Abstract

This study discusses the development of an Islamic education planning system based on the needs and characteristics of learners through a literature review approach. Educational planning in Islamic institutions often focuses more on administrative aspects than on understanding students’ diverse potentials, interests, and learning styles. This research aims to analyze strategies for developing adaptive educational planning in Islamic education. The study uses a literature review method by examining journals, books, and relevant academic sources. The results show that effective educational planning requires learner needs analysis, curriculum flexibility, data-based planning, integration of Islamic values, and continuous evaluation. Such a system contributes to improving learning effectiveness, student participation, and holistic educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges of utilizing Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) in the learning digitization program in Banjar Regency. The study employs a quantitative descriptive approach using secondary data analysis sourced from the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Dapodik, the South Kalimantan BPMP Dashboard, and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the years 2025–2026. The results indicate that IFP implementation still faces obstacles regarding internet infrastructure, teachers’ digital competencies, and the equitable distribution of devices. A total of 42.7% of schools have stable internet access, while 20.2% of schools do not yet have internet access. Additionally, only 37.8% of teachers have received adequate IFP training. This study emphasizes that the success of learning digitization is determined not only by the availability of technological devices but also by the readiness of infrastructure, human resource capacity, and support from a sustainable digital learning ecosystem in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by Aqidah Akhlak teachers in fostering politeness among seventh-grade students at MTs Al-Washliyah Stabat, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing the process. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving Aqidah Akhlak teachers, the head of the madrasa, subject teachers, and students. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that Aqidah Akhlak teachers implemented several strategies in fostering students’ politeness, including exemplary behavior, habituation, advice, discussion methods, and the integration of moral values into the learning process. These strategies contributed positively to students’ polite behavior, such as greeting teachers respectfully, using polite language, and showing respect toward teachers and peers. Supporting factors included a religious school environment, teacher role models, and character-building programs within the madrasa. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors included students’ diverse backgrounds, limited self-awareness, family environment, peer influence, and social media exposure. Therefore, collaboration among teachers, parents, and the school environment is essential in strengthening students’ politeness and character development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of farmer group members toward the farming profession in the digital era. The research was conducted in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling, involving a total of 12 research informants. The obtained data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, which comprises four stages: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. This study reveals that the perceptions of farmer group members toward the farming profession are dualistic, on one hand, there is a strong collective awareness of the strategic role of agriculture as a food provider, while on the other hand, negative social stigmas from the general public which identify the farming profession with backwardness and poverty still persist. Furthermore, the farmers' motivation to remain in the agricultural sector is sustained by three main pillars: economic factors in the form of promising agricultural yields, experience and deeply rooted work identity, and social factors through the existence of farmer groups that provide solidarity, psychological support, and collective social capital.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of teaching modules as instructional tools in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Teaching modules are a transformation of lesson plans, known as Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), which function not only as administrative documents but also as flexible, contextual, and student-centered learning guides. This article uses a library research method by examining and analyzing various relevant written sources, including books, journal articles, educational regulations, and previous research findings. The findings show that teaching modules have several characteristics, namely self-instructional, self-contained, stand-alone, adaptive, and user-friendly. In addition, teaching modules consist of general information, core components, and appendices. Effective teaching module development should consider diagnostic assessment, student characteristics, the Pancasila Student Profile, and the principles of being essential, engaging, meaningful, challenging, relevant, contextual, and continuous. Therefore, teaching modules serve as important instruments for teachers in designing innovative, differentiated, meaningful learning that meets students’ needs.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of inpatient Electronic Medical Records (EMR) at Siti Fatimah Regional Hospital, South Sumatra Province, using the PIECES framework, which consists of Performance, Information, Economics, Control, Efficiency, and Service aspects. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through observations and in-depth interviews involving nine medical record officers in the inpatient unit. The findings indicated that the EMR system demonstrated good performance in terms of response time and operational support; however, several issues remained, particularly regarding incomplete data entry and inconsistencies in information storage. From the information aspect, the system was considered capable of providing accurate and relevant information, although certain patient data were not optimally recorded in the electronic system. Economically and operationally, the EMR implementation contributed to improving work efficiency and reducing administrative burden, yet further optimization of human resources and system infrastructure is still required. In terms of control and service, the system provided adequate data security and supported healthcare service delivery effectively. Overall, the implementation of the EMR system in inpatient services has functioned adequately, but continuous system improvement and evaluation are necessary to enhance the quality and effectiveness of hospital information services.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at madrasahs has become an important effort to improve the quality of learning and respond to current educational challenges. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in IRE learning using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The research employed a qualitative approach through a literature review by examining various academic journals, books, and government policy documents related to curriculum implementation and educational evaluation. The findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum encourages more flexible, contextual, and student-centered learning practices in madrasahs. In addition, the curriculum contributes to strengthening students’ character development, critical thinking, and social competence. However, several challenges are still found, particularly regarding teachers’ readiness, instructional adaptation, and the availability of educational facilities. Therefore, the CIPP model can be used as a comprehensive evaluation framework to support the improvement of PAI learning implementation in madrasahs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Learning Management System (LMS)-based evaluation in Al-Qur’an Hadith learning at MTs Al-Muttaqin, focusing on evaluation planning, implementation processes, and the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its implementation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants consist of the head of the madrasa, Islamic Education (PAI) teachers, and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings show that LMS implementation in learning evaluation has been initiated but remains at an early stage and is not yet optimal. LMS is used for assignments, online quizzes, task submission, and digital grading; however, it is still limited to the cognitive domain. Evaluation planning has not been systematically integrated with LMS, and its implementation faces several challenges. Supporting factors include institutional support, availability of technological facilities, and students’ enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors include unstable internet access, low digital literacy, limited devices, and lack of training. This study concludes that effective LMS implementation requires improved teacher competence, adequate infrastructure, and more systematic integration to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social media in improving Islamic religious practices among adolescents in the East Binjai Military Dormitory and to identify the factors that support and hinder its use as a medium for religious learning. This research employed a qualitative field study with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving community leaders, parents, and adolescents. The findings indicate that social media plays a significant role as a digital da'wah medium by providing easy access to Islamic content, including sermons, religious studies, and daily worship guidance. Exposure to such content encourages adolescents to perform prayers more regularly, read the Qur’an, and strengthen their moral behavior. Supporting factors include easy internet access, the availability of diverse Islamic content, and motivation gained from online religious communities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of limited digital and religious literacy, adolescents’ preference for entertainment content, weak self-control, and insufficient parental supervision. The study concludes that social media can serve as an effective tool for strengthening adolescents’ religious practices when supported by proper guidance from parents, educators, and religious leaders. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed to optimize the positive use of social media in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study examines rental motorcycle embezzlement as an economically motivated crime through a criminological perspective, focusing on a case in Pangkalpinang, Indonesia. The study aims to analyze the economic motives underlying the crime, the modus operandi employed by the offender, and the fencing network involved in the distribution of stolen property. This research adopts a qualitative documentary case study approach using secondary data derived from official police documents. The findings indicate that economic pressure served as the primary motive driving the offender to commit embezzlement. The crime was carried out through a trust-based manipulation strategy in which the offender obtained the motorcycle under the guise of a legitimate rental arrangement before converting it into cash through a series of pawn and resale transactions. The findings also reveal that the offense was sustained by an informal distribution network involving multiple actors who facilitated the circulation of illegally acquired assets. These results suggest that rental motorcycle embezzlement should not be viewed merely as an individual criminal act but as part of a broader economic crime ecosystem shaped by the interaction of economic motivation, rational decision-making, and opportunity structures. The study highlights the importance of strengthening verification procedures in rental businesses and improving oversight of informal vehicle transactions to reduce opportunities for economically motivated crimes.
