Abstract

T The purpose of this study is to examine the strategies and challenges faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling Islamic values in children with special needs. This study employs a qualitative method using a grounded theory approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study was conducted through the grounded theory stages, which include open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results of the study indicate that teachers’ pedagogical experiences are implemented through adaptive and inclusive strategies, such as storytelling and modeling, daily religious practices, personalized educational communication, peer tutoring, classroom management, and assessments tailored to students’ abilities. However, several challenges exist, including limited teacher training, diverse student characteristics, and constraints regarding time and supporting facilities.

Abstract

This study examines morphopragmatic interference arising from the interaction of the Nias language, Indonesian, and slang among students at SMP Negeri 1 Lahewa. It focuses on identifying patterns of morphological and pragmatic interference and applies a Deep Learning approach to map linguistic features in students’ language use. A descriptive qualitative method was employed. Data were collected from students’ spoken utterances and written texts derived from school assignments and communication media. The data were manually labeled to identify morphological and pragmatic elements, then analyzed using Deep Learning models to detect patterns of language interference. The findings reveal multiple forms of interference. Morphological interference appears in the use of Nias affixes within Indonesian and slang vocabulary, while pragmatic interference is reflected in shifts in speech functions influenced by students’ sociocultural backgrounds. The study concludes that such interference represents students’ social identities and highlights the need for pedagogical attention in Indonesian language instruction.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating the autonomous learner model with the cooperative learning model of the jigsaw type in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SDI Bonerate No. 85 Kepulauan Selayar. The focus of this research is to determine the extent to which the combined implementation of both models enhances students’ learning outcomes. This study employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest approach, involving 38 students as participants. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The results indicate an improvement in the average scores for the autonomous learner model from 38.09 to 52.38, with an N-gain of 0.23 (low category), while the jigsaw model increased from 52.35 to 67.64, with an N-gain of 0.32 (moderate category). The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of < 0.05. Observational findings also revealed increased student independence and collaboration, rising from 41% to 83% and from 69% to 87%, respectively. Thus, the combined models are effective, although the absence of a control group limits the generalizability of the findings.

Abstract

Local wisdom in the architecture of Malige reflects the intuitive understanding of the Buton people regarding principles of physics, making it compelling to study in the context of physics education. This study aims to identify the physics principles in the Malige Traditional House in Bau-Bau through an ethnophysics approach. The method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results reveal the application of rigid body equilibrium and force distribution concepts in nail-less wooden joints, fluid mechanics in the natural ventilation system, and force equilibrium on the inclined plane of the stairs. The study concludes that this local wisdom aligns with modern physics theory and holds potential as a source for meaningful contextual physics learning.

Abstract

Early childhood socio-emotional behavior plays a crucial role in children's overall development. This study aims to describe the process of controlling socio-emotional behavior in early childhood and the forms of collaboration between teachers and parents at TKK Bunda Pengantara Rahmat Ngedukelu. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the management of children's socio-emotional behavior is carried out through synergistic collaboration between teachers who apply cognitive functions (emotional literacy) and parents who apply affective functions (emotional reassurance and affection). This collaboration is realized through routine communication during school drop-off and pick-up, the alignment of rules between school and home to prevent value confusion, and periodic meetings as a structured monitoring system. These interventions have proven effective in transforming children's negative behaviors into positive socio-emotional competencies. This study contributes practical strategies for school-family collaboration in early childhood education, while also raising awareness of the vital role of parents as children's primary emotional support figures.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the influence of parenting patterns on malnutrition in children, specifically to identify and address factors that can cause malnutrition problems in children. Proper parenting is very important to ensure that children receive adequate nutrition and grow optimally. The urgency of this research is very high because parenting is a dominant factor affecting children's nutritional status, even more than just economic factors. This study uses a quantitative method, an approach conducted by the researcher using numbers and formulas, so data collection in this study includes observation, pre-test, post-test, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that in the Kisanata sub-district, there are children experiencing stunted growth compared to children of the same age. According to growth observations, the development experienced by the children is very slow, with weight not meeting the standards and several other problems.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and types of vocabulary in the Guyang Cekathak tradition and its relevance in teaching Indonesian to foreign speakers (BIPA). This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive ethnographic method. The research was conducted in Colo Village, Dawe District, Kudus Regency, Central Java, with three informants consisting of religious leaders, village officials, and caretakers. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, vocabulary classification based on morphological form, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the vocabulary forms in this tradition included basic vocabulary, affixed vocabulary, compound words, and repeated words, with a predominance of basic vocabulary. Based on their function, the vocabulary was classified into six types, namely religious, social, objects, rituals and processions, sacred figures and places, and conceptual or descriptive. The vocabulary in the Guyang Cekathak tradition has the potential to be used as teaching material for Indonesian as a foreign language based on local culture because it helps foreign learners understand the Indonesian language as well as the culture of the local community.
