corner. Dengan demikian, reading corner bukan sekadar elemen dekoratif dalam kelas, melainkan strategi literasi yang memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter gemar membaca dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dasar secara menyeluruh. Abstract

This article describe the form and function of rhetorical language in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap by Bene Dion Rajagukguk. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, using a pragmatic approach. The data collection technique in this research uses the Content Analysis method or often known as Content Analysis. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubberman technique which consists of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the analysis carried out, researchers found 5 types of rhetorical language including: (1) getting agreement on 5 data; (2) hedge 3 data; (3) some questions 5 data; (4) ending question 2 data; and (5) talk to yourself 2 data. Researchers also found 4 functions of rhetorical language including: (1) satirical function 7 data; (2) 1 data advisory function; (3) 4 data support function; and 1 data introspection function. Keywords: film; pragmatics; rhetorical Abstrak Artikel ini mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi bahasa retoris dalam film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap karya Bene Dion Rajagukguk. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Conten Analysis atau sering dikenal dengan Analisis Isi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Miles dan Hubberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, peneliti menemukan 5 jenis bahasa retoris tersebut meliputi : (1) mendapatkan kesepakatan 5 data; (2) lindung nilai 3 data; (3) beberapa pertanyaan 5 data; (4) mengakhiri pertanyaan 2 data; dan (5) bicara sendiri 2 data. Peneliti juga menemukan 4 fungsi bahasa retoris meliputi: (1) fungsi sindiran 7 data; (2) fungsi nasehat 1 data; (3) fungsi dukungan 4 data; dan fungsi introspeksi 1 data. Abstract

Writing skills play an important role in supporting academic and professional communication, especially in the technology-dominated digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach to analyse students' ability to structure paragraphs, discover their strengths and weaknesses, and explore the influence of digital technology in learning to write. The findings show that students face challenges in constructing topic sentences, developing ideas, and stringing together relevant supporting sentences. Digital media, such as social media and blended learning, help them understand different types of writing, but the quality of the paragraphs produced has not met academic standards. The use of digital technologies, including platforms such as Facebook, improved students' motivation and writing performance and helped distinguish between informal and formal writing. The blended technology-based learning approach is effective in gradually improving writing skills, although further strategies are needed to ensure the quality of writing meets academic standards in the digital era. This research makes a novel contribution by presenting an innovative approach that leverages specific digital platforms, such as Facebook, supplemented with metadata to analyse its impact on the development of academic writing skills. Keywords: paragraph writing skills; learning; technology Abstrak Keterampilan menulis memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung komunikasi akademik dan profesional, terutama di era digital yang didominasi teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun paragraf, menemukan kelebihan dan kelemahan mereka, serta mengeksplorasi pengaruh teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran menulis. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan dalam menyusun kalimat topik, mengembangkan ide, dan merangkai kalimat pendukung yang relevan. Media digital, seperti media sosial dan pembelajaran campuran, membantu mereka memahami berbagai jenis tulisan, tetapi kualitas paragraf yang dihasilkan belum memenuhi standar akademik. Penggunaan teknologi digital, termasuk platform seperti Facebook, meningkatkan motivasi dan performa menulis mahasiswa serta membantu membedakan tulisan informal dan formal. Pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi campuran efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis secara bertahap, meskipun diperlukan strategi lebih lanjut untuk memastikan kualitas tulisan memenuhi standar akademik di era digital. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baru dengan menghadirkan pendekatan inovatif yang memanfaatkan platform digital tertentu, seperti Facebook, yang dilengkapi dengan metadata untuk menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pengembangan keterampilan menulis akademik.
