Abstract

One of the essential skills in the 21st century is mathematical literacy. However, the average level of mathematical literacy in Indonesia remains low. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the PBL-STEM model supported by Google Sites integrated with instructional videos on mathematical literacy. This research employs a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted through tests, which were then analyzed using t-test, z-test, and N-Gain test. The PBL-STEM model supported by Google Sites integrated with instructional videos has proven to be effective in improving mathematical literacy. The results indicate that students’ mathematical literacy using this model achieved a BTA above 70%, with higher averages and completeness proportions compared to the PBL model. The average posttest score reached 86.67, higher than the pretest score of 63.3, and the N-Gain average of 0.49 indicates a moderate improvement.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) in Islamic educational institutions through a literature review approach. The research aims to analyze its conceptual foundation, implementation practices, challenges, and the integration of Islamic values. SBM represents a decentralization model that grants autonomy to schools in managing curriculum, human resources, and financial systems. The findings indicate that SBM enhances stakeholder participation, teacher commitment, and institutional accountability, particularly when supported by visionary leadership and structured management. However, challenges remain, including limited managerial capacity, weak financial transparency, low community involvement, and resource disparities. The integration of Islamic values such as amanah, shura, and maslahah strengthens the ethical and spiritual dimensions of school governance. This study contributes to the literature by offering a synthesized conceptual framework that positions the integration of Islamic values not merely as complementary, but as an intrinsic dimension shaping the operationalization of SBM within Islamic educational contexts. The study recommends strengthening managerial competencies, improving transparency, and developing evidence-based policies to ensure sustainable and effective SBM implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of peer education-based counseling in preventing risky social behavior among university students at Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was employed, involving 50 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ knowledge and attitudes after the intervention. The mean score increased from 59.86 (pre-test) to 81.74 (post-test), indicating an overall improvement of approximately 36.6%. In addition, knowledge increased by 24% and attitudes by 22%. These results demonstrate that peer education is highly effective due to social proximity, interactive learning methods, and peer influence. However, several challenges were identified, including limited time, varying levels of participant understanding, and limited learning facilities. Overall, this study highlights the potential of peer education as a sustainable and participatory strategy for preventing risky behavior in higher education settings.

Abstract

This study examines the role of collaborative learning in enhancing EFL students’ speaking confidence through a qualitative literature review with a systematic approach. The study addresses the issue that many EFL learners experience difficulties in speaking due to affective factors such as anxiety and low self-confidence. Data were collected from academic databases, including Google Scholar, ERIC, and Scopus, focusing on articles published between 2021 and 2026. The selection process followed a structured screening procedure, resulting in a subset of relevant studies for in-depth analysis. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that collaborative learning enhances speaking confidence through three interconnected mechanisms: increased social interaction, reduced speaking anxiety, and the creation of a supportive learning environment. However, the effectiveness of this approach may vary depending on contextual factors such as group dynamics and instructional practices. This study suggests that collaborative learning should be implemented with appropriate facilitation to maximize its impact on students’ speaking confidence.

Abstract

This study analyzes strategies to optimize the local food supply chain for the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) in Kendal Regency by integrating MSMEs with Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG). Using a qualitative case study approach, the research identifies structural barriers such as seasonal production fluctuations, limited cold chain infrastructure, and inconsistent quality standards. To address these, the study proposes a supply chain model focused on strengthening MSME institutions through long-term partnerships and data-driven logistics systems. Key recommendations include local government incentives and accelerated development of post-harvest facilities. The results suggest that solid MSME-SPPG integration will not only improve community nutrition but also drive the local economy and enhance regional food self-sufficiency. By aligning local production with SPPG needs, Kendal Regency can transform a national program into a sustainable catalyst for economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of village government in empowering MSMEs in Sambirejo Village, Binjai District, Langkat Regency. It also aims to identify the inhibiting and supporting factors in empowering MSMEs in Sambirejo Village, Binjai District, Langkat Regency. This research is a qualitative study, using interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection methods. The analysis used qualitative data analysis techniques, including written and oral data from several observed informants. In this case, the researcher attempted to provide a comprehensive overview of the village government's attention to MSMEs in Sambirejo Village. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the role of the village government in empowering MSMEs in Sambirejo Village has been implemented but has not been optimal because the Sambirejo Village government programs have not fully helped MSMEs, this statement is also supported by the condition of MSMEs that have not been empowered, One of the obstacles that occurs to the government in efforts to empower MSMEs is the lack of budget and facilities owned by the Village government, which makes the village government less than optimal in empowering MSME actors in Sambirejo Village, Binjai District, Langkat Regency.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve production hygiene and product packaging of salted egg MSMEs in Selat Village, Narmada, West Lombok. The partners initially faced several problems, including simple production processes, suboptimal hygiene practices, and less attractive packaging. The program was implemented through a participatory KKN approach consisting of observation, production mentoring, packaging training, and evaluation. The results demonstrated improvements across key performance indicators. In terms of production hygiene, partners began to consistently implement egg washing, raw material selection, and the use of cleaner production tools. In terms of efficiency, the production process became more structured and systematic compared to the initial condition. In terms of packaging, partners adopted more attractive and standardized packaging, including better product arrangement and labeling practices. Overall, these changes indicate an increase in MSME capacity in managing production and packaging processes. As a result, the products became more organized, market-ready, and competitive. This activity contributed to strengthening MSME capacity and supporting local economic development based on village potential.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on consumer satisfaction in purchasing Skintific cosmetic products among students of FEBI INSAN Binjai. The research employed a quantitative approach using survey methods and statistical analysis through multiple linear regression. Data were collected from 100 respondents using questionnaires distributed to students who had used Skintific products. The findings indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase satisfaction, while the price variable shows a positive but relatively weaker influence. Simultaneously, price and product quality significantly affect consumer satisfaction. The coefficient of determination analysis reveals that the two independent variables contribute 7.8% to consumer satisfaction, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings suggest that improving product quality and maintaining appropriate pricing strategies are important factors in increasing consumer satisfaction with cosmetic products among university students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of learning motivation on students' learning independence in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in grade X of SMA Negeri 17 Bandar Lampung. Using a quantitative approach with a correlational design, this study involved 54 students from a population of 120 people selected using a simple random sampling method. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire that had met validity and reliability tests. Data analysis included normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression tests, t-tests, and coefficients of determination. The results of the study proved that learning motivation has a positive and significant influence on learning independence (significance 0.021 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination value of 0.098 indicates that learning motivation only contributes 9.8% to learning independence, while 90.2% is determined by other factors. Thus, increasing learning motivation has been proven to be able to improve the development of student independence in PAI learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types and functions of dysphemism in the podcast “Siaran Darurat Comikaze” on the Comika YouTube channel. Dysphemism is understood as the use of words or expressions that are coarse, rude, or that intensify the meaning of words that are otherwise neutral, for a specific purpose. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing the note-taking technique to collect data from the transcripts of episodes 1 through 13 during the period from April to September 2025. The results identified 281 instances of dysphemism categorized into seven types: taboo terms 26 instances, curses or profanity 67 instances, comparisons of humans to animals associated with specific behaviors 58 instances, nicknames based on physical characteristics 3 instances, nicknames based on mental abnormalities 60 instances, -ist dysphemisms 14 instances, and insulting terms targeting the subject’s character 39 instances. Additionally, one new type was identified in this study: action dysphemisms 14 instances, indicating an expansion of dysphemism types within the context of comedy podcasts. In terms of function, three functions of dysphemism were identified: speaking about others in a derogatory manner 152 instances, expressing disagreement 31 instances, and expressing annoyance 78 instances. Additionally, one additional function was identified: expressing admiration or joy 20 instances, which demonstrates an expansion of the functions of dysphemism.
