Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) The application of BDR at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono,2) The obstacles in the implementation of BDR at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono,3) Strategic efforts in overcoming obstacles to BDR at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. The validity of the data was obtained by triangulation of techniques and sources. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model. The research procedure are as follows: 1) Problem identification,2) Research focus determination,3) Data collection,4) Data analysis, and 5) Research results reporting. The results of the study show that: 1) The BDR process at SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono includes: a) planning begins with the provision of workshops and the preparation of learning administration,b) Implementation using WhatsApp Group, Google Meet, and Google Classroom media, c)Monitoring is carried out through Google Classroom and Office 365 media, d)Evaluation activities are carried out during the morning apple activity.2) The Implementation of BDR has obstacles including: a) Students do not have internet quotas and unstable networks,b) Students find it difficult to concentrate,c) Limited use of learning media and 3) Strategic efforts in dealing with obstacles include: a) Providing assistance quotas and allowances for students,b) Handling of Guidance and Counseling Teachers, c)Provision of Training and Socialization.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi strategi public relations yang dilaksanakan oleh humas Museum Keris Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Museum Keris Surakarta  dan UPT Museum Surakarta. Data diperoleh dari informan, dokumen dan peristiwa dengan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Validitas data diperoleh dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi strategi public relations di Museum Keris meliputi: 1) Pencarian Masalah, 2) Perencanaan Strategi, 3) Tindakan dan Komunikasi dengan menggunakan a) Strategi Operasional, b) Pendekatan Persuasif dan Edukatif, c) Pendekatan Kerja Sama, 4) Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Strategi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen, hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen, dan solusi dalam mengatasi hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan bola salju (Snowball Sampling). Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen di Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana Kota Surakarta sebagai berikut: (a) pelaksanaan fungsi perencanaan terdiri dari perencanaan jangka panjang dan menengah serta perencanaan jangka pendek yang disusun oleh kepala dinas dan pegawai, (b) pelaksanaan fungsi pengorganisasian melalui adanya struktur organisasi dan tugas pokok pegawai, (c) pelaksanaan fungsi pengarahan melalui program arahan kerja dan motivasi setiap apel pagi, (d) bentuk fungsi pengawasan berupa presensi pegawai serta monitoring dan evaluasi. 2) Hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen sebagai berikut: (a) kurangnya koordinasi antar pegawai, (b) fasilitas penunjang pekerjaan kantor yang terbatas, (c) pegawai kurang memahami tugas dan prosedur kerja, (d) kurangnya motivasi kerja pegawai. 3) Beberapa upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan yaitu: (a) meningkatkan koordinasi antar pegawai melalui kegiatan informal, (b) menambah fasilitas penunjang pekerjaan kantor, (c) mensosialisasikan tugas pokok tertulis kepada pegawai, (d) memberikan pengarahan yang jelas kepada pegawai.

Abstract

This type of research is qualitative research, using an exploratory approach. The sampling techniques used are random sampling and purposive sampling. The data collected in this study was obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data obtained the process of triangulation techniques and triangulation of sources. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model. Implementations is adjustment curriculum and using an e-learning system. 2 Civilized, its application to character, manners and culture that students are in accordance with Indonesian culture. The application is using uniforms as FKIP rules and X-Banners etiquette of contacting lecturers. 3 Professional, the application to PAP students who can work professionally with KKN and study program internships, besides that there are soft skills professionals with the HIMADISTRA (Association of PAP Student). Third, the obstacles in implementing the PAP Proceedings slogan include the socialization of the PAP Proceedings which has not been optimal and the lack of common perception among the PAP academics regarding the meaning of the PAP Proceedings slogans. Fourth, the proposed solution is to hold a special socialization for the PAP Processing Slogan and improve coordination between elements so as to create a common perception of PAP Processing

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumen dengan purposive snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Validitas data diperoleh dengan 4 cara yaitu credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data model interaktif. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan 4 tahap yaitu: tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, analisis, dan penulisan laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pelaksanaan pembagian kerja pegawai pada Bagian Pengolahan Data dan Informasi di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Surakarta sebagai berikut: a) analisis jabatan yang meliputi deskripsi jabatan dan spesifikasi jabatan, b) keputusan pembagian kerja, c) pelaksanaan tugas oleh karyawan, d) pengawasan pelaksanaan pembagian kerja, dan e) penilaian kinerja karyawan 2) hambatan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan pembagian kerja pegawai pada Bagian Pengolahan Data dan Informasi diantaranya: a) double job, dan b) ketidaksesuaian posisi kerja 3) upaya yang ditempuh dalam mengatasi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembagian kerja pegawai pada Bagian Pengolahan Data dan Informasi  antara lain: a) job sharing dan b) karyawan belajar otodidak.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh gaya mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Batik 1 Surakarta; 2) pengaruh perhatian orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Batik 1 Surakarta; dan 3) pengaruh gaya mengajar guru dan perhatian orang tua secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMK Batik 1 Surakarta.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X program keahlian Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran di SMK Batik 1 yang berjumlah 82 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan rumus Bungin dengan teknik random sampling sejumlah 68 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya mengajar guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan thitung>ttabel (2,30 > 1,99); 2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan perhatian orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan thitung>ttabel (4,32 > 1,99); 3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan gaya mengajar guru dan perhatian orang tua secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan Fhitung > Ftabel (30,57 > 3,14). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sumbangan efektif secara bersama-sama sebesar 48,50% dan sisanya sebesar 51,50% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

The research aims at revealing whether: (1) The effect of giving compensation on job satisfaction at PT. Graha Informatika Jakarta; (2) The effect of work motivationi on job satisfaction at PT. Graha Informatika Jakarta; (3) Thei effect of giving compensation and work motivation simultaneously on job satisfaction at PT. Graha Informatika Jakarta.  This type of Quantitative descriptive research with descriptive survey method. Information presented in the study is the result of questioner that has been filled out by the employees of PT. Graha Informatika Jakarta. The research used purposive sampling technique, with a sample 68 respondents. The results showed that; (1) There is an effect of giving compensation on job satisfaction with the result of t test 3,174 > 1,973. (2) There is an effect of work motivation on job satisfaction with the result of t test 2,676 > 1,973. (3) There is an effect of giving compensation and work motivation simultaneously on job satisfaction with the result of F test 27,359 > 3,14.  The conclusion of the multiple linear regression analysis above show that 45% of job satisfaction is influenced by compensation and work motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know about DiscoveryLearning Model can increase learning activeness and achievement in “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject in the 10th AP (Administrasi Perkantoran) 3 grade of SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta in theschool year of 2014/2015. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) that was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of 4 stages: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing and interpreting, and (4) analyzing and reflecting. In those 4 stages, the teacher involve “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject and the 10 th AP 3 graders consisting of 32 students. Based on research that have beendone, it could be concluded that the application of Discovery Learning model to “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject could improve the students‟ learning activeness and learning achievement in the 10th AP 3 grade of SMK Negeri 6 of Surakarta in the school year of 2014/2015. It can be seen from the students‟learning activeness and learning achievement improving continuously in cycle I and cycle II compare to pre-cycle stages. In pre-cycle, the students‟ activeness was 52,73% in visual activities, 48,44% in oral activities, 50,00% in writing activities, 50,78% in learning activities and 53,91% in mental activities aspect. Meanwhilethe learning achievement consisting of 3 domains could be elaborated as follows: (1) cognitive domain reached the mean class score of 71,69, (2) affective domain reached 50%, and (3) psychomotor reached 81,25%. In cycle I, the students‟ activeness improved to 63,67% in visual activities, 69,14% in oral activities, 75,00% in writing activities, 70,31% in listening activities, and 53,91% inmental activities. In addition to activeness, the students‟ learning achievement consisting of 3 domains also improved. The mean class reached 75,25 for cognitive, 65,63% for affective, and 84,38% for psychomotor domains. Then, in cycle II, the students‟ activeness and learning achievement also improved. The first improvement was that of activeness in visual activities of 85,55%, oral activities of 80,86%, writing activities of 82,03%, listening activities of 82,42%, and mental activities of 83,59%. The second improvement was that of learning achievement consisting of 3 domains (1) cognitive domain with the mean class score of 82,69, (2) affective domain reached 100%, and (3) psychomotor domain reached 96,88%. From the result of research, it could be concluded that the application of Discovery Learning model to “Pengantar Administrasi Perkantoran” subject could improve the students‟ activeness and learning achievement in  the 10th AP 3 grade of SMK Negeri 6 of Surakarta in the school year of 2014/2015.

Abstract

Abstract This study aim to determine the performance of employees, the obstacles faced by employees and efforts to improve the performance of employees at the Regional Personnel, Education, and Training Agency of Surakarta City. The research is a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The data used are primary and secondary data. Sources of data come from informants, places/events, and documents. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling  techniques and snowball sampling. Data validation was carried out by: (1)Credibility, (2)Transferability, (3)Dependability, and (4)Confirmability. The data analysis technique was carried out by: (1)Data collection; (2)Data Reduction; (3)Presentation of Data; (4)Drawing conclusions. The research procedures adopted by researchers included: (1)Proposal and Licensing Preparation Stage; (2)Data Collection Stage; (3)Initial Data Analysis Phase; (4)Final Data Analysis Phase; (5)Report Writing Stage and Report Reproduction. The results shows (1)Service orientation; (2)Commitment; (3)Work Initiatives; (4)Cooperation; (5)Leadership. Barriers to employee performance include: (a) Time Management; (b) Limited Human Resources; (c) Infrastructure; (d) Educational Background. Efforts have made to improve employee performance, among others, prioritizing more important work, to support and assistance between employees, providing training to improve employee competencies, and maintaining and improving available infrastructure. Keywords        : performance, employees, performance assessment, work behavior
