Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of interest in becoming a teacher, entrepreneurial motivation, and career prospects on students’ decisions to choose the Economic Education Study Program. The study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of students from the Economic Education Study Program, with a sample of 96 respondents selected via stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS. The results indicate that interest in becoming a teacher does not significantly influence students’ decisions to choose the Economic Education Study Program (t = 0.596; sig. = 0.553). Entrepreneurial motivation also does not significantly influence students’ decisions to choose the Economic Education Study Program (t = 1.155; sig. = 0.251). Meanwhile, career prospects have a positive and significant influence on students’ decisions to choose the Economic Education Study Program (t = 9.056; sig. = 0.000). Simultaneously, interest in becoming a teacher, entrepreneurial motivation, and career prospects significantly influence students’ decisions to choose the Economic Education Study Program (F = 52.378; sig. = 0.000), with a coefficient of determination of 63.1%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), the exchange rate, and interest rates on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia. The study utilizes time-series data covering the 2005–2024 period, obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Bank Indonesia, and the World Bank. Multiple linear regression, performed using EViews 10 software, was employed as the analytical method. The results indicate that FDI and the exchange rate have a positive and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves, whereas interest rates have a negative and significant effect. Collectively, FDI, the exchange rate, and interest rates significantly influence foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia. These findings suggest that increased Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), exchange rate stability, and appropriate interest rate policies play a crucial role in strengthening Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves.

Abstract

Behind the convenience of online sales systems, businesses face rising platform commissions and marketing taxes that directly impact profitability. This study aims to identify the strategies applied by online shops in maintaining profitability, to analyze the effectiveness strategies, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study, focusing on one clothing UMKM that actively sells at Shopee. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the strategies implemented is raising selling prices, utilizing an affiliate system, negotiating production costs, and shifting raw material. These strategies are aligned with Michael Porter’s theory, particularly cost leadership and focus strategy. The effectiveness of the strategies is evidenced by the positive growth in NPM that consistently stood at 20%, exceeding the industry standard. The main supporting factors are the creativity of human resources and platform features, while the inhibiting factors include platform policy changes, rising administrative costs, and accumulated losses from product returns.

Abstract

This study aims to construct an epistemological framework of Islamic digital literacy based on the concept of tabayyun as a response to post-truth culture. Using a conceptual research approach and library research design, the study analyzes primary Islamic sources, including QS. Al-Hujurat verse 6, relevant hadiths, classical and contemporary tafsir, and scholarly literature on Islamic epistemology, digital literacy, and post-truth culture. Data were examined through Directed Qualitative Content Analysis to identify thematic relationships among tabayyun, Islamic epistemology, digital literacy, and the challenges of misinformation. The findings indicate that tabayyun functions not only as an ethical principle of information verification but also as an epistemological mechanism that integrates critical reasoning, source evaluation, contextual interpretation, and moral responsibility. This framework contributes to the development of Islamic digital literacy by emphasizing valid knowledge, ethical communication, and responsible information dissemination in the digital sphere.

Abstract

Mathematical communication constitutes a critical competency for students navigating the demands of the 21st century; nevertheless, preliminary investigations reveal that current proficiency levels remain suboptimal. Consequently, this study aims to evaluate the efficacy of the GeoGebra-assisted SSCS model in enhancing mathematical communication skills. Employing a quantitative methodology, this research utilizes a quasi-experimental design. Data derived from student test results were systematically analyzed utilizing t-tests, z-tests, and N-Gain evaluations. The findings demonstrate that the GeoGebra-assisted SSCS model effectively promotes mathematical communication. Specifically, this efficacy is evidenced by the fulfillment of the BTA standard, a 75% mastery rate, and a higher proportion of students achieving BTA mastery relative to the PBL model. Furthermore, the experimental group exhibited superior average scores compared to the PBL model, alongside a moderate overall improvement in mathematical communication capabilities.

Abstract

Mathematical critical thinking ability is an essential competency in mathematics education influenced by both learning processes and affective factors, including curiosity. A preliminary study at MAN 2 Kudus showed that tenth-grade students' mathematical critical thinking ability had not developed optimally and that their curiosity levels varied. This study evaluated the quality of Guided Inquiry learning assisted by Student Worksheets and described students' mathematical critical thinking ability based on curiosity levels. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was used. Quantitative data collection was conducted using cluster random sampling., while qualitative participants were selected through purposive sampling. The study found that Guided Inquiry learning assisted by Student Worksheets met the criteria for quality learning in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Students with high curiosity fulfilled all critical thinking indicators, those with moderate curiosity fulfilled the interpretation and analysis indicators, whereas students with low curiosity fulfilled only the analysis indicator.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital marketing at Quick N’Clean and to formulate appropriate digital marketing strategies to increase sales. Based on the phenomenon of declining sales on the Shopee and TikTok platforms during the 2023–2025 period, this study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with six informants consisting of the business owner, a marketing employee, an operational employee, and three customers, as well as documentation. Data were analyzed based on five digital marketing indicators: accessibility, interactivity, entertainment, credibility, and informativeness. The results indicate that Quick N’Clean has implemented digital marketing through the use of hashtags, interactions via the chat feature, before-and-after content, customer testimonials, and product descriptions. However, the implementation has not been optimal due to inconsistent content creation and scheduling, limited live streaming activities, and insufficient information regarding product safety, advantages, and durability. The recommended strategies include improving the consistency of content posting schedules, diversifying creative content ideas, optimizing regular live streaming, strengthening customer testimonials, and providing more comprehensive product information and tutorial videos to enhance consumer trust, expand market reach, and sustainably increase sales.

Abstract

Vegetative propagation through grafting is an important method for producing high-quality Siger avocado (*Persea americana*) seedlings. This study aimed to determine the effects of rootstock covering and rootstock age on the success of Siger avocado grafting. The study was conducted in Denggungan Village, Banyudono, Boyolali, using a factorial Completely Randomized Design with two factors and five replications. The first factor was rootstock covering (A₁: covered; A₂: uncovered), while the second was rootstock age (B₁: 4 weeks, B₂: 5 weeks, and B₃: 6 weeks). Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at 5%. Rootstock covering significantly increased seedling height, post-grafting plant height, leaf number, and leaf width. Four-week-old rootstocks produced the highest post-grafting plant height (26.70 cm) and leaf number (15.24 leaves). No significant interaction was found between covering and rootstock age for all observed parameters. The combination of covering and 4-week-old rootstocks (A₁B₁) showed the best vegetative performance and is recommended for efficient Siger avocado seedling production.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is an important aspect of students’ development and educational success, particularly during early adolescence. This study aims to analyze the role of peer social support in determining the psychological well-being of students at SMP Mekar Arum Bandung. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation involving five informants, including students and school personnel. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana through data collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that peer social support consists of emotional, appraisal, informational, and instrumental support. These forms of support contribute to students’ psychological well-being by strengthening self-confidence, learning motivation, emotional regulation, adaptability, positive interpersonal relationships, and a sense of security. The study also highlights the strategic role of schools in fostering a supportive, inclusive, collaborative, and bullying-free environment. Thus, strengthening positive peer relationships and school-based support programs is essential for promoting students’ psychological well-being.

Abstract

GPIB Immanuel Church Jakarta is one of the cultural heritage buildings with significant historical and architectural value in the development of Jakarta. The church not only accommodates worship activities but also functions as a symbolic space that reflects the theological, historical, and cultural values of its period. This article examines the application of Neoclassical design to the interior elements of GPIB Immanuel Church Jakarta as a historic place of worship. The study focuses on how Neoclassical design principles, such as symmetry, proportion, order, and spatial hierarchy, are applied to various interior elements of the church, including spatial organization, structural elements, the altar, materials, lighting, and ornamentation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach involving a literature review, direct observation, and visual documentation. The findings indicate that the application of Neoclassical design to the church’s interior elements supports liturgical functions and enhances the congregation’s spiritual experience while creating a monumental, orderly, and sacred spatial character. Furthermore, the application of Neoclassical design contributes to preserving the building’s historical values while maintaining its relevance to the functional requirements of contemporary worship. This article is expected to serve as a reference for further studies on the interior design of historic churches, particularly those focusing on the application of Neoclassical design as an approach to preserving historic worship spaces.
